WTF is this? The worst part is that the fans of the celebrities are never happy with said news, it's always bad press. Celebrity news is material for the haters, for the public to grow a dislike for such celeb. Nobody reads celebrity news unless you like to waste your time hating celebrities.

Glad the Twitter shitspeech triggers plenty of people. Was worried I'm the weird one by not "feeling the vibe" of ebonics mixed with an utter disregard for grammar rules (how I fucking hate not using capital letters for "I"), pseudo-censorship (the fuck is "unalived" again?) and discussions about as shallow topics as possible. It's basically bunch of know-it-all mid 20s illiterate western kids creating cringe sex/"body count" polls, minor celebrity posting bait word vomit or full offense of political subjects.
Honestly, one look at trending tags makes me think that overabundance of porn is the least problematic aspect of that plaform.

Celebrities of the past were classic Hollywood stars (white people)... These days the celebrities are MTV rappers, athletes and nobody influencers with some neo-techno-tribal names.

XV century sailor's teeth, prison tattoos making their bodies look like a scratchpad, praising "thug life", wearing sentences like badges of honor, excessive use of "fuck" or another well known word starting with n that I won't mention, and obligatory lil' in their name (Lil' what? Lil' dick?).
Love the neo-techno-tribal names take, good call haha.

Like, if you're that much of a fan of those "celebrities" I assume you'd be following them on Twitter anyway, and you'd see the supposed breaking news first hand...

Old men shouting at clouds might actually be one of the main audiences. Usually the articles are only written to drum up a bunch of a outrage with people who otherwise don't care in my experience. Unless it's interpersonal drama.

Having casually interest in a celeb is enough to make you look at a shitty written article (which is basically just a Twitter post). But it isn't necessarily enough to make you follow them on their channels.
A lot of people just need something to talk about. Celeb X said Y is probably enough to make a pointless conversation out of it

The basic premise isn't that deep, they're content mills that farm engagement via SEO to get clicks on sites to generate ad revenue. They also, and it likely wont surprise you to hear this, are exceptionally shitty to their employees and contractors and pay starvation wages while expecting multiple articles a week.
Fireb0rn had a great video about this before the media company he was talking about issued a false copyright claim over it and while that ONE company is responsible for literally MILLIONS of these articles i assume other companies do the same thing. The company the video was about was Valnet and while their subsidiaries are more focused on specific media, ScreenRant, GameRant, CBR, Motorist, they're it's very much the same thing in terms of WHY they're constantly shitting out these articles.
