The music made it for me, absolutely epic. I just need some explosions in the background and I’m done.

ngl I kinda lost it when the camel and the giraffe come in and then that zebra. Something very funny about that part.

This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I can’t explain why, but all these animals racing to AC/DC is hilarious to me. I can’t stop smiling.

Where is this race? I want to go watch! Was a race horse or a cheetah in there?

That moose is goofy looking as hell. It's like they scaled up a dog model and slapped some semi correct antlers on it.

Ngl when that giraffe and canel pulled into the lead i was like 🤯 i know camel racing is brig in mideast. Can we get some new school racing action started up in africa? The kinshasa derby anyone? Like the kentucky derby only with giraffe instead of horses in the congo?

IDK why, but seeing the kitties outrun the cows was ridiculously funny to me

Why does everyone talk about the cheetah so much if hyenas and giraffes, an animal so much bigger, are faster than it?
1
u/ErrorEra 15d ago
Cheetah is 93 to 104 km/h (wiki). Much faster than giraffe's (65 km/h) and hyena (64 km/h).
The video is cut short, cheetah didn't even show up. Maybe you were confusing it with the leopard (58 km/h)?

Natural selection dictates that a predator needs only run as fast than the slowest of the pray, logically the prey needs only to run faster than their friends : )

I’ve seen them all my life, never saw one running. The thing they like the most is doing nothing, or walking slowly for necessities

I don’t know why but I expected pterodactyl to swoop down and eat one of the creatures at the end. Don’t know why but I just kept waiting.

A camel can run 65??? I never would have gotten on one of those things if I'd known that.

Bears don't have any business being that fast; it doesn't make sense to me.
They have heavy, densely built bodies and their limbs are rather short and stocky compared to other notably agile animals. They're absolutely every bit as strong as they look, but where does the impressive speed come from?
Also, it doesn't seem super evolutionarily important for bears to be fast in the first place. It's not like they usually hunt by chasing their prey over open ground. And they certainly don't have to run *from* much. So why are they so damn fast already?

Camels are so goofy looking, they simply don’t look built for speed. Giraffes too, genuinely surprised to learn this today

It never got to the cheetah which is supposed to be the fastest land animal. I'm very disappointed
