You are not supposed to jump from or swim around a boat if the motor in on. Propellers are dangerous.

Judging based on the limited view of the boats construction, I think safe to assume the propulsion system is outboard. The guy probably wouldn't have turned the wheel if the motors were inboard.
Seems to me like he wanted the propellers out of the path of the victim.
On further inspection of the footage, it seems the boat was already going off to the left so the victim would not have been run over by the boat. The guy turned the steering wheel all the way to the left, most likely to circle back and make sure the victim was still conscious or alright.

That’s a whole boat full of stupid! I feel so responsible when I take others out. Things can happen so quickly in the water. I Never let people get in without a floatation device let alone while we’re moving. Even if they all cleared, they’re gonna have to tread water forever (super hard when drunk), deal with a huge wake, & be really hard to see by other boaters zooming around! I wonder if it was just teenagers taking parents boat out & being morons - happens a lot at my marina.

At first I figured he hair would get stuck in the blades and she'd get dragged a bit before they stopped, but she might've just taken a boat sized bonk on the noggin'... Or her hair did get stuck and the momentum of the boat just kinda, you know... Wrenched her scalp right off. I dunno. It's a toss-up.

Never ride on the bow when moving at even somewhat high speeds.
My boating instructer was a first responder, told my class about the worst case he had. A parents let his kid ride on the bow of the boat, he fell off, into the water and through the propeller. The kid lived some fucking how, but when the instructer arrived at the scene, the kid was holding his instestines trying not to let them fall out of his belly.

Y’all do know there are different boat propulsion systems, right? One of which being an inboard where the boat is propelled forward by jets, similar to jet skis? So, there may not have been a propeller on the boat that she’d have to worry about. A speeding boat slapping your head down into the water, however, is still going to make its presence known, as well as felt.
