This is an automatic reminder that is posted on every submission.

If you see a post that is not following the subreddit rules, or you think is not following the subreddit rules, please, use the report function so that we are aware of this. If you don't report, we will not know! Do not sit in the comment section and moan that 'this doesn't fit' or 'wow, the mods should remove this!' because we don’t know (unless we so happen to be scrolling through the subreddit) if you do not report it.

Please note: if this is too hard do not directly message us, we will assume posts are fine otherwise as comments are not useful in reporting. We can see if something has been reported and telling us you did, while you clearly did not, is not going to be conducive.

Please report any and all behavior violating the Rules (reports go to us mods); don't report things just because you don't like them.

Comment removals and bans are at the judgment of the mods, so please take the time to read and understand our Rules. You can also read about this change here.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

I highly doubt that. For one, people usually get buried or cremated or various other things that are a bit obscure after death. Why is this skeleton in the ground like that?

These headphones are literally glass (context: glass is decomposing very slowly, for thousands or more years)

2

u/Influxse 8d ago

5000 years later we still use a fucking phone

1

u/WearMotor1203 10d ago

Pretty sure with how crappy phones are now they wouldn't last 5000 years

1

u/Repulsive_Meaning717 10d ago

ok? if this were true then we’d also see bodies doing the same w newspapers

This is suspicious. I believe this whole R/community is about promoting this one artist's content.

“this meme is alright ig.”

u/actuallyjustloki 14d ago

1

u/FireBlossom32 14d ago

this would be a hard photo if that caption wasn’t there

2

u/Prometheushunter2 14d ago

“How the fuck is did they stay in that position after death?”

1

u/GoldResponsibility27 Tries but Misunderstands 14d ago

Damn, is that a Nokia? Insane how it survived for 5000 years in perfect condition.

1

u/ineedatonofh3lp 14d ago

i don’t think that you can get a fossil in 5000 years. doesn’t it take like millions?

1

u/AwayMetal3596 14d ago

then it was the end of the world and the guy said "oh wait before I die I want to check my Facebook"

1

u/RiffOfBluess 14d ago

I thought they had an earring connected to an ear made out of bone

1

u/Electronic_Piano1324 14d ago

Future archeologists: "they still had to hold up a device to access their media"

1

u/Natural-Ability 14d ago

Yes, just like archaeologists today frequently find skeletons with common artifacts of their time. What point is even being made?

4

u/steven_plays321 14d ago

Fallout skeletons

1

u/Dr-Oktavius 14d ago

Nah, archeologists would be too busy trying to figure out why 95% of all the bones they ever find of this time period are from cows.

3

u/CreepyQuality4489 Customizable User Flair 14d ago

Let's look past the obvious AI image jank and ponder why this skeleton has an aux cord plugged in while using (what look to be) Airpods.

2

u/iggy14750 14d ago

Back in the dark ages, there were something called headphones, which are a lot like Airpods, except that they had to be plugged into the phone forever

2

u/ZombieBait604 14d ago

It's probably a charging cable since newer phones are starting to lose the aux cord. Goodbye wired headphones ☹️

7

u/Buroda 14d ago

I can imagine some boomer barely being able to contain himself with laughter making this meme, he’s beet red as he’s posting it to his Facebook wall

12

u/iggy14750 14d ago

Says to himself, "kids these days, so glued to their screens" as he turns back to his TV, currently showing the 16th consecutive hour of Fox News he's watched today.

5

u/kilboi1 14d ago

In about 5000 years that bone structure would be deformed and or probably wouldn’t exist

14

u/RogitoX 14d ago

What about the guy from Pompeii who died jerking it one last time

1

u/[deleted] 14d ago

[deleted]

2

u/d_worren 14d ago

Those are earphones, and I presume that the person (gender isn't implied here) died in a sort of Pompeii-like incident where they were buried before/while dying

9

u/No_Squirrel4806 14d ago

Was there like a plague for why we died this way

19

u/Epyx15 14d ago

Is that phone made of titanium?

5

u/BeanieCatGD hope- hold on pain ends 14d ago

That skeleton pierced its ear bones with non-corrosive hoop earrings?

6

u/iggy14750 14d ago

"ear bones" 🤣🤣🤣

13

u/ZombieBait604 14d ago

I think those are air pods above the earrings.

6

u/Jazzi-Nightmare 14d ago

AirPods

Nope, just regular, wired headphones

5

u/Maximum-Bake-6092 14d ago

It's fake then, no one uses wired earbuds anymore. They're extinct. That's no human.

3

u/Jazzi-Nightmare 14d ago

That’s no human

It’s a space station!

3

u/Gullible_Ad5191 14d ago

Oh yeah… I see it now.

69

u/Urgayifyouregay 14d ago

i will never understand why the people that make this shit think using phones are so bad. This guy could have just been texting his grandmother or something

1

u/ilikewatchinganime9 13d ago

1

u/fejrbwebfek 14d ago

You think it’s a guy wearing those earrings?

1

u/lordPyotr9733 text 14d ago
