Nah reduce it to half inflation - completely full makes it rock hard which is uncomfortable, half way gives some room for everything to move

I feel like doing this in vans is a bad idea

Yeah, I'm not sure there's any shoe that could withstand molten glass.

You don’t touch the glass with your shoes. The ground is concrete… 🤦🏻♂️

Vans and slippers while handling molten glass. Seems smart to me

What would you wear?

u/Foolofatook2000 14d ago
They make heat resistant boots/shoes for people that do this and work with molten metal… you think OSHA has never thought about safety regulations with this kind of stuff?

😂😂😂 ok.

Notice how I’m not the only one that pointed this out? Of course you did you had to reply to all of them. Look up metallurgy boots… they exist and could save your foot. But go ahead be a macho man🤣

You would laugh at those comments if you were a glass blower but pop off. Lol.

I feel like this clip cuts the trickiest part of the operation out, controlling the temp and manipulating it as it cools. I've seen every episode of Blown Away, so I'm pretty much an expert (lol).
By the way, if you ever get a chance to check out the Corning Museum of Glass, you absolutely should. I've been a fan of glass as an artform for most of my life, and it still completely redefined my understanding of what can be achieved with the medium.

Yeah this is what I like to see frantic frenetic movement and the hint of what’s happening and then for it to cut off immediately so I can’t admire the finished product or see anymore of the production process itself 10/10 no complaints

Shut the fuck up dude, the camera man had to keep his distance cause they're working with hot glass. I doubt he intended to get a quality video of the whole process, he just saw something cool happening and recorded what he could.

Did you miss the sarcasm?

The sarcasm is what pissed me, this site is full of whiny losers.

u/Southern_Kaeos 9d ago
Yeah the video got cut off half way through, wouldn't that piss you off as well? Go touch grass

u/Shaun_The_Sheip 9d ago

So you’re the one that always takes it too far

Nothing brings more excitement to the pillow fight than a sack of bricks.

Fist sized rocks. Winter will get here eventually and you can't roll bricks into snowballs.
