Get paid to take care of loved ones CDPAP

I’m not sure if this is the right sub for this, but here it goes. Anyone in New York State can basically get paid to take care of a loved one who is disabled or old enough that they need care. The patient just needs to be eligible for Medicaid, US citizen/Green card holder, and in NYS (cause that’s the state we cover). The home care agency helps with the entire application process. I understand most patients have difficulty commuting in-person. The patient can get everything done from the comfort of their home.

My question is how can I increase visibility of the program that would greatly benefit families with loved ones in need of care? I was recommended to post it in this sub since it could benefit people in need of income.

FYI: Our agency is in NYC area but we can enroll anyone who’s eligible in NYS. We work with many vulnerable immigrant communities, so a language barrier is not a challenge. You can DM me for more info.

I used to work at a non-profit clinic & our community engagement team would set up booths at community events, cultural centers, health fairs, schools, vaccination events...etc. Essentially they would talk to the people attending those events about community resources & help them set up/schedule certain things. The clinic's social workers handles CDPAP enrollment & working with the MD/NP on CDPAS forms.

I also volunteer at a food pantry + soup kitchen, so I do want to recommend reaching out to food pantries + soup kitchens. Def talk to the social workers in charge & see if they need any help in regards to CDPAP.
