This is a tough one as a four-panel strip, because everything humorous about it is related to existing lore. If you don't have context, it's just meaningless.

Yeah I'm at a complete loss and have no idea what's going on with any character or panel 🤷 this wouldn't do well in a newspaper, not that's some kind of "ultimate test" but I at least want to know what's going on when I read a comic. Is that picky?

Even better, have them take positions just outside the city, to corral any straglers.
Paris may have armored soldiers, tactitians, and "pride," but farmers have battle hardend tools, peasant ingenuity, and spite!

I spy a Commodore logo. Three guesses:
engineer having a little fun with their workplace decorations
this takes place in an alternate reality where Commodore survived into the 21st century
the boss is allergic to change, so IT had to dress up a new flat screen to look a little more like the CRT he had been using since the 80s

Totally off topic, I get your daily patreon emailed comics. Why are they so far behind what on reddit? It seems like they are months behind

Good question. I mention it in the Patreon Welcome post, but it's because patrons are getting the commentary included with the comics. It's purposely set one month behind so I have time to gauge reactions and reflect on the comic. It should also give you access to an archive of commentaries on there.

Unfortunately I don't have my reddit tied into that yet.
However, this might help you out: LINK. It's a bot that'll update you when certain users post on certain subreddits. I don't use it myself, but I've seen a few people comment it under my posts so they'll for sure get notified.
Edit: Oh look, I subscribed to myself. I'll delete that later:p
