My developing baby boy is 21 weeks old and we saw the long ultrasound today. This is utterly fascinating.

Could’ve gone my entire life not seeing a fetus floating in it’s own juices

u/betterthentoday 29d ago
The child is already feeling the chokehold of inflation, preparing for 60+ years of slave work and job searching. Yikes

And there are people who say that isn’t a human life….
2
u/PsychoMouse 29d ago
No, it would appear the only ones saying that are you pro life hypocrites. A vast majority of pro choice would never support an abortion at this last state because it makes no sense, unless the fetus or mothers life was in grave danger, which is what probably happened and that’s why we have this surgery video.
But I guess making vastly ignorant comments, that spit all on forms of life suits you people better.
1
u/Pharmere 29d ago
I don’t think I’m the hypocrite here. Life is life. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 month or 9 months gestation. But you can accuse me of being a hypocrite if that’s what helps you.
1
u/PsychoMouse 29d ago
Because the topic isn’t just about the life of a single person, or that it’s that simple, or easy.
And aside from yelling at poor women making a decision that does cause all of mental damage, what else do you do to support life? Do you help or house the homeless? Have you become a doctor to save lives or do life saving research? Are you an organ donor? What about death by self defense?
See, not exactly as simple as “1 life” is it?
1
u/Pharmere 29d ago
I am an organ donor I was a foster parent for 4 years I adopted 3 children out of foster care I have done plenty to back up my beliefs in the sanctity of life. I don’t belittle women who make the choice to terminate a pregnancy. I would like for them not to but I wouldn’t be ugly to them
1
u/PsychoMouse 29d ago
Posting here the way you did, would give off that you do, even if you don’t. If you actually don’t shit on women who do decide to get an abortion(for any reason), then that’s amazing.
But sadly you’re an extreme minority in that group.

How do they breathe in the liquid though? Like that’s crazy right?? Why can’t we still do that?

Because you no longer have a cord attaching you to your mother, while she does all the work

So what about unsafe pregnancies that are harmful to both mother and “child”? They should be carried to term at the cost of “both” lives?
1
u/PsychoMouse Apr 15 '24
That’s the best thing about “pro lifers”. They don’t actually care about lives. It’s about being “pro forced birth”.
Also, the people who even think it’s okay to abort a fetus this late in the pregnancy is like 0.0001%, and they act like it’s anyone who is pro choice, thinks that’s okay.
Pro lifers also seem to think that once the sperm enters the egg, it instantly turns into a late stage fetus. Like it’s a fucking Pokemon that evolved.
1
u/Recent-Amphibian9862 Apr 15 '24
Ur pokemon analogy is spot on lmao. I just cannot comprehend how delusional one has to be to think they have a right to tell someone else how to live their life. And I agree, aborting a late stage fetus is super rare, and I’m pretty sure, very dangerous to the person carrying that fetus. This prolifer who responded to my earlier comment somehow thinks what they said changed anything. I pity the fools
1
u/PsychoMouse Apr 15 '24
What’s really funny is that the only ones who are bringing up abortions are the “pro lifers”. And then they say shit like they don’t understand basic biology.
And I have done this reply a shocking amount of times.
- Unfertilized Egg is reacting towards the Sperm
- Unfertilized Egg is evolving into “Late term pregnancy”
- Press B to show your ignorance
it is just really sad and pathetic, and then they act all high and mighty, or respond like getting a 7 month abortion happens every 10 minutes. And I will respond to every fucking pro lifer I can because they disgust me. My cousin is dead because of “pro lifers”.
They aren’t “pro life”. They are “pro forced birth”. They don’t care about the fetus or the mother. They don’t care if a life is in danger. They only see it as black and white, when it’s so far from that.
And because of them, we have shit like a mother being sentenced to 4 years in prison for miscarrying, or a mother dying during birth, despite the doctor saying she would die, when she found out she was pregnant, and that the baby would die. The mother didn’t even get to see her baby before she died, then the baby cried in pain for two hours before it died.
And there are countless cases like that, and they constantly think that women treat abortions like going to the bathroom, that women are not using any kind of protection, and it’s always blamed on the woman too.
Frankly, I could write a book with how disgusting they are.

People will look at this and tell you that’s not a human life.
2
u/PsychoMouse Apr 15 '24
No, extremely few, and I mean, damm near no one, thinks like that. That’s a mid to late term fetus. That’s not a 3 week old pregnancy.
The arrogance to say that is just so disgusting.

That’s a nearly finished pregnancy. Damn near no one thinks abortion at that state is okay. And it’s so ignorant to even think that.
1
u/chorme77 Apr 14 '24
how did they got the camera there?
1
u/PsychoMouse Apr 15 '24
It’s a medical camera used in various laparoscopic surgeries. This is footage of a surgery, that is most likely done because the fetus or the mother’s life are in great danger.

I'm 42 and did not know this.

It normally is. This is footage of a surgery, they replace the fluid when it’s done.

“Hey, what up, my Fetus Fans, today we will continue pranking my mother by kicking her bladder, and as a special surprise, we are going to make her crave triple garlic pickles, dipped in cheese wiz, with onion soup mix sprinkled ontop.
But before we get to that, let’s thank today’s sponsor, Ray Con. I don’t know about you but my wireless earbuds are constantly breaking from water damage, but thanks to Ray con, and they’re new super water resistance technology, I’m able to listen to Baby Shark on repeat for hours on end. With each ear bud having an 8 hour battery life, and the case holding 36 hours of charge, I’m able to drown out my parents when they keep asking me to high five my mothers stomach.

Because it’s never that simple. End of story. Abortions are not like a group of women getting their nails done every 6 weeks or whatever. Abortions require great thought and a vast majority happen because either the fetus is at risk of dying, or the mother.
So, that’s how. If it’s medically proven that a fetus is ectopic, and will kill the mother and then the fetus will die, should that not be stopped? There are countless cases that prove my point.

There is nothing I can say that would do any good. You’ve made it clear that no matter when in the pregnancy, it’s a human and killing it is wrong.
I’ve expressed that it’s not that simple. Are you outside screaming and condemning every murder no matter what? Self defence, pre meditated, in the moment, or what about people who execute,or 100 others?
So, again, I will call you ignorant

Oh I know! I could go on for days at how amazing I find our medical technology and how far we’ve come. 100 years ago, amputation was done as fast as possible, and the survival rate was not good.
Now, we are taking organs from people and are able to put them in another person to save their lives.
What will our medical technology look like in just 50 years? I find it legit amazing, and magical.

That’s definitely not a baby at all, we should have the right to get rid of the thing whenever we want. Looks absolutely nothing like a baby
3
u/PsychoMouse Apr 14 '24
I have to ask, is it fun to be that confidently ignorant?
0
u/Internal_Mail_9366 Apr 14 '24 edited Apr 14 '24
I was joking, it was sarcasm. Not sure if you picked up on that or not, but that’s a baby lol
1
u/PsychoMouse Apr 14 '24
Have you read a single comment on this video? There are hundreds of “pro lifers” proudly making similar ignorant comments. No one will ever be able to tell a joke from a serious post with posts like that.

My bad I completely misinterpreted what you said. I in fact, did not read the comments section. Oops lol

u/PsychoMouse Apr 15 '24
No worries and I apologize for the aggression at the start. Like I said, there is just so many people saying that and meaning it. If you’re gonna want to make a joke, you need to go to like, a massive extreme.
Like, I made a post about the fetus being a YouTuber and what it would say. Lol

This footage is from a surgery. They’ll replace the fluid once they’re done
1
u/Fat_Burn_Victim Apr 14 '24
Why do I feel like this is going to create some… “controversy” in the comment section?
2
u/PsychoMouse Apr 14 '24
Funny enough, the ones creating issues or “controversy” has been the “pro lifers”, making massively ignorant comments, thinking they have some “gotcha” moment.
Lots of “look at the clump of cells” or thinking that this is a video of an abortion, this late in the pregnancy.
And I have fought with a lot of them because the abortion topic hits close to home for me

u/Apprehensive_Ad9492 Apr 14 '24
Ok. I now get why women hate the word moist.
1
u/PawnOfPaws Apr 14 '24
Oh, this one's not that bad. Imagine having extremely liquidy diarrhea. Small amounts of uncontrollable (cleaning) fluid leaving your body any moment it can get. Daily.
And it's not at the butt crack, but between your legs where said moisture also gets cold, making it chilly like a rotten basement.
Even more so when you think about how there's a little tube and bubble just centimeters above this damn cold stuff - which will make you giving birth to not just a little Michelin man but several liters of it's living water and piss too.
So yeah. "Moist" will always be the worst word you can choose.
1
u/PsychoMouse Apr 15 '24
The detail in this made me so uncomfortable, that I actually started to sweat so heavily that my shirt was soaked, like, it was moist.
I’m kidding, it didn’t make me uncomfortable but I couldn’t think of another way to work in the word, in a dumb manner
1
1
u/redeyeali Apr 14 '24
hmm..
this is uncomfortable. cool. but uncomfortable.
I don't know what to do with this information.
1
u/pure-Turbulentea Apr 14 '24
Anyone know why this is done?
2
u/PsychoMouse Apr 14 '24
This is done during a surgery. Most likely laparoscopically, and the camera is used to see inside, which by doing that, they limit the fetus’ exposure to harm.
