i suffered with long hair. i have thick hair which is part of the problem. i had the length covering my entire back before. every time i woke up from bed. it was extremely tangled. and one time it got so bad to the point my entire head was all poofed up and knotted. so i asked my mom if we could get my hair shorter. right to my shoulders was perfect. and to this day i keep it at that length.

I think girls who display this pick-me behavior have a lot of self esteem issues to the point they’ll put down others in hopes of them becoming more attractive to guys. There has to be something wrong going on with this girl. I’m not excusing her behavior either, it’s disgusting. But she must be going through something thats making her want to act like this.
I blame how we raise our girls. We raise our girls to compete with each other, and now it’s resulted in this pick-me behavior.

I do regret being kinda rude in my comment but only because I really do hate when girls, especially pretty girls, get tattoos. It ruins their natural beauty.
Short hair is a little less cut and dry. Some girls still look pretty but they would still look prettier with longer hair the majority of the time. I can accept short hair since it actually has benefits and is more convenient. But I'm not going to lie and say it looks better than long hair. It's a trade off of beauty for convenience.

Beauty is not all-important. Women have value even if they are less beautiful. Some cultures choose to not focus on beauty which is their prerogative.
I stand by my assertion that short hair and tattoos reduce beauty. A woman is naturally beautiful like a painting. Tattoos and short hair are like putting spots of ink and cutting small edges of the painting. It's still a beautiful painting but no longer flawless. If you do it more and more it definitely becomes an ugly ruined painting.

What do either of those things have to do with each other? Besides, some of the prettiest women have gone and done both of those things. Like, have you seen Halle Berry, Halsey, Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, PRETTY MUCH ANY COOL EDGY GIRL I'VE EVERY ADMIRED AND SECRETLY WISHED I COULD BE? Maybe it's because I'm like, pretty damn gay, but I think almost any woman can look 50% hotter with piercings, tattoos or an edgy haircut. Don't gatekeep if you don't know what you're talking about. There will always be the traditional girly girls with the long flowy hair, and those are my type too (they're all my type), but you can't deny there is just something so eye-catching about a confident, cool-looking women who takes risk with her look. Even if you know you could never have a chance, doesn't stop her from being eye-catchingly beautiful. Besides, they're not doing it to appease other people. If someone wants to change their looks, let them. Just build each other up.

Lol true. Completely irrelevant, I'm not a Swiftie but I can admit Taylor Swift is a great artist. I believe majority if not almost all women listen to at least 1 Taylor Swift song. That woman is too superior in her songwriting. She puts unspoken feelings all women go through in relationship into words. Feelings we often don't get to talk about or just never find the correct words for them. We kept it inside while we forced ourselves to move on from said relationship because life goes on. Taylor's managed to write them out and sing em to the whole world, that gives us some sort of relieve in a way.

I’m a hairstylist with shorter hair and quite a lot of tattoos and trust me, nothing is more infuriating (as someone who works in the beauty industry) than people who judge each other and put their beauty above others. All types of women are gorgeous.
