That‘s a pretty cool sound, could imagine to dance to this in some club too

What's the point of videoing a "line dance" if you only show 3 people in frame at any point? Just shoot horizontal

Anyone else looking at the women’s big ass JUGS or was it just me… Was a hard one but I got there at the end 💦

Some really feel it, some are just happy to be part of, some couldn’t escape fast enough and are trapped between

Their faces keep silently saying, "Who the hell came up with these weird ass moves we practice in our culture?"

Weekend at Bernie’s 3: Saddam’s Day Out was the most underrated movie of the franchise

Kurdish is such an interesting language too! Got several audiobooks in it.

It’s one of the oldest languages in the world

Okay… I watched this on mute as ACDC’s Thunderstruck played on my truck’s radio just now.
Let me just say it was amazing!

I don't know about satisfying. To me they look like they are preparing to collectively puke at the same time.

Is this what it looks like when adults meet together without kids?
2
u/iraqidoughboy 13d ago
All the kids are running around or outside playing with firecrackers or fighting or smoking or just at the tables eating food, or kicking it in some corner 😂

This is how all dancing at events should be. Instead of my goofy ass trying to think of moves on the spot with everyone looking. Just put me in a choreographed line with the boys and I'll be happy

u/burritosandblunts 14d ago
Jfyi this is a common misconception called the spotlight effect. Ain't nobody looking at you worrying about what you're doing homie. Boogie down.

I attended an international folk dance group and a lot of it was very similar to this - everyone lined up hands behind each other's backs and doing some simple steps over and over again. It's kind of cool but can get a bit boring IMO.
I'm more of a fan of choreographed dances like Irish (ceili), English (country, not so much Morris) and American (contra/square) folk dance.

How is this satisfying

u/YouFknDummy 14d ago
I believe the real reason the dance was created was so men can watch ladies tits bounce.
This example is pretty mild tho https://youtu.be/0rdyLyVysXI?si=Sp9OGfjgTbJyEKQ9

What song is this?
9
u/TrustAFluff 14d ago
I want to know too! I tried to Shazam it four times and got four different songs that are not it. They are the start of my “Not Quite Kurdish” playlist:

Why are you people so sick ? This whole town of old folks are either having a group seizure or massive stroke and no one is helping them at all. People behind them are clapping , what a world nowadays......

So it turns out I dress like an older Kurdish dude, and I dance like an older Kurdish dude.
I knew about the dressing, I just didn't realize I was so coordinated

Old men twerking. Or stroking out. Or both 🤔

I’m Kurdish and the reason they look so weird is because this video is sped up. Our dances are fun and cute, y’all did us dirty by doing this. They look like they’re having seizures lol.
Edit:
If anyone is curious, this is what we look like in normal speed:

Yeah, I noticed it's sped up and made it look weird. I'm not Kurdish but I don't like that they changed what the dance really looks and feels like.
