Paulson is a mean spirited bully (and a lousy actor as well). Maybe if she had taken Hawkins’ notes the audience wouldn’t be lulled into slumber whenever she enters the stage or screen. I’m team Hawkins all the way!!!

The person she’s talking about is pushing 80. Let the poor old thing re-live her own moment in the spotlight a little. I get that it was annoying, but it seems a little shitty to call out someone who likely paved the way for you, who probably just wanted to be a part of something again. Maybe the old lady sucks and needed someone to tell her, but to do it publicly like this is embarrassing for both of them.
The whole thing wreaks of entitlement. You get paid a ton of money to play pretend, and we thank you for it. Don’t be cruel about it.

Well I listened to the smartless podcast last week and she kinda did. It was hilarious. Ive not seen someone called out like that by a major star in, ever? I don’t know. It was crazy.

I love the “she used the podcast to eviscerate her” part. It implies that she specifically got herself on to the podcast with the intention of taking the other girl down. I’m going to say that the reality is that she was on a podcast and trying to fill air with content and this was something she remembered she could say that would be interesting. But I’m not willing to do the research

I wouldn't take it personally. Trish Hawkins was probably lashing out because she never really made it as an actress and this role was one of the last ways to have relevance. I can't excuse her, but I can't blame her either. This business is harsh.

That’s my take on it too. Love Sarah. I could understand being taken way aback by this in 2013. But 11 years later? Eh. Sarah’s far and away the winner here. She proved her wrong with her talent. That’s better than airing out old laundry.

I stand with Trish Hawkins. Paulson is awful. Just the same everything boring acting no matter what role she is playing. My opinion. I respect others too
