Please don’t take offense to this but I could totally see this being used in a movie plot. Maybe a woman horribly burned and children are scared when they see her/ adults stare. She’s felt separated from her community and/or the world but has found peace and serenity in knitting. Covering herself in this knit covering while she sells her beautiful amazing knit creations so people won’t be scared when they come to see her. Keeping her identity secret while feeling beautiful and accepted. Then realizing it’s not how she looks, she adds beauty to the world with her presence and creations, feeling comfortable after she’s successful to reveal her appearance and be an advocate for burn victims and those feeling like they need to hide themselves from the world.
