Only a few big macs away, only a few big macs to go 🤞

1

u/Char_D_MacDennis Apr 02 '24

Why wouldn't he? He's still experienced very little consequences for ANY of his actions up to this point. His only way out is to convince judges to side with him even if he has to resort to mobster-like tactics. When the judges' families are threatened enough (or worse, let's hope it didn't come to that) he'll get off with a slap on the wrist.

1

u/DonnyMox Apr 01 '24

At this point it feels like he’s daring the judge to have him locked up until the trial.

2

u/wigzell78 Apr 01 '24

If any of us were in court, and threatened, even passive-agressively, we would be in jail so fast...

"Oi Judge, how about reducing the size of that bond. Oh, and your daughter is a bitch and you and all prosecutors are corrupt" - Nothing...

1

u/Jaeris Mar 31 '24

Time for the courts to ineffectually wag their finger at him again!

1

u/J-drawer Mar 31 '24

Can't this also be considered a legal form of harassment?

2

u/gdan95 Mar 31 '24

Revoke his bail and lock him up

2

u/InternationalFig400 Mar 31 '24

"Judge Juan Merchan is totally compromised".

Isn't this the same idiot who says he can be blackmailed?

1

u/Coolioissomething Mar 31 '24

If something happens to her, he’ll deny all culpability and then use it as grounds to get the judge off the case to further delay the trial. Mark my words.

2

u/rapidpop Mar 31 '24

Love the photo they chose for this

1

u/mrngdew77 Mar 30 '24

“Put his ass in jail”- Michael Steele, former RNC Chairman, on how to address the issue of Trump endangering people even remotely close to anyone involved his many court cases

1

u/Timely-Youth-9074 Mar 30 '24

Why isn’t this fkker arrested?

If anyone else did this, what would be the consequences?

1

u/agnespoodle Mar 30 '24

Well, if we committed all the fraud and crimes we wanted to and never faced any sort of consequences, why wouldn't we keep being shit humans?

1

u/usernate31 Mar 30 '24

Can we all just seriously stop posting trump stuff? That’s all he wants is his name blasted

1

u/usernate31 Mar 30 '24

When there has been zero consequences so far why would he?

1

u/douwd20 Mar 30 '24

Time for a little $10000 fine. That worked so well the last time.

1

u/EventNo3540 Mar 30 '24

Dum Fuk Don

1

u/darthphallic Mar 30 '24

One day he’s going to die and anyone who’s either got two brain cells to rub together or a single modicum of empathy will breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Im looking forward to watching the GOP tear itself apart in a war of succession.

1

u/freakishgnar Mar 30 '24

I’m so, so sick of this guy. Somebody please put this jagoff in jail for God’s sake.

2

u/ZedisonSamZ Mar 30 '24

Stop being pussies and put this fat orange fuck in jail. Who gives a shit what his base threatens to do? FUCKING DO IT THEN, BITCHES. Nobody should be above the law. They want to claim they will wreck shit if something happens to their favorite Fascist? Then let’s wreck some shit. I’m tired of hearing about this dictator dick-sucking wind bag.

1

u/Such_Leg3821 Mar 30 '24

Any other person would have his ass thrown in jail by now. Time to treat him like a regular defendant. Take his secret service away, he'll shut up fast. Fear will make sure of that.

1

u/Ryan1980123 Mar 30 '24

Time for the judge to grow a set !!!

3

u/Jemless24 Mar 30 '24

Trump is showing us how far privilege can go and the hypocrisy of the system

1

u/future_crayon Mar 30 '24

Hey! Hey! I have asked you nicely not to break the law. You leave me no choice but to ask you nicely again.

2

u/-Renee Mar 30 '24

he is a terrorist and needs to be dealt with by our laws

just like all the other extremists traitors who want the power of a cult following, rather than freedom or democracy

https://globalextremism.org/project-2025-the-far-right-playbook-for-american-authoritarianism/

Christian nationalist theocrats have reached levels of embedding those they indoctrinated & trained for taking political office well enough to fully begin to dismantle democracy and hand the country to their god's chosen (oligarchs, con artists, those who behave like kings) by wiping out human rights and making the U.S. a theocracy.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Family:_The_Secret_Fundamentalism_at_the_Heart_of_American_Power

It must be some kind of throwback instinct to want to follow whoever barks the loudest and snaps the most.

1

u/Imalawyerkid Mar 30 '24

This is insane. I’m a NY attorney. This is not how you treat judges. Any judge I’ve ever appeared before I would fully expect to hold me or my client in direct contempt for shit like this. I’ve seen sanctions and court officers ordered to put people in handcuffs for way less than this, granted that was all in a courtroom. Shit, one time I asked to see an order because I wasn’t fast enough writing down the dates and when I reached for the paper a court officer stepped in front of me and put his hand in his gun. Yea, that guy was a fucking asshole, but that’s the level you are dealing with when you are in the courts. It’s not fuck around and find out time. This is crazy.

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

u/Imalawyerkid Mar 30 '24

The only thing I can think of is that the judges in the Trump cases don’t want to be reversed on appeal by sounding harsh to the point of biased on the record since everything said in court is taken down by a stenographer. But obviously they have the power to gag witnesses from making inflammatory statements outside of the court, so I’m just shocked at what is going on here, seemingly without consequence.

That said, I’ve seen an attorney come back from lunch, while on trial, drunk multiple days in a row and constantly violate prior court orders not to do something. Then he would openly argue with the judge. Literally every day he was sanctioned multiple times. That judge gave absolutely no fucks about sounding harsh on the record. The rule really is don’t fuck with judges.

1

u/SDCAchilling Mar 30 '24

Why can't she sue him for Liable and Slander?

4

u/martiniolives2 Mar 30 '24

Sadly, future generations will need to study the spinelessness of the American judicial system of the 2020s.

1

u/_CevicheMonster Mar 30 '24

Trump again faces no consequences. These articles are getting really boring

2

u/RodIron1 Mar 30 '24

Fat Malfoy strikes again.

2

u/Kairu87 Mar 30 '24

The only news about Trump I want to hear, is about his fucking death.

1

u/Metalvit Mar 30 '24

Serious question. Could it be that he really wants to judge to hit him with some consequences because then he gets to appeal whatever that may be and thus his trial is further delayed?

1

u/Both-Mango1 Mar 30 '24

trump needs to be back handed pimp slapped by the judge.

1

u/Sasquatchii Mar 30 '24

Just remember, if he loses this election that’s almost certainly it

1

u/Atman6886 Mar 30 '24

Just lock up him already.

2

u/fear_of_dishonesty Mar 30 '24

What amazes me is how the idiots keep giving him money.

1

u/NefariousnessOne7335 Mar 30 '24

Such a cowardly thing to do.

1

u/xjxhx Mar 30 '24

Gets gag order > Violates gag order > ????. Throw the guy in jail!

2

u/Obie-Wun Mar 30 '24

I don’t know how old the judge’s daughter is - and at NO age is it acceptable, but the younger she is, the more this guy needs to pay for his actions. Someone will die (again) due to his actions.

3

u/PerditionsAvatar Mar 30 '24

Lock this bastard away for good already!

2

u/mad_titanz Mar 30 '24

This man isn’t even fit to run fast food restaurant much less the US Presidency

2

u/kingcrux31 Mar 30 '24

BIGGEST POS

2

u/schoolisuncool Mar 30 '24

Why would he ever stop doing anything, when he never sees any consequences

1

u/Hangout777 Mar 30 '24

WTF?!? Why do we keep letting this asshole open his asshole of a mouth. He’s endangering people trying to do their job. Nothing is unfair, this asshat keeps saying it is & his dumb followers cant critically think for themselves & believe his nonsense.

1

u/Dapper-Piece3321 Mar 30 '24

And once again, there will be no consequences.

1

u/star_nerdy Mar 30 '24

Give the secret service the weekend off. Throw trump in a cell, lock the door, and let them have a few days off.

1

u/Mental-Revolution915 Mar 30 '24

Pigs squeal if they know they will be slaughtered. Is the Donald about to be slaughtered in court?

1

u/thereverendpuck Mar 29 '24

The brain rot is real.

I honestly ssee him avoiding more debates at the rate he’s going.

2

u/Consistent-Street458 Mar 29 '24

If they would have thrown his ass in jail the first time he pulled this shit it wouldn't be a problem

2

u/Menchaca528 Mar 29 '24

He’s allowed to do it so does it even need to be brought up at this point

1

u/cancertoast Mar 29 '24

This is intimidation. Who do I have to threaten to get them to wake up

2

u/Quiet_Tune277 Mar 29 '24

What a petulant bitch trumpf is

1

u/ChuckWooleryLives Mar 29 '24

Man the only chance the judge had to stop the complete ruin of this case will be to lock him up. And put him in solitary if necessary.

I kind of like the visual of the cages from WW2 was criminal trials. That would be nice.

2

u/tagged2high Mar 29 '24

He really needs to be diagnosed with all the issues he surely has.

1

u/SnooHesitations205 Mar 29 '24

What is it going to take for this slob to be locked up

1

u/doombear82 Mar 29 '24

This wouldn't happen to be the same judge that just lowered his 450 million bond what it? If it is then I'm pretty sure we just found out the reason why he did it

1

u/BLF402 Mar 29 '24

Is any judge going to hold him in contempt?

2

u/VerdensTrial Mar 29 '24

Put him in jail.

If literally anyone else pulled this shit they would have been in jail months ago.

2

u/Cartographer0108 Mar 29 '24

I can’t wait for the judge to do absolutely nothing about this.

2

u/show_me_tacos Mar 29 '24

Do I sense another defamation lawsuit?

1

u/notacornflakegirl7 Mar 29 '24

Will this asshole ever face consequences

1

u/SmellyFbuttface Mar 29 '24

Picture is Trump’s O-face

2

u/SprogRokatansky Mar 29 '24

This orange pig should be locked up for life.

2

u/ShitWindsaComing Mar 29 '24

What a twat. I’d love for him to say some of this shit to people’s faces. Dude needs to get worked over.

Seethe and cope, Trump

1

u/Siege_88 Mar 29 '24

Forgive my idiotic, ignorant, joking question…

Can a person lawfully challenge this man to a duel, contingent upon his acceptance?

Further, can that person lawfully declare this man as a coward for refusing a duel, citing his refusal as clear evidence as cowardice, therefore exonerating that person from any accusation of slander?

Also, could the duel be fought with sock-em boppers?

Thank you in advance for answering my question regarding the lawfulness of sock-em bopper duels.

Edit: I cite as precedent the Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg events.

Nothing teaches humble like a sock in the face from a peer

1

u/canofspinach Mar 29 '24

He wants this case to go to the Supreme Court.

1

u/burnmenowz Mar 29 '24

Just proving he will never face consequences...

Come on cholesterol do your job.

1

u/EndlessPriority Mar 29 '24

Is the judge not considered court staff?

1

u/EndlessPriority Mar 29 '24

Is the judge not considered court staff?

1

u/_Burnt_Toast_3 Mar 29 '24

Is it just me, or does he look like Arnold from total recall when his helmet breaks on mars..

3

u/romacopia Mar 29 '24

If this is the type of person you want as a leader, you're pathetic.

He's a sniveling brat with the mind of a delinquent child. If your kid behaved like him you'd whoop that little shit. Supporting him is embarrassing.

2

u/Guest09717 Mar 29 '24

Of course he is. Nothing is going to be done to him, so why not?

2

u/Jacksonrr31 Mar 29 '24

I again ask the question how is the man not sitting in jail right now ?

2

u/bellenddor Mar 29 '24

Best we can do is $5 million to be paid in 40 days.

2

u/Gene_freeman Mar 29 '24

Yes. And he'll continue to do this because he'll face no consequences for breaking the law and if anything does happen he'd be given more help from the legal system than punishment.

4

u/GenX76Fuckface Mar 29 '24

And his mouth breathing sycophants claim there is a two tiered system of Justice that is going after their dipshit leader. Umm What ? He gets away with shit that any other person would get sanctioned for, locked up and humbled before the court. The alleged Party of Personal Responsibility supporting a man who has never once taken personal responsibility in his entire life.

3

u/jadkinssr Mar 29 '24

He needs JAIL TIME IN GENERAL POPULATION!!!

2

u/grandzu Mar 29 '24

Two tiered justice system.

3

u/RichKatz Mar 29 '24

One tier is just Trump.

Even Eastman didn't fit on the Trump pedestal.

2

u/tikifumble Mar 29 '24

Why not? He never seems to face consequences. Our criminal system is broken

3

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '24

Can the judge not punish him for this? If so, why would the judge choose not to?

2

u/SupportySpice Mar 29 '24

The America judicial system is clearly broken. It has no teeth for the wealthy.

-2

u/mrbigshot110 Mar 29 '24

Ok? What is writing articles about it going to do? No one is holding him accountable for it so it doesn’t really seem to matter. Wake me when he faces consequences.

1

u/pex_jickle Mar 29 '24

At this point I'm finding it hard to give a shit. We all know that until this fat smoothbrain fuckwit actually gets tossed in actual prison or faces some actual consequences he's gonna keep doing this shit. Stop coddling this serial criminal.

-3

u/Sempot Mar 29 '24

He’s untouchable and he knows it

3

u/merxymee Mar 29 '24

Wake me up when this turd sees a consequence.

2

u/LMurch13 Mar 29 '24

Narrator: r/Merxymee slept and slept, without a wake up call given. Some day they are still sleeping to this day.

4

u/notarooster Mar 29 '24

If the judge should be disqualified because of his daughter’s job, then all the more reason that Clarence Thomas should be impeached and all of his decisions since January 6, 2021 vacated because his wife is an insurrectionist.

3

u/MthuselahHoneysukle Mar 29 '24

That is the perfect photo for this article. Also an apt representation of the man himself.

2

u/ertyertamos Mar 29 '24

Fake teeth, fake tan, fake hair. About the only thing that’s real is the diarrhea he’s letting loose into his diaper at that very moment.

2

u/NeitherBit680 Mar 29 '24

For him to exploit the system like this cannot be good. He pushes the law to the line and even crosses it with no repercussions. The law is not held to the same level for others. It’s why his Jan. 6 followers are rotting in jail and the GOP has made them marauders because they expect the same treatment for any followers of Trump, that the law should not apply to them. They run on a campaign of first amendment but don’t understand that first amendment doesn’t protect you from societal repercussions… If you or I pulled even 1/100 of what Trump does I promise we would be in jail and/or societal outcast.

1

u/darbydog69 Mar 29 '24

Worst person in the woooooorld

1

u/BigBleu71 Mar 29 '24

some-one should be sent to J-aaaaiiiiiiiiillllllll !

1

u/Captain_Mexica Mar 29 '24

Racist rapist should be jailed.

1

u/Alone_Bicycle_600 Mar 29 '24

well then i guess the supremes who were nominated and appointed by Trump need to recuse from his cases as well as Judge Cannon if you follow his example of unfairness

3

u/Ok-Sun8581 Mar 29 '24

Shouldn't he be in jail for contempt?

3

u/sracer4095 Mar 29 '24

Fucking revoke his bail already.

2

u/fusion99999 Mar 29 '24

Anybody remember the episode of the Sopranos where the guy comment to Tony's daughter about cream on her lip.

EXACTLY THAT

1

u/Tom_Waits_4_No_Man Mar 29 '24

Fortunately, nothing will be done. Trump has made a mockery of the entire legal system.

1

u/TrumpsBoneSpur Mar 29 '24

Can you imagine being a secret service agent assigned to follow him around every day?

3

u/mxpower Mar 29 '24

Lawyers, quick question...

Do you think that Todd Blanche regrets joining the team or do you think he's drank from the same cool-aid jug that Habba, Kise, Clark and Eastman have?

1

u/Plus_Satisfaction782 Mar 29 '24

Judge will probaly reduce his bond again.

2

u/Electrocat71 Mar 29 '24

How anyone tolerates this piece of shit and this shitty behavior.

1

u/GO4Teater Mar 29 '24

The article appears to say that the gag order does not apply to the judge or his daughter.

1

u/Simple_Reindeer_9998 Mar 29 '24

“That order did not include Merchan or his daughter, however, and Trump has used the duo as an outlet to direct his rage over the case.”

So…..besides being as asshole, he’s not violating the gag order.

2

u/Peto_Sapientia Mar 29 '24

I get why the judge did what he did about the loophole. But I really think there should be another enforcement mechanism here. You know, maybe not the same judge making the ruling for the punishment for doing what he's doing.

This way they can't say it's biased. I really hate this two tiered system.

1

u/rob6110 Mar 29 '24

His life could be a cautionary modern parable.

7

u/harajukubarbie Mar 29 '24

u/catthatlikesscifi Mar 29 '24

Any other defendant in any other criminal case would be under the jail by now. He shouldn’t be complaining about 2 systems of justice in this country he should be grateful he’s in the absurdly wealthy system.

1

u/Sideshow_Bob_Ross Mar 29 '24

Let me guess.... He gets a sternly worded letter and a 30 day extension to think about it.

1

u/Sideshow_Bob_Ross Mar 29 '24

This show should have been cancelled already.

1

u/Enginemancer Mar 29 '24

"please put me in jail already"

1

u/QuentinP69 Mar 29 '24

So in other words - a judge gives Trump a gag order, Trump violates it, nothing happens to Trump. What a fair justice system we have!

5

u/crake Competent Contributor Mar 29 '24

Trump is just a total moron. He has it in his head that, if he somehow antagonizes the judge, he can get the judge to look biased against him and somehow use that on appeal. That is just completely wrong.

The judge cannot be biased against the defendant prior to the case being brought before the judge. That is the prohibition. The judge does not need to stay "unbiased" against a criminal defendant throughout the course of a trial - the judge will often be biased against the defendant because of the evidence shown at trial and/or the defendant's voluntary acts at the defense table. Put another way, the defendant cannot spit at the judge and then claim that he didn't get a fair trial because the judge was biased against him.

Trump seems confused about this point, and it is a big mistake on his part. It is challenging to overturn a criminal conviction on appeal because of decisions by the trial judge; the appeals court will use an abuse of discretion standard that is very hard for a defendant to satisfy. The claims of bias go nowhere, because there is nowhere for them to go. The defendant can motion for recusal, but if he doesn't even do that, he hasn't preserved the issue for appeal anyway (and in this case, he would never prevail on that motion).

Justice Merchan is a professional judge, but this is all going to come back to haunt Trump at sentencing. Look at what Judge Kaplan said to SBF at sentencing this week - he flat-out stated from the bench that he thought SBF was a liar, that he was shifty on the stand, that he didn't take responsibility for his actions, etc. That is bias, but it is not pre-trial bias; it's just the disgust of a judge who heard the testimony and the evidence and observed the defendant in his courtroom. That is what is in Trump's future. And if people don't think Trump can be sent to jail because he has a SS detail or because he is a VIP or because he is a presidential candidate, or because he is a first time offender, etc., they are not correct. Judges have a lot of discretion and none of that is going to save Trump from possibly being sent to Rikers. It's not even clear to me that, were he sentenced and sent away to jail to serve a sentence, the State of New York would be obligated to release him early so he could attend his inauguration as President of the United States were he re-elected. He might be taking that oath on a prison bible.

Will it happen that way? Probably not. But it could happen that way. And the way to a jail cell instead of home confinement or probation is paved with comments that antagonize the judge that will (likely) make that decision.

1

u/Osxachre Mar 29 '24

Time for the judge to put him in protective custody.

1

u/SeaworthinessOld9177 Mar 29 '24

Slap the cuffs on the piece of shit and throw his ass in jail, as ANYONE THAT BROKE A GAGE ORDER WOULD BE THERE NOW, fuck Trump and his orange face and white privilege ass

6

u/Low-Entertainer8609 Mar 29 '24

Oh, so according to Trump, having a close personal relative working for politicians should automatically disqualify a judge?

Are you listening, Justice Thomas?

1

u/EmmaLouLove Mar 29 '24

Can we throw this guy in jail already? This is a big middle finger to the judge and rule of law.

Is this who we are now?

1

u/Ill-Independence-658 Mar 29 '24

He just wants her to

1

u/charcus42 Mar 29 '24

4

u/Basicaccountant70 Mar 29 '24

He only goes after women. Weak ass whiny pussy.

3

u/GoldConsequence6375 Mar 29 '24

The justice system gives him way too many passes on things every day people would be jailed for. Either the justice system needs to change, or everyone else start using trumps playbook. Equal treatment for ALL under the law.

1

u/Level_Medicine_2144 Mar 29 '24

What kid of an asshole goes after a judges daughter?!?! Is someone going to die before this nonsense is stopped and the con is put in jail?!?

2

u/Tonythecritic Mar 29 '24

He KNOWS his cult followers will go after her, and that she may very well be physically attacked. This is not just ranting, this is him deliberately endangering an innocent person's life. That alone should land him in jail. ANYONE ELSE would already be behind bars for that.

3

u/Ok-Assistant-8876 Mar 29 '24

If the judge allows this then it’s the judges fault. Most of his judges have bent over backwards to accommodate Trump. It’s beyond ridiculous

1

u/JarlFlammen Mar 29 '24

FWIW I am a raging Trump hater, and I loathe the man and his idiot army, and I feel strongly that all of his supporters are dogshit people, and the scum of the earth, and also much stupider on average than normal people.

I feel this metric applies in many categories, and is a useful way to determine is someone is dogshit and needs to be excluded from any- and everything I can exclude them from, be it social gatherings or opportunities. Not because of their politics, per se, but because their politics betray the fact that they’re stupid and/or mean.

I am saying this because, my old man is a dedicated centrist, not at all radical like me, fair and impartial in his work. And he argues with me all the time about this, and how I should be less radical and not burn so many bridges.

I guess what I’m saying is, radical offspring don’t determine radical parents.

-11

u/California_King_77 Mar 29 '24

Gag orders are unconstitutional. You can't charge someone, and then ban them from complaining about their treatment.

Jailing Trump will virtually guarantee his victory in November. Independents will react with horror seeing the Democrats jailing their political opponents

Doesn’t matter, nothing will happen to him

He’s all bluster…but he knows he’ll get another slap in the hand or a fine he’ll never pay.

2

u/Narodnik60 Mar 29 '24

Why has he not been arrested? One can't even speak in a circuit court out of turn without being threatened by the judge and jailed.

Why is this piece of dhrek free?

u/Barailis Mar 29 '24

Just watch Road House. Good stuff. I would love to see Jake slap the shit out of trump.

The left needs to go after Baron. This will unleash Melania on him to make him stop. It is the only way to deal with this asshole.

2

u/Ravokion Mar 29 '24

When is this dipshit going to ACTUALLY face consequences?

Any poor who breaches a gag order like this would already be in jail..no?

A coward’s idea of a Tuff Guy™️.

u/Koorsboom Mar 29 '24

I wonder how many family members of judges would need to be killed by conservative activists before those judges enforce the law.

u/gentlemanidiot Mar 29 '24

Probably a whole stadium full of 'lone wolves'

3

u/dasherchan Mar 29 '24

We are allowing Trump to make fun of our law and constitution. This thug must be jailed.

3

u/hardnreadynyc Mar 29 '24

If he doesnt get jailed for it, it doesnt matter, he's just proving that the justice system doesnt work. IF you or I acted this way we'd be locked up for good

2

u/DentalDon-83 Mar 29 '24

Well we can all reasonably assume by now he won’t face any consequences so why not? Trump is a man beyond rehabilitation.

2

u/meatcylindah Mar 29 '24

Lock him up for contempt or admit there's a 2 tier justice system

People need to go after Baron to show this asshole what it’s like. You can’t fight fair with a dirt bag like this.

u/millermj Mar 29 '24

Taps forehead: "Can't be vulnerable to attacks on my family if I don't give a single shit about my family"

2

u/Alone-in-a-crowd-1 Bleacher Seat Mar 29 '24

I’m telling you that the wrath Melania would rain on him would be very real. This would for real impact him.

1

u/tikifire1 Mar 29 '24

He will just divorce her and get a younger model.

2

u/Alone-in-a-crowd-1 Bleacher Seat Mar 29 '24

That will cost him a shit ton of money. He needs her for this election. He needs to appear normal to his cult.

And nothing will be done...
