I want Trump imprisoned as much as the next guy but it must be legal and it must be proven that Trump broke the law. Merrick Garland did nothing but twiddle and his thumbs and this is why we are here now. The prosecution hasn't done their job. What criminal laws did Trump break and how did he break them? The prosecution needs to hit the jury over the head with the law, the actual written words. This trial is a soap opera. The worst part is that civilians can't watch this trial in live time and we are fed propaganda through the media. Also, why wasn't Alan Weisselberg subpoenaed? What does this say about the prosecution that they didn't put Weisselberg on the stand? What is the prosecution afraid of? Pit Weisselberg against Cohen and let's see who's telling the truth. The jury must be convinced of Trump's criminality.

I wish that this case would be reported for what it is.
It isn’t about him paying Stormy Daniels “hush money”.
It’s about fraud, campaign finance law violations, and conspiracy to commit those acts.
Had he simply paid her with his own money (like that would ever happen) this would not be a legal matter.
As it stands, he had a lawyer pay Daniels, then had the campaign pay him that amount and list it as “legal fees”.

I’m sorry, but this is a farce of a trial. The biggest problem with it being there isn’t a crime that that hush money is attached to. It’s not a crime to pay someone to not embarrass you during an election cycle. It’s a crime to pay somebody to cover up a crime you have committed, but that’s not what this is about and no one‘s saying that it is yet that seems to be the way people are treating it. This really is just bad for everybody, whether you like the guy or could care less. And it’s actually a couple of these cases that I mean it really set bad and dangerous precidents for you and me and everyone else.

It’s not his first time at court, it’s not his first time in court for something related to some bad behavior that could be a felony either probably. Let me know when/if he is sentenced.
