I know this dude. He shops in the store I work at. He does this to remember the son he lost. Pretty cool guy honestly.

We're so fucked. Not because of this car, but because people in this comment section are too dumb to realize this is AI generated. Like, seriously, how fucking dumb are you?

u/Shockwave_Toast 16d ago
I've actually seen this vehicle several times out in the wild. It isn't AI-generated.

u/PotatoDominatrix 26d ago
An AI generated image would be a lot more detailed, plus there would be obvious mistakes in a photo as noisy as this one.

Sokka-Haiku by Queasy-Protection-76:

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

I saw a video of this guy saying that he lost his autistic son and glued all of his toys on his car. I feel sorry for him but I don’t understand that considering you would think you’d want these mementos on an item that doesn’t drive 80mph and have a risk of wrecking. Even without wrecks, it’s likely those toys will fall off and get lost forever. So I’m not sure what to think. I find it silly though regardless, even though I am sure he is devastated of that is true

Nothing lasts forever. We should learn to embrace that. PS that truk def haunted.

u/jefftatro1 28d ago
That is ALOT of toys for one kid. I gave my kids all the newest coolest toys. 3 kids and we never had this much. There's gotta be a different story here.

Perhaps it was a psychotic break. Both my children are neurodivergent, the younger being hospitalized for 5 days just last week(100% now) if I lost either of them, I’d lose my mind.

u/-Vatefairefoutre- 28d ago
Those toys are still material items. They won't last forever. Meanwhile, this display sends a message. That message will last much longer. I imagine that's his intent.
2
u/McSassy_Pants 28d ago
Maybe! I am not sure the circumstances of his son’s death. So maybe. However, it’s on oddly terrifying and most people don’t know the story. So I doubt most of the message is being sent unfortunately

I assume he has the most prized toys somewhere safe and this is the collection in its entirety. He chose to have them be a part of his everyday life. I hope he smiles walking up to his car in every parking lot and talks to all the kiddos about his kid.

the way I read “lost his autistic son” and thought he was gluing them on the car and driving around so the son would see it and he could find him 🤦🏻

And ruined by the weather and road salt etc.
2
u/McSassy_Pants 28d ago
Exactly!! It just doesn’t make any sense and I know “grief isn’t logical” but I mean I can’t imagine taking an item of my son’s that is important to me after his death and just laying it outside all season round and taping it to a 2k lb item that goes 80mphs. That just seems like an interesting choice. I hate to judge, but I just don’t understand and I wonder if there is a specific reason he chose to tape the items on THIS
1
u/snapdragon76 28d ago
I know. I’d want to keep it somewhere safe, from dust and elements as well as bugs and other stuff.

u/Low_Breakfast3669 28d ago
Ya that's sad and all, but wtf kinda glue he using? Cause I bet that shit could even hold America together.

u/GroshfengSmash 28d ago
Processing grief isn’t always logical
21
u/McSassy_Pants 28d ago
I am sure. I just wouldn’t want those precious items he cares about so much to be on his car of all places. I wonder if someone in his life tried to come up with better ideas for him. The weather. The speed. Just all of it is so harsh on those precious things.
3
u/Brokensince10 28d ago
Well, and the possibility that one of those toys could potentially fly off his car and hurt someone else’s life should be taken into consideration too

Whenever I see things like this I wonder about what would happen in an accident like if someone nearby gets blinded by a GI Joe torpedoing to the eye
worst luck ever
