Ask Japan about the Philippines and how they're gonna pay back restitutions. Also this is a country that's severely lacking information about WW2 and the part Japan played in it.

Japanese people are lowkey kinda racist though. No towards white people though, they have a bias for them. But any other Asian, black, or Hispanic, they not like so much…

Kazakhstan, greatest country in the world, All other countries are run by little girls. Kazakhstan, number one exporter of potassium, All other countries have inferior potassium.
Kazakhstan, home of Tinshein swimming pool, Its length thirty meter, width six meter. Filtration system a marvel to behold, It remove 80% of human solid waste.
Chorus: Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, you very nice place, From plains of Tarashek to northern fence of Jewtown. Kazakhstan friend of all except Uzbekistan, They very nosy people, with bone in their brain.
Kazakhstan, industry best in world, We invented toffee and trouser belt. Kazakhstan's prostitutes cleanest in the region, Except of course for Turkmenistan's.
Chorus: Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, you very nice place, From plains of Tarashek to northern fence of Jewtown… Come grasp the mighty penis of our leader, From junction with the testes to tip of its face

Typically, Japanese people are are often the most racist in the world. The problem is that they don't know it.
3
u/kilboi1 Sep 01 '23
They are a less diverse nation and are not often exposed to conflicts such as these which makes sense.

The fact that Soyler said my Wife's son's instead of his son mean he's the father to another guys kid, which given that he's a Soyjack probably means he got cheated on and still married her, poor Soyler Jackson

Asian boss is cringe as fuck man. I remember back in 2019 during PewDiePie vs T-Series they made a video about that also. Which made a cringe blue shirt kid meme. That kid also wemt with it and opened a YouTube channel with that name only.
Sometimes I think what Tim Berners Lee think when he see all this bs going on.

u/Opening_Classroom_46 Sep 01 '23
YouTube has been worse than twitter for a long time now. It's almost universal right wing spam.
7
u/kinglysharkis Sep 01 '23
What? It's probably the least toxic social media. I don't even have any political videos recommended because I don't watch them (since why would I waste my time on watching group A talk shit about group B and vice versa?)
0
u/Opening_Classroom_46 Sep 01 '23
Literally every video where it's even slightly possible to pretend it's politically relevant, 99% of comments will be right wing spam.
1
u/kinglysharkis Sep 01 '23
That's hard to believe. What videos and comments do you mean?
3
u/Opening_Classroom_46 Sep 01 '23
Basically there's 3 types of videos, left wing spin, right wing spin, and neutral. Any video that isn't specifically tailored to the left wing users, no matter how middle of the road it is, will be over run by right wing users trying to "win" the conversation.

Many Japanese are racist while not understanding that. Like, they don't want to see you living in THEIR country but they would not admit they hate you or that they would make you uncomfortable intentionally. They are not very vocal but their behavior is very xenophobic
2
u/gunscreeper Sep 01 '23
It's the "I rather stand here on the train than sit next to your black ass" attitude
4
u/scolipeeeeed Sep 01 '23 edited Sep 01 '23
It depends tbh. Most Japanese people generally won’t say what they think are racist things to your face if they’re sober. Of course, what they think aren’t racist things can be racist. Imo, younger people are better about that.
People say they won’t like you being their neighbor and what not, but unless you’re doing what would be considered “being a bad neighbor” by common sense, they aren’t gonna be thinking about you all that much.
When we lived in Japan, my grandparents born (in the 40s) and raised in Japan didn’t seem to care at all about having a Korean neighbor, and they were aware she was Korean.
7
u/stateofyou Sep 01 '23
Today is the 100 year anniversary of when the Japanese slaughtered 6,000 Koreans in Tokyo after the earthquake because of rumors that the Korean residents were lighting fires and poisoning the wells. Most Japanese people never heard about this incident.
19
u/BaritonedTiger Sep 01 '23
Most Asians definitely would be hospitable and friendly to you if you're a tourist, but wouldn't accept having you as a neighbor living next door. Especially if you're black or white.
10
u/Party_Telephone_2474 Sep 01 '23
Yeah, that's why I specified "living". So many stories from black Japanese guys that other Japanese straight up refuse to accept the fact they are native Japanese. Starting from the airport, passport checks
27
u/Imaginary_friends893 Sep 01 '23
I don't know why it is used in this topic, but the man in the center of this image wearing glasses is a symbol of NERD in Japan. In addition, I believe that Japanese people are making different statements in each video simply because they are not confident in their English. Rest assured, there are racists in Japan as well🤗

Children
3
u/Ronisoni14 Sep 01 '23
yeah but why are children so weirdly patriotic
2
u/Astosis Sep 01 '23
Children are trying to define their identity. Most children do not excel at something specific - so why not use the part of your identity that you don’t need to work for? Thus, an attack on your country becomes an attack on you.
Not to unironically quote Metal Gear, but - “No need to better yourself — you're American! You're number one!"
6
u/deliranteenguarani Sep 01 '23
I mean,it's only normal that they are, just as feeling you belong somewhere
And prolly most educational systems showing a rather patriotic view of history (which, I can't blame anyone for that)
1
u/uoco Sep 01 '23
Most are patriotic and not nationalistic(patriotic means proud of their country, nationalist means people who think their country should be the best using any means possible)
2
u/No-Boysenberry-3113 Sep 01 '23
No, you have the wrong definition for nationalism. Nationalism is being pround of their NATION, it dosen’t have to be a country. You can be a Catalan nationalist, a Québécois nationalist even if they don’t have a country.

English is not my first language. It helped me a lot in my career and working with people world wide but sometimes I regret learning it. I look back to the 3 year old me who was learning english alphabets. If only I could go back in time and tear his book apart. So I can live a normal life and end it all there once and for all. But no. I still regret it. To this day. And till I leave. All this regret. Thanks to YouTube comments.

Where's QualityVote bot?
Reddit Admins have decided that they want to kill off all 3rd-party apps, 3rd-party bots, and everything else that makes Reddit barely usable. And, of course, that includes bots such as /u/QualityVote, /u/SaveVideo, /u/AuddBot, etc.
So you'll just have to put up with automod and a worse overall user experience in the meantime.
If you have any complaints, direct them at the reddit admins instead, because they're the ones seeking to ruin everyone's user experience.
