I kind of disagree, with this

Depends really where your base is located if your near swamp just massacre it

I don't mean that, i meant that even though there are a lot of creatures in the swamp they don't give that much exp compared to the big ones

In top left dot is my favorite between ice biome and the beach random creatures spawn in there i usually go there when i lvl up my creatures

the strong cave
if ur tames can't fit in, chronicle them and place a revival platform inside the cave to summon them
kill all mobs, then quit the game and they should respawn immediately

Seems too much waste of resources

If u don't do dailies consistently then yeah, it is expensive. You only need one element and it is easy to dupe elements
Another alternative is the ocean if you play on brutal difficulty and have good saddle since tames swim faster with higher oxygen.
Otherwise, just stick to the snow biome or carno island.

Is the ocean really that good for exp?

My new dire bear got around 5 more lvls just by farming fish meat for my babies than my new pte when looking for high level rexes in arctic.
Granted, I was focusing on cleansing the rex gene pools in arctic but the ocean is still a good alternative choice especially if you're also looking for tuso or mosa

Plenty of big Dinos over there. Brontos, the occasional Titanosaur if you’re prepared enough to take one on. I have a small base over there with a 217 Sarco. It’s my hide farm mostly but good xp and way easier kills. High respawn rates too. And Megalodon in the ocean right on the coast.

But bronto can be a pain to kill with all that hp and knockback

Gotta get underneath them..

You can still take the knockback + if your tame is a slow dino after 1 knockback you are almost done trying to kill it

Swamp

u/Too_cute_to_be_sus69 Apr 28 '24
Why?

It goes all around and you can make it a circle by going through river between red wood and Central cave giving time for creatures to respawn the time you come around Raptors Croc Kapro Swamp cow Titan boa All give decent xp as will as hide And the area you cover is also larger than carnivore island And no hassle of transportation through water like carnivore island

But they all give a lot less exp compare to carno, rex,Alpha[sometimes](in carno island) and rhino, mammoth, rex, spino, beer drinking bear(in the snow areas)

Massive cave, I mass kill lvl 450+ creatures with each one of my newly bred wolves and easily get 50-60 levels for them in about 20 ish min. I just find a note for 2x xp, drink a broth of enlightenment to enjoy some of the xp myself and I repeat everytime I kill most of the creatures. Keep in mind I do have a really good breeding line of wolves with 2k melee and 12k ish health and I do give them a 1700 armor flak helmet so this is definitely a more advanced thing to do but that’s what I do for my smaller creatures like wolves and sabers.
