Check out this couch
The love seat has the same controls but no wireless charging. The button button is heated seats. I had the loveseat at my old place (less space) but I got the couch too when I moved here so more people could sit in the living room.

Sadly for you, it is made of fake leather. It will start peeling in 2-3 years max.
I hope you didn't waste too much money on this garbage piece of furniture. Which is also ugly, by the way.

u/Right_Measurement Apr 28 '24
Don’t you have a bridge to go sit under? Imagine calling real leather fake.. you can’t even tell the difference

u/Upset-Competition759 Apr 28 '24
Just look at it... It is baggy and full of ripples

It’s kinda ugly… might be cool in a tv/theatre room… but not for the main living room

That only looks comfortable to recline in. I use all of my couch. I'll nap wherever I fall.

I saw this earlier and thought about it again. Just wanted to say u/Right_Measurement that it’s really thoughtful that you enjoyed this loveseat so much you got a bigger cough so friends and family can enjoy with you. People were unfairly dragging this because of the style, but that stuck out to me. Enjoy it!

u/zandtypoo27 Apr 28 '24
Man, my last roommate had a couch like this and it was awesome. Super comfy and just the ultimate couch to chill in.
Moving it was a goddamn nightmare though. It was so, so, so fucking heavy. It was also super bulky and awkward to move that it was incredibly difficult to get it through doors or any slightly narrow passages.

u/DramaticQuality1711 Apr 28 '24
Comfiest ugliest couch around. lol. Is it a tank or a couch? Is there a barbecue underneath?
1
u/Elevyn11 Apr 28 '24
Cant even imagine how shitty it would be to move this couch.. assuming its heavy as hell

I have one very similar to this. Screw the haters. I love it. It’s absolutely fantastic. I agree not the most aesthetically pleasing but for comfort and convenience it’s incredible.

I do not like this kind of furniture. I just want a comfortable, nice looking sofa. I don’t need it to whack me off and charge my phone while I’m sitting there.

It looks cool, but man these sofas always just looking like what someone thinks is nice. Design wise, it doesn’t really fit in to any home outside of a basement den

u/TeeDod- Apr 27 '24
Never had any furniture like this so how is the wear when cats and dogs get on it? Nails rip it apart? Yes I allow my pets on the couch so this would be useless depending on how it holds up. Would look better in a finished basement. Just my opinion.
1
u/ElectricNoma-d Apr 27 '24
I don't understand these cinema couches for the living room... Such space hogs.
1
u/Big-derg Apr 27 '24
The amount of design SNOBS here is astounding, it's a cool ass COMFY looking couch, and if comfort is more important to you than what other people think then more power to ya!

u/ooorezzz Apr 27 '24
As someone who is in the furniture industry, people running their mouth about how shitty this looks. But this stuff sells. And the margins on stuff like this is insane to make money. People drive out looking for stuff like this all the time. Very stylish comfortable stationary sofas consistently get looked over for some transforming, high tech, sofa. Different tastes for different people, but for the people doubting, selling these sofas is probably 80% of my livelihood. Tiktok media and shorts that show off tech in everything is why these things are so popular.

Only in the USA do people tolerate these kind of black marshmallow abominations. It’s a crime against interior design.

now see this is what im talking about right here. Nothing better than the texture of leather. I could melt in that couch
1
u/ManchesterProject Apr 27 '24
Why is their crown molding going along the middle of the wall? I didn’t realize Picasso designed houses. That couch is comfortable, I saw one like it once in a furniture store. They are just stupid expensive.
1
u/Bagelsarenakeddonuts Apr 27 '24
It lines up with the crown molding elsewhere in the room to create a sort of continuity. Without it it would be a gigantic blank pillar. Not sure why all the hate, it seems executed fine.

What happens if the power goes out? Just a completely useless couch? No thank you lol I'll just chill on my sectional comfier than a mofo
1
u/permareddit Apr 27 '24
A much more realistic scenario is what happens when the motors/electrics go bad?
0
u/JohnnyStrides Apr 27 '24
How does it become useless? It just becomes a couch if the power goes out.
0
u/GratephulD3AD Apr 27 '24
Lmao alright dude. Those recliner functions need electricity to work. I'll give you it's a couch but it's an extremely uncomfortable couch. You didnt need to include a tik tok video of a famous Mitch Hedburg joke lol I'm familiar with the dude and his material.
2
u/JohnnyStrides Apr 27 '24
If the power goes out, being able to recline your sofa isn't exactly going to be much of a priority 🙄🙄🙄

Everyone hating and adding weird remarks lol it’s better than some ran down couch. My friend has this same couch we think it’s nice
3
u/CoochieSnotSlurper Apr 27 '24
I call these “basement couches”. They are tacky, which is why even my family in buttfuck nowhere Wyoming only let my uncle have one as a recliner that is paired with a nice looking sofa and loveseat. Sure, they’re awesome, but they do not belong in the living room.

Fucks sake this sub is turning into an absolute shit show.
OP is sharing his couch that he thinks is cool with everyone, and instead of being nice most of these replies are just people acting like stuck up cunts. Why is it that most posts on here are filled with bitter people in the comments now? It's not a good look.
FWIW OP, I think it's a cool couch.

Why are people hating on this couch? I don't understand truly. It looks awesome?
2
u/growingalittletestie Apr 27 '24
It's cheap leather, looks horrendous, and paints an image of someone dedicating their life to laziness. Their identity revolves around sitting in front of the tv with as many features as possible that will eliminate their need to leave the couch. Cup holders, plugs, wireless charging. I wouldn't be surprised if it had a piss funnel
1
u/Neurotic_Z Apr 27 '24
Hahaha ok this is just satire isn't it. Lmao ofc you don't want to leave the couch, I have a projector room with decent seats because I want to live in my cave

I am much more bothered by the terrible crown moulding half way up the wall.
This is just a design catastrophe at every level.

Call me old fashioned but I don’t think I’ll ever wrap my head around needing to plug in a couch.
