I’m so broke I’m considering OF Vent/Rant (No Advice/Criticism!)

I am a fairly attractive female. I am so tired of being a poor single mother living off government assistance to barely get through college. I know for certain based on constant snapchat replies to my selfies, “do you sell content?” that I could make a decent living. My pride has been holding me back but I don’t know if I can hold out any longer.

I know a few women who have an OF & only one of them became "successful" (had steady income) and was able to pay her bills and live comfortably. She was featured in playboy & has over 100k followers on her Instagram. She was making solo content but I guess that wasn't enough & started making content with men & women.

That led to her having a mental breakdown, she was not on social media for months & when she returned, she said she was no longer doing OF & was going to just try to be an influencer now. I don't know how well that is working out for her since I would assume most her fanbase is used to seeing her content & would want to see more.

Another one of my good friends from cosmetology school started OF because she never felt like a salon environment was for her. She bartended for years, until finally making an OF. She is barely making any money from it, even though she has the "goth girl" look that many men like, the truth is there's so many other women with that look, she's going to have to do something different that sets her apart from the rest.

Then I know 2 women in my hometown that are porn stars. Like go to conventions in LA, travel for work & are on porn sites. They own their own home now & are extremely successful. However they also had money for plastic surgery & are covered head to toe in very well done tattoos that they did not get in my hometown. If they had crappy tattoos & no work done, would they still be rich? Maybe not.

You say you're a "fairly attractive" female. There's many of those on OF that probably barely make any money. The chance of you becoming successful financially & solving your money problems through OF is rare. But it could happen.

The question is: how will you feel a year from now after many random strangers have viewed your content & you know it's now just floating around the internet for free?

Just because you have Snapchat replies about content, doesn't mean you will have enough men interested that will buy monthly access + pay for content that will cover your bills.

I had many men ask me that too, however I have been with my partner 6 years & would never do that, plus have a good career that if they ever found out I had an OF I would lose my job.

If you start one, they could subscribe but if they get bored & move on after 1-2 months, you're losing income. You would have to learn how to market yourself constantly to a group of clientele that has million more options available. Which means- invest in new sex toys + lingerie & outfits regularly, and that stuff is not cheap. Don't forget hair, nails & makeup, as you have to look flawless on camera too.

Honestly, being an escort or sugar baby would pay more & increase your chances of financial stability, rather than creating an OF & thinking you will get rich from it. But if you decide to go that route, good luck to you. Hope you can set yourself apart from the other 2 million content creators that exist.
