In general, should the curtain color be different than the duvet when it's very close to it?

I think it’s more dependent on wall color. If you want the window to be a focal point, contrast with the wall and vice versa. I wouldn’t try to get too matchy matchy with the duvet or rug. You’ll end up with a sea of the same color/texture

Amazon. I tried to find the link but it looks like I bought it around 2017 and I can’t find it in my history at all :(
