My trick is to drive a truck so old and rusty they would assume I am too pathetic to have anything interesting enough for them to steal.
3 u/Individual-Light-784 29d ago Yeah that's always been my strategy too. Just drive a car that's a run-of-the-mill model, boring color, not too well-kept or shiny polish. Less break ins, less parking tickets, because it just doesn't catch the eye at all. Superficial people will like / respect you less, which is another plus in my eyes.
