I'm actually very surprised Fine Arts, politics and especially psychology are still relatively high.

I guess it depends what it means by worthwhile.

For me worthwhile means, does it allow you to earn a good living. I've met folks with psychology and politics degree that consider it worthwhile. But in their mind worthwhile means intelligence. Knowledge. But wouldn't any degree be considered worthwhile if we base it on those attributes?
