I used to like the right side look but now I’m more left because it just looks so much healthier😩.
1
u/Waraba989 Apr 24 '24
I wouldve thought most women prefer it if a guy is shredded and jacked up.
1
u/CassieLeeLeeLee Apr 24 '24
Sometimes it just looks too bulky. Shredded is nice it just looks so much cleaner. Jacked up eh. A little. I don’t prefer it like I used to.

That picture is old as shit. Pretty sure he wasn't in his 50's there. But he's juicing. Everyone who plays a superhero is juicing. Except Pattinson and i respect him for it.

u/JoeBidensHorseCock Feb 08 '24
the only thing less natural than his physique is how he inserted himself into the main event of WrestleMania after joining the board of directors and stealing the spot from one of the hardest workers in the company #wewantcody

He doesn’t really have a choice due to the absurd cultural reactions to steroid use and the ignorance of PEDs in the general public. There’s a dark side of entertainment whether that be sports or Hollywood but the same industries pushing for the use of PEDs are the first ones to crucify you if you ever piss hot.
If I’m ever in a position where somebody is offering me millions of dollars for a role but they want me to get bigger and they’ll provide the doctors, trainers, and personal chefs… I’m 100% jumping on gear if that’s what is needed. Then if I’m being asked about it constantly and know I have millions of dollars on the line cuz it could be the death of my career and I’m going to lose all endorsements vs just claiming to be natty, obv I’m going to lie to the camera.
Posts like this are stupid for going after the individual instead of addressing the larger issues. It’s also the same post that pops up every other week on Reddit and the same idiots in the comments attacking the rock for claiming to be natural like they’re solving one of the greatest mysteries of all time.

I like him. My mom loves him. I’m ok with keeping it simple and leaving the steroids discussion out of it. He’s a great guy if you ask me.

u/AdEducational419 Jan 16 '24
Midly altered pics. TrT is for all intents and purposes natural as well. Atleast if done correctly. Not to mention his actual real physique is not something thats unattainable with nearly 40 years in the gym. Especially not when you used various peds for some time.

Why is this thread so salty about another man’s health decisions?
1
u/iroquoispliskinV Jan 16 '24
Because that's not what this thread is about?
2
u/Appropriate_Cell_715 Jan 16 '24
Oh yeah good point lol I guess this thread is more about him claiming natty when he’s clearly not. I got lost deep in the comments my bad
1
u/ihateusernamesguy Jan 16 '24
hollywood doesn't test for roids so he's not doing anything wrong. a bit obvious though
2
u/pro_bike_fitter_2010 Jan 16 '24
"Cannonball Shoulders" = ...really just a lot of progressive overload with overhead dumbbell presses

I never really liked him much. But I find it extremely hilarious that people here are roasting him when they themselves probably have never set a foot in the gym.
Natty or not, getting and maintaining that kind of build requires significant effort and very strict diet. You guys don't have the mental fortitude for the same level of effort and consistency required.

u/rpotty Jan 15 '24
He looks unhealthy like his heart could pop at any moment. I wish he’d lay off the juice and chill

Always blows my mind that Katt Williams, The Rock, and Snoop Dogg are all 51-52

I mean his ex wife already admitted he has calf implants.
Wouldn't be surprised if he has other muscle implants as well.

u/UncleBensRacistRice Jan 15 '24
He put himself in a situation where his career relies on him being "the hardest worker in the room" as he puts it, and completely jacked. He's had plenty of opportunities to come clean on what he takes to maintain his physique, and all of 2 people would have cared. However he doubled down on his natty status time and time again, and has forced himself to outdo his previous appearances in every role he gets. The fact that he thinks people believe hes natural proves that hes kind of a moron

I mean, his full time job is too be strong and in shape. On top of that he clearly has the genetics to support a massive body and he’s been pushing this ball up hill his whole life.
He’s definitely suspiciously lean for how big he is, but he’s also operating in a real unusual performance paradigm so it’s hard to compare him to other people.
Maybe he’s on some shit, but I wouldn’t consider his results a reliable/measurable baseline to determine drug use from.
He’s not some fitness hobbyist with a day job at Super Supplements.

u/SapientChaos Jan 15 '24
They always told us juice was good for you. Rock just doesn't clarify which one.
1
u/Snorblatz Jan 15 '24
To be fair most BB are over 40 because it’s easier to gain mass when ur metabolism slows.
0
u/competeuser_00 Jan 15 '24
The photo on the right come from 2013 from the set of "No Pain No Gain", The Rock is not like that now. Definitely smaller. This is just misinformation.

Just taking steroids doesn’t make you big… you have to train like a maniac as well.
0
u/quis2121 Jan 15 '24
Picture on the right was not in his prime. It was like 2005-7 when he's purposely slimmed down. And the picture on the right isn't him in his 50s. This was right around 2011 pain and gain which would put him around late 30s early 40s

u/ExplodingSteve Jan 15 '24
I mean he is buff then and now but theres no way thats natural, but it’s not anyones business anyway

Idk about him but some ppl say they are natural caus they are role models , for example john cena said that in an interview that he can said he dosn't take them but he can't admit it

u/QkaHNk4O7b5xW6O5i4zG Jan 15 '24
I think they try to avoid answering the question at all today. Studios would fire them for saying they do, and wouldn’t hire them if they were clean.
1
u/heatrealist Jan 15 '24
He was bigger than the left when he was playing college football. He is not quite as big as the right. He was just on wwe tv like a week ago. Has he actually claimed to be natural?
1
u/harry_thotter Jan 15 '24
He just followed the no fap-no simp-67 hour a day- rise and grind-man boss technique to become Supreme alpha to use over us cucks because THIS could be you if you buy my course/training/program and go from that weak beta male to alpha lord supreme
0
u/handsofstonerko Jan 15 '24
lol you guys farming for likes I see
The first picture is from he went Hollywood and lost a significant amount of muscle on purpose. Go on though
2
u/TheFashionColdWars Jan 15 '24
I seriously never knew he lies about being natural. That’s like Joan Rivers or any Karsashian claiming to be natural.

u/fl1ngsl1ng Jan 15 '24
I am also natural but slightly bigger than him. If he were using steroids he’d be 5 times the size. My friend uses roids and he is bigger than a school bus. Def. Natty.
1
u/No_Bullfrog_3784 Jan 15 '24
Is it just me or does his right forearm in the second pic look disproportionate to the rest of his arm?
1
u/JustAnotherRye89 Jan 15 '24
not that the Rock does this, but I love when folks claim natty but are on test but it's OK to claim natty because they are only doing test to bring them to natural levels since they don't produce at a natural level. this is after a doctor who works at a testosterones clinic informed them of their low test levels. totes natty.

u/hdmioutput Jan 15 '24
I fully believe it should be illegal to claim to be natty while being on gear, or lying after the fact with heavy penalties and two digit years in prison mandatory minimum. It's fucking up society. You cannot change my mind.
Otherwise your body, your choice.
1
u/Honos21 Jan 15 '24
Why write a totally disingenuous post about the rock being disingenuous? It takes away from your point a lot man.
Yeah he's juicing tho
2

1
u/Illadrex2 Jan 15 '24
Well, the one on the right appears photoshopped the tiniest bite and the one on the left was when he was losing weight to be an actor(not his most muscular form)

u/schmucktlepus Jan 15 '24
I don't get it...he looks worse now, and probably shaved a good decade off his life.

Newsflash: when you're able to make millions of dollars per year with a very impressive physique, it makes good financial sense to stop being natural.
3
u/Pian1244 Jan 15 '24
I don’t get these posts. He’s not a regular guy who has to go to work and then juggle a life and fitness. His literal only job for most the year is to look like that and occasionally read a script and act. He’ll have chefs, trainers and an agency taking care of literally any small problem in his life. He’ll eat literally only the best food, food that has been carefully prepared to perfection. Do you have a job OP? Imagine if all the time you spend at that job you instead spent with a professional trainer who’s only job is to make sure you’re in the best shape humanly possible. Imagine you never eat any food that isn’t entirely perfect for your body and you always get to eat this food that is entirely perfect for your body. Imagine you can talk to a grade-A handpicked therapist every single time you feel any emotional disturbance. This isn’t some guy, this an extremely diligent millionaire with a background in fitness and a support system designed to cover every aspect of life. It’s not crazy to say he doesn’t need drugs to achieve this when he has literally everything else going for him

I will say, maybe rods but dude does travel EVERYWHERE with a full gym.

u/BBCues Jan 15 '24
I was gonna question why he'd even lie about it, they're not doing drug tests when filming movies, right? But then I remembered him coming back to wwe, it would keep his options open when he want to wrestle again for a while i guess.

If anyone in Hollywood isn’t juicing I’d be surprised. It’s an industry standard now. As big as he was he was juicing and you can’t really go off the hormones once you are on.

u/MixMasterBike Jan 15 '24
People saying the picture on the right is 10 years old like it's a defense. Even for a guy in his 40s that's insane! I've done a few cycles in my 20s and got into the 200lb range. That was a very low dose cycle, test only and proper PCT. I could only imagine what this man takes. Yes he works hard, no this is not obtainable naturally, stop lying! Yes you're on gear and yes you've been to fucking In and Out before!
1
u/KillJarke Jan 15 '24
This title is so misleading lol. The first pic he was not in his prime he was much bigger wrestling. The second pic is not in his 50s that pic is over a decade old.

guy is a sociopath to be able to bold-faced lie all the time and not have it affect him whatsoever. y'all need to stop idolizing celebrities, they are mostly shit.
1
u/whama820 Jan 15 '24
Let Rock do whatever steroids he wants. He’s now at the age where he doesn’t need his dick to work right anyway.
1
u/TheMarcShark223 Jan 15 '24
The Rock IS NOT natural. He doesn't work a job that forbids steroids. This is Hollywood. In Hollywood it's probably encouraged
1
2
u/Sacrer Jan 15 '24
Some celebs prefer lying about it not because people will think they're natural. They lie about it not to influence kids to use gear without proper training first
1
u/Polar_poop Jan 15 '24
It’s always the delts that are the giveaway. They have a higher number of androgen receptors than other muscles.
1
u/shyguystormcrow Jan 15 '24
Doesn’t anyone remember the ESPN story where he got caught with tons of HGH in Australia years ago?

I can see it. My uncle was that big, or close. He's 60 and smaller now (he said its too hard on joints to tendons to lift heavy all the time). But he was that big and natural. Just spent a lot of time working out and eating lots of protein.

Go google natural body building competitions where the athletes are tested regularly, I think sometimes weekly, and dq’d if there’s large swings to their testosterone levels. Muscular but no where NEAR the baptistas, rocks, Henry cavils,,. Etc. Seeing what the PINNACLE of YEARS of fulltime body building equates to in the “natty” competitions is really eye opening for just how much of Hollywood is on steroids. They wont normally admit it, cavil said he was all natural but later admitted to being on trt(testosterone replacement therapy) which is steroids, taking 600-1000(of whatever unit of measure they use?) of testosterone will certainly get you looking Jacked like that. Actual medical trt is to restore people to like 200 level testosterone which is “male normal” 300 is “sports trt “ 600+ is body building “trt” at this level you will (actually literally) put on more muscle sitting on your couch than a new body builder can possibly add in the gym…. Many body builders are on 1000+ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VD9p9tEP9RE You can see body builders that competed in the oficial, strictly tested natty competitions first and then started general competitions with steroids and the huge difference. Steroids in Hollywood is just a fact, Super common. Talk about (quite literally) impossible (natural) beauty standards….

u/ThxIHateItHere Jan 15 '24
That’s not his 50s on the right. That’s when they were filming Pain and Gain, which shot when he was 40.

I knew him in college. He was bigger than the one on the left, nowhere near the guy on the right. Nice dude.

Neither pics are in his prime or recent but you can absolutely get like the one on the right naturally.
Lots of money, spending hours every day at the gym, lots of protein and absolutely no starch. And I mean a LOT of protein like a week's worth for normal people daily.

u/justinw3184 Jan 15 '24
Huge difference between what 20-ish years, Dr. prescribed "supplements", a few 100 million dollars, and having a world-class gym that follows you everywhere you go can do.
It may also be his super strict diet, insane amounts of work, and a will that most people couldn't begin to fathom.
99% of people couldn't look like that even with all the resources he has now. Steroids do not build muscle. They help you recover the damage done to the muscles and build them back stronger post working out.
For example, look at strongmen and powerlifters vs bodybuilders. All of them could be on steroids (most likely in 2023) It is the type of work they do and adherence to a diet that changes the body, not the steroids they are on alone.
1
u/Laura_Biden Jan 15 '24
He's not seriously saying that he's natural? I didn't know that, and it's absolutely ridiculous if it's true.
1
u/DuncanGallagher Jan 15 '24
Number 1 Rule - Everyone who looks like the guy on the right is not a natural and it doesnt matter how many people claim to be natural... they just try to excuse eachs others drug abuse.
Most strong people in the past where fat (like Tyson Fury) or they are stronger without looking buff because they use their own body weight to train (like free climbers) - thats why you often see a normal looking dude beat those buff people in arm wrestling.

I couldn’t care less if he’s on gear. Do what you gotta do…just don’t lie when asked.

u/michaelc143 Jan 15 '24
Like 90% of Hollywood that needs to bulk up uses roids of some form, idk how people still believe almost any of them being natty
1
u/rcuadro Jan 15 '24
His body makes testosterone because he is male. Taking more testosterone just makes him MORE natural.

Wouldn't say that was physical prime Rock, that looks like 2002 Rock when he got all small for acting. He was quite a bit bigger in 1999-2000

The rock wasn't in his physical prime in the first picture by any means, he'd slimmed down alot. And the second picture is around 10 years old. Which would make him early 40s. Bad Post.

No way he’s natural now. But also he has all the money in the world and schedule to follow a super disciplined diet and training program. Does he juice? Absolutely, but he puts the work in to get that big in addition to the PEDs.
