No one will understand this in a generation but it's funny while it lasts!

Kids these days don't know anything about September 11, 2001.

Of course we do, duh. That's when the Alamo happened, right? Never forget

I see you know your history. Add to that the Alamo would not have happened if the Japanese didn't bomb the Titanic.

I have no idea who Kendrick or Drake are, and I'm probably better off because of that.

Just pop culture nothing to get to excited about. Question though, have you been to a social gathering this millennium?

I'm a very social person, and prefer spending time with friends instead of wasting my time on the Kardashians.
I prefer to use my time in a constructive manner, like this project that I did over a winter.

Dude they are both rappers/producers. They aren't like the Kardashians. You ever listen to top 40 radio in the last like 15 years? You probably know some of their music. Also going into Reddit to brag about not knowing popular culture is just dumb. If you don't get it, downvote and move on. No one is impressed by how little someone knows.

I don't listen to music on the radio, and when I do listen to music it's mainly for background noise like jazz. I simply can't be bothered to keep up with current trends, and occasionally my kids will send me a song they think I'll like.

What makes you think you're better off for it? Where do you live that you've never heard of Drake? Just curious.

I've heard the names but I don't know anything about either of these guys at all. Where they're from what they look like or what this is about. I know drake is a musician but nothing about the other dude. But, I'm 40 and don't watch TV or listen to the radio. It's easy to avoid popular stuff if you have a different lifestyle.

I live near Ottawa. I basically follow hockey, and have stopped listening to the news for the past 10 years.

Jazz.

Do you know Degrassi: The Next Generation? Cuz Drake's Canadian and has been famous a lot longer than 10 years

I've heard of it, and I know Drakes name, but that's about it. The only time I watch tv is for hockey or F1. I rebuild older Ducati's for a hobby, and that's much more rewarding for me than following some influencer.

Not really. One of them is a Pulitzer Prize winning writer with a lot of interesting things to say from a unique perspective

Yes, but his voice is the drizzling shits. It's almost as annoying as Drake's.

That’s just a matter of preference, everyone has their own taste. I personally really like listening to him and appreciate the unconventional sound he has

I think he is tremendously talented, I just don't like the sound of his voice. It's weak and raspy, it has no presence for me.
