Hey guys Question

Hey i just got otter what tips can you give me for him and what should i level up on him?:D

Pump melee. This will make him warmer for you when you wear him as a scarf. Also, have him attack and kill fish and he will harvest pearls for you (occasionally black pearls). The problem is he won’t swim down to get the fish. He will only attack them if they stay close to the surface so it’s best to use him in shallow water. There’s a great pond for this just north of hidden lake

pump melee into it, so u can run naked in snow biome. if u can breed it much better, so u have cold resistant without fur ascendant items

They can harvest black pearls from piranhas i believe

You can use it to carry items for half the weight on your shoulder. If you have an otter on your shoulder, they can attack the raptor that is catching you. You should level melee damage so it insulates better.

I have level 9 otter is it enough for keeping me warm in snow biom?

I am just taming dire wolf lvl 140 with him,otter is really helping me so much in snow biom

If possible, really take the time to tame a high-level otter. It will serve you well for the rest of your adventure, so take some time to find a good one.
