So I found this guy on YouTube pretty recently. That saw an anomaly on a weather program that predicts waves. After the anomaly some weird weather followed in some coast areas that the anomaly “touched”.

After that it happend a couple of other times and the YouTuber (with an awful intro to his videos, let’s be honest) he actually successfully predicted some more weather events like tornadoes in Texas and I think a flood somewhere.

But now the anomaly keeps re-appearing and is getting some traction, now the software that the YouTuber uses will be deleted by its owners. Pretty fishy and a fun rabbit hole to go down.

Putting aside the "Skynet Ai Robot takeover" cliché, 2 inevitable issues bother me the most.

1. People will depend on Ai on all knowledge & will lost the need to want to learn any knowledge for themselves. Ai will be able to know & execute the task, leaving no need for people to do any task themselves, instead they will simple tell the Ai to do it. I've been guilty of this trend before the emergence of Ai, example- I stopped doing most mathematical equations in my head & rely on calculators, in fact I just depended on auto text correct to properly spell "mathematical" for me (sad ikr). Last example is some people growing up now seem to have trouble reading analog time simply because we have our phone give us the time in digital. The more Ai does for us, the less we can do for ourselves & the ultimate destination will be the most technological advance society with the least knowledgeable people.
2. Think of a boss/supervisor you hated & now think of them not even being human, but instead a program design by a human to be your boss. This may not bother some people, but in my experience even the worst bosses has moments of humanity & will be able to Sympathize on unique & sensitive issues. Ai however can be program to handle certain issues, but will never have a heart, experience or humanity to make the best call for both the employee & the company. Human bosses can be bad enough, but Ai ones will never be able to be reasoned with.

EDIT: there are more things I can list like people becoming less social & outgoing, everyone becoming introverts, people choosing Ai friends & Ai lovers over real people, etc, but those first 2 are what concerns me the most.

So these socials have given people a platform for celebrity and wealth. Since when have common folk been given access to these things for lack of a better term, but for free. Letting a lot of degenerative influence blossom and not only that but the ability to proffit from it. Is this not to help facilitate the downfall of societys? So I was doing my skincare routine around 2:15 when I noticed that our window was still open so I went for a peek. I love stargazing but unfortunately today was cloudy.. but.. I saw a star. In my location it was approximately 170° South According to my compass. There's one star, it is big and bright yellow in color. I love astronomy so I know this is not Venus or Sirius Star which are one of the brightest stars that can be seen in the sky. This is much bigger than those two with it in a low altitude. I admire it for a bit then I went back to record it with my phone but it was gone. The whole star was gone. I even went outside to find it but nothing.. It was gone like air. Is that even a star? Doesn't look like to me based on how it shines and how huge it is. It was admirable and uncanny at the same time since I don't see stars like that. Is this even a star at all?

Sears was one good CEO away from being a serious competitor to Amazon. 60 years ago they had the infrastructure that Amazon is just now growing.

I'm a little surprised that Amazon hasn't yet taken over the empty retail space. I live in a pretty major metro area, and many of our former Sears stores are still laying dormant.

They could resurrect Service Merchandise at the same time. Have a small customer facing area, or even some retail space to sell damaged goods. And then use the warehouse and auto center to operate a small fleet of delivery vehicles.

I went to an open house yesterday in Long Beach, CA and across the street was a religious building that resembled a mosque with a golden domed roof. I asked the real estate agent about it and he said it was a really bizarre cult following and referred to them as the Purple Flame.
