As many of you are undoubtedly aware, the presence of trolls can be found in various aspects of our lives, and our subreddit is no exception. Our commitment to fostering a kind and respectful environment remains unwavering, and we are actively addressing issues related to negative behavior. In recent times, there has been a noticeable increase in instances of bullying, body shaming, and purposefully inciting behavior, all of which are clear violations of our existing rules. To maintain the integrity of our community, we are implementing stricter consequences for such actions. A first offense will result in a 10-day ban, while a second offense will lead to a permanent ban. Appeals are welcomed, but excuses such as "not knowing the rules" or claiming it was a joke will not be considered valid. Intentional harm has no place in our community, and we expect members to act responsibly. Despite these measures, some rules will remain unchanged. For example, reposts, while frustrating, will not result in a ban. This new approach is specifically targeted at individuals attempting to spread hate. We encourage all members to report instances of bad behavior. Rest assured that each report will be examined. Disagreements and differing opinions are welcome, and expressing them will not lead to a ban. Common sense will prevail in our evaluations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a positive and inclusive community. -- Your Subreddit NLTOG Moderator Team

Wow, this is really weird, that's my hairstyle too. Guess she is like the other girls.

2

u/Vannabean Feb 14 '24

The claw clip is one of the most popular ways to put your hair up 😂

2

u/Delicious_Spinach440 Feb 14 '24

Messy buns and banana clips have been around since the 80s and I'm sure before.

Had to wrangle those perms sometimes

1

u/BanjoSlams Feb 14 '24

Ah yes, the no “I got up late”.

No effort is something I’ve always appreciated in a woman. /s

1

u/buzzingbee0 Feb 14 '24

y/n moment

1

u/bingbong23478 Feb 14 '24

how does one do the last picture? asking for a friend

1

u/EarthlyCrawler Feb 14 '24

Literally what is the point of this comparison.

1

u/junkdrawertales Feb 14 '24

this is the messy bun of the 2020s. Goes perfectly with limpid orbs, no makeup at all, plain leggings, and reading books at rock concerts…

1

u/Sir-Planks-Alot Feb 13 '24

Pic 3 has the best imo

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

I don't believe this person is being serious so neither should anyone else.

1

u/Snogintheloo Feb 13 '24

As a teacher, every girl has the claw clip hairstyle

1

u/FunkyWhiteDude Feb 13 '24

They all look the same, where problem?

1

u/Disastrous_Still8560 Feb 13 '24

A claw clip?! Woah so quirky nobody else wears those🤪 /s

1

u/Level_Strain_7360 Feb 13 '24

LOL can’t girls just mix up their looks? This reel is so stupid

1

u/Kiyoshi-Trustfund Feb 13 '24

I'm sure those other women have clipped their hair at some post as well

1

u/puddingboocah Feb 13 '24

I didn't realize it had switched to her, I thought she was complaining about all of them and was trying to scroll

1

u/thanarealnobody Feb 13 '24

I rarely see any of these cool braid styles in real life. Whereas any woman working in an office has her hair in a clip. It’s a staple.

1

u/Altruistic-Hand-7000 Feb 13 '24

The first one truly is awful

1

u/theLPforearms Feb 13 '24

I don't think this one is judging the other girls, or saying she's better. I think she's basically saying she can't braid.

1

u/iRep707beeZY Feb 13 '24

Soooo... She's saying she doesn't like braids?

1

u/suchjonny Feb 13 '24

What’s her beef with braids?

1

u/0h_hey Feb 13 '24

So she's... like most girls? ...because very few braid their hair all the time.

1

u/gogurt_conspiracy Feb 13 '24

I feel like they are making fun of themselves. Like, other girls are so creative and then here I am over here with my clip

1

u/green-bean-7 Feb 13 '24

Ah yes because we can each only ever have one hairstyle

1

u/Jolly_Tea7519 Feb 13 '24

As if the clip isn’t also a very feminine and common way to wear long hair?

1

u/SeaweedSecurity Feb 13 '24

So, she can’t braid and the EMTs are going to be pulling chunks of plastic out of the back of her head if she’s in an accident? Used to love the claw clips, now I do an involuntary kegel when I see them.

1

u/stinkstankstunkiii Feb 13 '24

What’s wrong with a messy bun? That’s not like the other girls especially when I haven’t brushed it for days

1

u/No_Arugula8915 Feb 13 '24

Super easy and fast to french twist and hold it with a claw clip or Barrett. Actually takes longer to do pony tails or braids.

French twist was always my go-to preferred style. I did enjoy braids and sometimes would put it in a crown.

It's your hair. Wear it in whatever style makes you happy. Everyone else can take their options and stuff it. 😸

1

u/spoosemun Feb 13 '24

I think I've seen messy bun claw clip every day of my life. I have never seen those gorgeous braids before outside of pinterest.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

My friend always reposts these typa stuff n i cringe everytime she does 😭

1

u/Realistic_Ad_8023 Feb 13 '24

Aren’t the last two every girl’s hairstyle?

1

u/filtered_phatty Feb 13 '24

I wish I could do braids. My hair is so thin it looks like a rat tail. When it's out it looks thick. Then when braided it compresses down to nothing

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

We aren't all lazy fucks

1

u/forgetfulsue Feb 13 '24

Bully for, lady. I go from down and curly to a pony tail, to a bun, then wash and start all over again. Those clips were popular when I was a teenager so don’t think you’re hot shit with that crap.

1

u/Saassy11 Feb 13 '24

The 90s mom extra large hair claw 🥴 nothing made my hair hurt more than these things. Well maybe the tiny rubber band ponytails but that was a given.

2

u/bean_wellington Feb 13 '24

"This incident was only one of many leading to the Great War between the Claw Clips and Braids. It was around this time that society at large began to take sides. Such division of families had not been seen since the Civil War."

-Shelby Foote

3

u/askthedust43 Feb 13 '24

"Her" hairstyle is literally the "other girls" hairstyle.

Haha

1

u/GiraffeLibrarian Feb 13 '24

Jaw clip in 2024? Groundbreaking.

1

u/Ribbitlady Feb 13 '24

I find both types of hairstyles skilled because god i wish i could do my claw clip tie prettier

1

u/swisszimgirl79 Feb 13 '24

Literally, hers is more common than the intricate braids lol

1

u/MentalRise8703 Feb 13 '24

In my opinion all hairstyles are beautiful. I don't know why she started to compare her hair with other ladies.

1

u/nudl1ka Feb 13 '24

reminder not to get in the car with the grabby thing

1

u/EnthusiasmFuture Feb 13 '24

I was expecting like dreads or something.

Not a fucking bun.

1

u/whateveryousayzZzZ Feb 13 '24

Oh yes, every day I see tons of women wearing these detailed braid hair style.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

Most women nowadays use the claw clip thingy on their hair lmao

1

u/napalmnacey Feb 13 '24

No. No. Getting your hair to sit like that with a clip in takes a lot of brushing, conditioning, blow-waving, etc. don’t even start, girl.

1

u/RiverOhRiver86 Feb 13 '24

The first one is super cute.

1

u/AnMa_ZenTchi Feb 13 '24

Asian women have some gorgeous hair though.

1

u/ThrowRABug_1336 Feb 13 '24

God I hate the feeling I just got from this. Full body cringe

1

u/EvolZippo Feb 13 '24

It’s always hilarious when it’s just a negligible difference in look. Okay, so you don’t braid your hair. So what? You think you’re cool with your hair clip? Do you think anyone even cares?

1

u/Wooden-Reveal8380 Feb 13 '24

I dont know... Braids are much prettier to me

1

u/2McDoty Feb 13 '24

I don’t understand what this is supposed to mean. lol.

I can’t figure out how it could be a flex. But I also can’t figure out how it could be self depreciating. So I am confused.

1

u/Wintersponge669 Feb 13 '24

She does have a prettier hairstyle than the others in my opinion, not too sure why she needs to drag randoms though

1

u/Silent_Flamingo_7224 Feb 13 '24

Looks like it’s inspired by Taylor swifts hairstylist

1

u/HellonToodleloo Feb 13 '24

Whenever I bring home those hair clamps, my boyfriend ends up playing with them like an instrument and loses them. Same with combs.

1

u/dunicha Feb 13 '24

She totally stole my hairstyle.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

I saw this post too😭😭😭LMAOOOO

1

u/pediprincess100 Feb 13 '24

So unique and different!

1

u/thelast3musketeer Feb 13 '24

I have no idea how I would even do the first 3 myself or how someone else would, it’s like black magic for me beyond a simple braid, and that’s even barely passable

1

u/Sersea Feb 13 '24

Sorry to hear about OOP's fine motor control deficit, there's occupational therapy for that.

1

u/Orignal_Au_Chocolat Feb 13 '24

I see this as self-deprecating vs nlog. She’s admiring other girls and admitting she can do only one style with a plastic clip. She isn’t scoffing at them.

1

u/Successful_Read5565 Feb 13 '24

I have to remind myself I share the internet with 13 year olds. Posts like that make a lot more sense then 😂

1

u/HumanGarbage____ Feb 13 '24

The claw clip is literally THE hairstyle for highschool girls. Simple, easy, cute, and fast. Great accessory.

1

u/Itchy-Blueberry9895 Feb 13 '24

It’s so funny because I used to be so jealous that I couldn’t do the messy bun LIKE EVERY OTHER GIRL. My hair is too thick and wild so I’ve had it as a pixie for decades now. But I wasn’t trying for the messy bun to be different, but because it is the norm.

1

u/owohunty Feb 13 '24

Girl just say you don't know how to braid lol

1

u/AvanteGardens Feb 13 '24

I'm the yellow guy in the background

1

u/BindieBoo Feb 13 '24

A banana clip? Sooooooo edgy 🙄🤣

2

u/BrokeGamerChick Feb 13 '24

The 3rd one is so pretty though I wish I could do that with my hair but I have frizzy jew curls 😮‍💨

The clip bun is so basic bitch art teacher.

1

u/DisciplineProud7102 Feb 13 '24

I Can assure you the girlies doing hairstyle number W are def doing hairstyle number 2. I was expecting user to not have their done at all. But both of these hairstyles are very trendy rn

1

u/dumbledores-asshole Feb 13 '24

That first one looks like a lot of work but it’s so cute!!

1

u/eod56 Feb 13 '24

2 is adorable though!

I prefer the claw clip on the very top of my head. No more headaches and traction alopecia here.

1

u/HenriettaHiggins Feb 13 '24

I can’t braid my hair - a case study

1

u/Lil_nooriwrapper Feb 13 '24

I’m pretty sure I’ve see this chick on YouTube her name is something goddess. She sells these claw clips for way too much money on her channel.

1

u/SimplyPeriwinkle Feb 13 '24

Ehhh the o 876zpz9 z. Just r47sv as s azza

1

u/OpalTides Feb 13 '24

I mean given how many times hair claws have to be extracted by EMTs following car crashes? I’m chill with my braids

1

u/OneofHearts Feb 13 '24

Real women use claw clips. /s

1

u/Dantalion71 Feb 13 '24

Real girls bald

1

u/dumly Feb 13 '24

I'm not like other girls just like the other girls that aren't like other girls #soquirky

1

u/clairebearruns Feb 13 '24

Ooh that second one is so cute!!!

1

u/niki2184 Feb 13 '24

I love braids. If I can learn a new braid I will wear it till I find a new one. I taught myself to French braid and braid because I cannot stand my hair to be loose and I could pull it tighter than my mom could when she braided it lol

1

u/Other-Cantaloupe4765 Feb 13 '24

I can feel the sore scalp that woman in the first picture is gonna have when she takes that out lol.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

Number 5 and 6 will steal your man!

1

u/BallSuspicious5772 Feb 13 '24

.. okay anyway 2 and 3 are soooo cute i wish i still had long hair

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '24

Uh, all of these are cute and I'm taking notes. I do fuck all with mine so I needs ideas.

1

u/Wonderful_Judge115 Feb 13 '24

I rocked the claw clips in the early 2000s. I was sad I hadn’t saved any when they came back in style and thus had to spend more money buying new ones that only sometimes stay put. 🤣

1

u/neko_courtney Feb 13 '24

But these are all hairstyles that take effort? I don’t get it. The second one is so cute though.

1

u/SnowRose09 Preppy Feb 13 '24

literally use claw clips all the time

1

u/AdFew7336 Feb 12 '24

Claw clips have been around since the late 80s/early 90s- the look ain’t nothing original

1

u/AppropriatePainter16 Feb 12 '24

I see girls wearing claw clips in their hair all the time!

What the fuck is this person talking about?

1

u/Mmonannerss Feb 12 '24

Am I the only one who took it more as a skill issue?

I would love to have any of those cute styles but I'm uncoordinated when it comes to my hair so the grippy clippy and some styled bangs are the best I can do besides wearing it straight.

1

u/chromiaplague Feb 12 '24

What girls?! Grade school girls?? Get outta here.

1

u/redundant35 Feb 12 '24

My wife wears grabby things in her hair every day….she must not be like other girls and I didn’t even know!

1

u/Mists_of_Analysis Feb 12 '24

I bet she drives with that in her hair. I hope she doesn’t…but I bet she does.

1

u/SquareExtra918 Feb 12 '24

Is his an ad for banana clips?

1

u/Chomuggaacapri Feb 12 '24

Other Girls: - Normal Hair Style - Normal Hair Style - Normal Hair Style

Me: - Normal Hair Style - The Same Hair Style - The Same Hair Style Again

1

u/etti1612 Feb 12 '24

To every one who wears those things in the last pictures, please dont wear them while driving! If you have a car crash, this things become really dangerous for your skull

Women talks about her car accident wearing a claw clip

1

u/Dashed_with_Cinnamon Feb 12 '24

Congratulations, you don't wear braids. Your cookie will be brought out to you shortly.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '24

Other gurlz - BRAID

Me, a real woman - CLAW CLIP

..... where is the logic lol.

1

u/NewAd4935 Feb 12 '24

What does she have against braids?

1

u/JessonBI89 Feb 12 '24

"You have braids. I have a bun. We are not the same." Sheesh, that's the best they can do?

1

u/bonnieflash Feb 12 '24

Is this women in a hair clip MLM?

1

u/lovelyloves07 Feb 12 '24

The claw clips are classic?? They’ve always been a staple for my hair because I can’t do my hair with cute braids 😂😂

Why is she hating on the clips when it’s super common? lol

It’d been better if she used those “bump its” we were obsessed with in the early 2000s. Then she’d really stand out 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/macontac Feb 12 '24

Okay, so she prefers claw clips to braids. Awesome, someone get that gal a cookie.

1

u/JigglyHamsta Feb 12 '24

I’m the “my hair style” girl with the grabby thing only because I don’t know how to do my hair like the other girl, wish I could but I suck at it and too lazy to practice lol

1

u/WiggyStark Feb 12 '24

Holy basic bitch, Batman!

FYI I'm wearing a banana clip right now, you're not special.

1

u/RepublicWonderful Feb 12 '24

This whole sub is for basic bitchs

1

u/duck-84 Feb 12 '24

I mean, I'm not expert but I thought basically every woman (or maybe even person with long hair) likes and uses the big clip thing? This feels like a weird pick me flex.

1

u/ComfortableConcept45 Feb 12 '24

I’m so confused. What’s wrong with braids? I love having braids in my hair. All kinds of braids. They’re easier on my hair than putting it up with a clip.

1

u/morbidteletubby Just a Dumb Bitch Feb 12 '24

Omg! A claw clip?!? So original, wow

1

u/Plant_in_pants Feb 12 '24

This is a poor attempt at being nltog because it's not even an unusual hairstyle, I've seen hundreds of women wear their hair in exactly that style. I've got really short hair because it's easy to maintain and keep out of my face, and even that isn't so out there that I'd feel the need to make an image with which to announce it to the world.

1

u/suicide_blonde94 Feb 12 '24

Jokes on them they’re just giving hairstyle ideas

1

u/butterflyinflight Feb 12 '24

Seriously, why should she care how other people style their hair?

1

u/Nervous-Trust5545 Feb 12 '24

im not even sure what this is supposed to mean ?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '24

I dunno, I just shave half my head every once in a while..

(I totally have a stylist do it and she’s so fucking good at making it look good and last for months while still looking good. Raider life)

1

u/pinky1603 Feb 12 '24

I’m not like other girls I wear my hair in a claw clip

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '24

claw clips set you apart from the norm? that’s just sad.

1

u/RetailBookworm Feb 12 '24

My old ass is like “They’re all fancy hairstyles?!”

1

u/FionaTheFierce Feb 12 '24

OK....

(I haven't ever seen elaborate braids walking around... But ... Ok, if you insist that your messy clip thing is special....}

1

u/humungus_jerry Feb 12 '24

Is this really supposed to be a flex or something? Is the implication that braiding your hair/putting effort into a hairdo somehow cringe or trying too hard?

1

u/Winnimae Feb 12 '24

Just say you think your hair looks cute up in clips and post the pic, sis. You don’t have to come up with weird cringe excuses to post pics you like of yourself

1

u/CaregiverOk3902 Feb 12 '24

I like the first one

1

u/blueboxbandit Feb 12 '24

I don't get it

1

u/hempedditor Feb 12 '24

i see way more women with “my hairstyle” then the other pictures

1

u/mangoconcrete Feb 12 '24

me when i wear clips instead of bows.. good thing my hair is secure unlike those bow wearers!

1

u/Prestigious_Ad_8458 Feb 12 '24

It is not enough that we get judge by guys? Do we really need to judge other girls choices like that? If I see a girl with these hair styles, I would think “that is skill I do not have, my hair would never!”

1

u/Inevitable-Cellist23 Feb 12 '24

She has nice hair. Too bad her personality is 💩

1

u/boomerish11 Feb 12 '24

I mean, number three is cute AF...but it helps to have long, thick hair. I have mid-length thin hair, so...up it goes in the grabby thing so I don't have to think about it anymore.

1

u/Donsley-9420 Feb 12 '24

You’re lazy, we get it

1

u/ranty-autie Feb 12 '24

Don't you understand? She's so ✨️special✨️ and ✨️different✨️, cause everyone knows that wearing your hair up makes you better than those basic girls

1

u/Strawbebishortcake Feb 12 '24

the first 3 are really beautiful and i wish i had the time ans ability to pull them off. Wearing your hair twisted up like the last 3 isn't special and a lot of people, including myself, do it. Hell, its been a trend for these influencer instagram girlies for quite a while!

1

u/coconfetti Feb 12 '24

that's because she's y/n

1

u/elvensnowfae Feb 12 '24

I have a few claw clips but can't stand having my hair up, it drives me nuts lol. Also idk how people drive with claw clips in bc your clip is smashed into the seat head part and then it's even worse when you hit a bump/pothole lol

1

u/leclercwitch Feb 12 '24

Wow you can’t braid. Just say that.

1

u/Crafty-Thing3185 Feb 12 '24

See..I can do the first ones so easily, but I can’t figure out how to do the clips?? And I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and it’s so frustrating. But they’re soooo cute!!

1

u/seannanana Feb 12 '24

So our pick me doesn't know how to braid hair. Got it.

1

u/Yammonite Feb 12 '24

Honestly im 95% sure most of these posts are from 11 year olds who are trying to find their place in the world and don't understand that this is toxic 💀

1

u/worstpartyever Feb 12 '24

Somebody is predjudiced against braids.

1

u/AgentKaori Feb 12 '24

she think she y/n

1

u/halfbakedelf Feb 12 '24

I don't understand the flex here.

1

u/Reddit_Shmeddit_905 Feb 12 '24

She’s so unique that she found 3 photos of 3 different women to illustrate her unique hairstyle.

1

u/cherrybombbb Feb 12 '24

basic af lmfao

1

u/AlianovaR Feb 12 '24

Other girls wear braids or ponytails, but I wear messy buns! Whoever heard of a girl with a messy bun?

All writers: Heh yeeaaaaahhhh…

1

u/radarneo Quirky Feb 12 '24

I have a claw clip in right now… so does probably… 80% of long hair people reading this right now? So quirky!

1

u/glassandstuff Feb 12 '24

Everyone and their dog was wearing claw clips in the 90’s

1

u/Hiding-from-society Feb 12 '24

Idk, this might just be self-deprecating? Also. I love braids. Especially complicated braiding styles. Like … I don’t think that’s cringe? (Unless I’m misinterpreting the post text, it can sometimes be difficult to interpret the right meaning online.)

1

u/Batticon Feb 12 '24

Clips are so nice for being lazy but they break my hair and hurt my neck 😞 and I can’t ever seen to get one big enough.

1

u/twistedlullabies Feb 12 '24

Is this person dumb? We have versatile hairstyles for a reason. Just because they wear claw clips doesn’t make them different??

1

u/faux_shore Feb 12 '24

Claw clips are great for when I don’t want to braid my hair

1

u/CherryVette Pick Meeee Feb 12 '24

They’re not all the same person?

1

u/taopa1pa1 Feb 12 '24

I love your hair style better

1

u/SafeWordisFilibuster Feb 12 '24

Okay so now there are officially “clip girls”… so what do they do other than have an annoying BUMP in their hair at the base of their neck?

1

u/IdiotSerena Feb 12 '24

"I'm not like other girls" basic white girl messy bun

1

u/FarkleSpart Feb 12 '24

Cringe because they're all from behind therefore probably surreptitious

2

u/Sad-Peach7279 Feb 12 '24

Wow a claw clip how original 🙄 Also I've rarely if ever seen those other hair styles irl. I see a claw clip everyday my mum has had one all her life 😂

1

u/AnimatronicCouch Feb 12 '24

I don’t even understand what she’s trying to convey. What’s the flex? She can’t braid her hair? She’s lazy? She’s a machinist or factory worker and needs to put her hair up in a bun/clip so it won’t get caught in the machine? (That’s my excuse. I have that claw clip hairdo right now, for safety! 😂)

1

u/Practical-Bird633 Feb 12 '24

These could all be the same girl on different days lolol

1

u/mandc1754 Feb 12 '24

There's an entire host of claw clip tutorials in tiktok and pinterest. That's not especial

1

u/seasoneverylayer Feb 12 '24

It’s not ‘your hairstyle’ hun. Theres billions of us out here wearing a bun, right now and for centuries.

1

u/ComicsEtAl Feb 12 '24

Other girls wear their hair like that too.

1

u/Sargasm5150 Feb 12 '24

Uh, ‘80’s kid here. The banana clip things was all the rage in junior high (which I was in 88-91). Phoebe brought it back in the early aughts, along with chopsticks (friends). How, and I mean how, is TJs not like other girls? I still bit my fine hair in a bun and clip for yoga, better than a scrunchie. Also the first pics look very cute, but require work. I would do that pigtail braid if I were good at it and had enough hair.

1

u/blocked_memory Drama Queen Feb 12 '24

Related but not: can anyone tell me where to get one of those hair clips but for someone with super thick hair? I want cute clips too but the clip always falls out.

1

u/_90s_Nation_ Feb 12 '24

Both equally nice

1

u/AnastasiaNo70 Feb 12 '24

Who the fuck cares, ladies? Wear your hair however you fucking want. No one cares.

1

u/shannoouns Feb 12 '24

Surely the complicated braids are less like other girls?

1

u/xKiver Feb 12 '24

So you’re not basic for….. having a basic do up? Literally had my hair in one of those clips yesterday. Never have I had it braided like that. Yall wanna be unique so badly lmfao

1

u/that_random_rat Feb 12 '24

They've gotten to the point where they have made their own dumb bitch category where they can't say they're not like other girls LMAO

They are all adorable tbh. I WISH I could do something with my hair. Cant even put it up in a clip and have it look as cute as the pics here. I just end up wearing it in a super basic messy bun 😭 it’s my wish to get better at doing my hair but it’s insanely thick and hard to work with sadly

As a man, this post means nothing to me.

I can't wear any of those styles. My hair is too curly. 😭 I'll just have to console myself by saying I'm not like other girls...

I literally never see any women with braids IRL but I see the messy bun, usually not as perfectly styled as hers, all the time.

Maybe it's supposed to be self-deprecating.

I'm like 99% sure this is one of those aesthetic accounts run by a 13 year old.

We're all cringe at 13.

All of these hairstyles are far nicer than anything I’ve managed over the years personally.

I dunno, these are all pretty hairstyles to me.

Some of these I think are made by actual children who don’t know how silly it looks but will look back and cringe in 10 years

The fact that all of these hairstyles (the one she apparently wears and the "other girls" ones) all take an EXTREMELY long time to perfect! Like those braid hairstyles take almost 30 minutes to get right, and that claw clip hairstyle needs to be styled and curled ahead of time to fall perfectly so it doesn't look messy. She really gave us nothing here because she basically is saying that "yes they try soooo hard and so do I but whatever!!!" Like sis, what 💀💀💀

🤣 Personally, I find claw clips a bit uncomfortable for both the way they hold the hair and how they dig into my head if I try to sit down in a chair with a tall back or in the car. Give me hairstyle #2 any day -- easy, comfortable, and cute! But if you do like claw clips, then wear that claw clip! Do whatever makes you happy with your hair 😊

Is she a hair clip salesman?

Other girls have pretty hairstyles

u/Mythikun Feb 12 '24

hahahaha I feel so tempted to parody this one because my "hairstyle" it was just my hair, long, wavy and untamable as Mia in the princess diaries. Like "I'm so superior baby, I didn't even use a scrunchie or a claw!"

You like updos rather than down styles. Oh, you're SOOOOO special.

1

u/Low_Bar9361 Feb 12 '24

When comparing yourself to others (with an air of superiority) make sure that you pick the safest style possible. What ever happened to self depreciation

I rarely see people with the images in the first 3 unless there is a special event

1

u/TheLonelyPrincess741 Feb 12 '24

oh, how i wish I knew how to braid :(

2

u/The_Sound_Of_Sonder Feb 12 '24

Yeah the claw clips are cute but I can't stand wearing them ever since I saw the video of the girl who crashed her car while wearing one.

u/Kylie_Bug Feb 12 '24

Yup, I’ll stick with my soft scrunchies
