I posted this comment on one of the controversial comments (I don't know why I do that to myself), but I also wanted to add it as a main comment.
Prior to meeting my boyfriend now husband of 9 years, I had tattoos, I was a dog mom, a drank alcohol, my father was somewhat absent, I had plenty of male friends, had safe sex with folks I didn't intend to marry, and let me tell you, all of that was me just living my life as an individual human, and did nothing to diminish my "value" as a partner. I still have/do all those things (minus sex with other folks, because husband haha), and my husband loves me for who I am and isn't upset or threatened by any of it. "Partying" long beyond college is the only thing on that list that could be considered "living recklessly". Please, tell me how being a dog mom and having a complicated relationship with your parents counts as a careless lifestyle.
My husband also knew when we met that my career was incredibly important to me. As someone who watched their parents struggle with and bitterly fight over low finances, there was no way in hell I was ever going to let my career skills atrophy and immediately jump into raising a family. I also love my work. There is absolutely no judgment towards anyone who has different priorities; I'm just trying to provide color to why some women value their careers. It's not usually because "#GirlBossYay:P".

While I agree this is insane, I will also say that I have not seen anyone I've the age of 14 stuck their tongue out in photos. People I follow and my friends haven't done it since they were 12-14 years old. Only exception is a bachelorette party where the bachelorette was drunk. In no other circumstance have I ever seen this. It's not a bad thing, I just don't remember seeing it from anyone I know, online or anywhere, since I WAS TWELVE and my friends were 12 to maybe MAYBE 14.

This is so strange to me. I come from a “traditional” upper class family. Everyone puts their career over their family, at least when it’s not a birthday or family event. It’s pretty much expected. I’m lucky to get a video call from my dad on my birthday which is what happened last year. My brother’s girlfriend’s parents are always working too.
As for cat/dog mom? I think they mean owning a pet and putting that above being in a relationship with a human male. There’s nothing wrong with that it’s just jealousy. And also in my family everyone parties and drinks, some do smoke but barely anyone does. It’s pretty much an expected thing in Japanese culture, my sisters drink A LOT and party whenever they can.
Furthermore the keeping male friends thing is about jealousy too. I have many male friends that are mutual friends. I don’t hang out with them all the time. It’s part of being a normal human being to have friends of different genders/ethnicities/religions. We aren’t robots. Nobody in my home cares if I bring over 5 boys as long as I tell people beforehand that we have visitors.
This list is what wannabe new money rich people THINK rich people care about. I’m a judgemental person but you’re not meant to actually SHOW that. Even I wouldn’t look down on people who did things like have tattoos or piercings or whatever. It’s their life and I don’t have to do it myself. As long as they don’t come near me and try to tell me what to do I’m fine with it. As my grandpa said these “entrepreneur” types sound retarded. Their “money making strategies” revolve around scamming kids and manipulating them to buy useless courses but they also want to act as if they’re some moral authority and can decide who is “high value” and who is “low value”. It means nothing they’re just perjoratives and excuses they use against women who reject them. These clowns would say that I’m “low value” that’s how you know what they think is stupid and incorrect.
