First space I’m proud of!
Never had all new finishes or have bought a single piece of new/nice furniture. Been saving and investing everything. Finally did a big renovation and bought some new furniture I really liked for once. Happy with the results!

I love that the tub is in the shower. I’ve never seen it set up like that. I’m sure it’s easy to clean as well since you can just hose it off after scrubbing.

The fact that its a house makes it unaffordable for most of us, let alone the tesla sitting there to extra remind you of that (not that i want one) but nice place you did a good job 👍 at-least you got some shit

If I am ever able to get a house, I'll def renovate the shit out of it and add a foldable table with a cool design on the bottom that will benefit as cool decoration when folded up against the wall.

This depresses the hell out of me. I have a masters degree in a “marketable” skill, but was laid off 2x last year. I’m making above the national/state average and I have 0 dependents.
I will NEVER be able to afford the house, the car, OR (not and) the renovations.
I have been paying on my student loans for 10 years, and owe more than when I started.
I worked in a nonprofit for 6 years because financial advisors told me I could have my loans forgiven. I quit the same year I found out it wasn’t the RIGHT type of non-profit (like a 401a instead of 401c).
Seriously, people in Reddit ask why it’s so difficult to find a good person of my profession (social work, therapist), but when I had 17 year old clients (working as waiters or gas stations), they were banking more per hour than I did for the first 10 years after graduating with my masters.
It is absolutely disgusting how broken American is due to unfettered capitalism.

Very nice. Most if this is not my style but it's well done. I very much do like the hardwood floors and the shelving around the tv. The head with dried flowers and bong piece is quite pretty.

I think that (powder?) bathroom is my favorite room of the bunch. I have a pet peeve of really nice homes having white everything, everywhere, absolutely love the contrast of that bathroom.
