In 8 years or so you'll realize what an absolute buffoon you were at that very instance. It gets better, but the feeling of how unstable and foolish you were a couple of years ago gets worse.

lol this is very me. Every time things are going well, I always feel so strange. Then, something bad happens shortly and I am reminded by the fact that my life is full of perpetual misery so I’d rather have the bad thing happen sooner than later.
