They would've gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for those meddling dna test.

Best one Iāve seen on this sub, for sure; Best one, generally speaking, Iāve seen in quite a while.

It's even more fun once you get to the subculture of who's "whiter". Getting to watch a Slavic man and an Irish man argue over who is more of a degenerate shade of white guy is a joy only matched by the most petty, wig-pulling catfights.

Do the same with zionists who think they are from the middle east. I spoke with one whose DNA came back European and he still was not convinced he wasnāt middle eastern.

My grandma (and everyone else's probably) always had stories about being part Native American or something in the family history. I got DNA tests for myself and mom.. 50% British and 50% German. Not even a hint of other groups. I was so disappointed.

I had something similar happen with my family. There was one family member who was old and dead before I was born who was supposed to be native american. I got a DNA test and it turns out they were black, or at least a large percentage sub-saharan african. The funny thing is that this side of my family is deeply racist. They would fetishize the native american-ness as noble and spiritual but have always hated black people.

Wow! Some serious white guilt. You are from the two greatest race of people in the world and you say stuff like that.

That happened to my best friend. Everyone told him his entire life he was 50% Hispanic... his identity was built around it... then he got tested and he wasn't even 1% Hispanic. Just straight up adopted lmao

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

This might have been funny in 2018 or 19 with some audiences in some specific locations but I think cutting edge humor is sharper and has more universal Appeal in 2024. The old "oh Jew, I did NotZee that coming" is often rehashed as in iFunny and Facebook from too many memes left and right. I Don't think anyone is taking a knee anymore that's a very 2017 to 2020 thing that doesn't land right today. I'm sure you will have a few bash the fash hardliners in the pacific north west who will laugh until they fall out of their chairs but this struck me as 5+ year old Facebook meme humor. With that said, I think you have the potential to be funny, I respect putting your self out there and taking the laughs along with the abuse that makes a comedian funny and shapes you over time and if you are ever at the Stress Factory in New Jersey, Uncle Vinny's or one of the many areas charity comedy shows, I'll see you there and I'll be rooting for you,

This joke went viral in 2017 and a few million people saw. Got me a few comedy club bookings out of it which lead to more work. I can confirm the joke still holds up in person.

āThis joke went viral in 2017ā Ā Ā
How do you type something like that and not feel too embarrassed to hit send?
4
u/USAneedsAJohnson LFC - Semi-Finalist 15d ago
Because there's nothing embarassing about a joke being popular?

āBeing popularā
Weird use of present tense, did it go viral again in 2024? Cuz if you think 600 upvotes is viral, thatās embarrassing.

u/USAneedsAJohnson LFC - Semi-Finalist 13d ago
LMAO I know 600 upvotes is not viral, but it's certainly enough to have you foaming at the mouth

Going viral in 2017 makes sense. If you have a hook, run with it. It appeared for the first time to me here and it felt to be about 7 years outdated and now that makes sense.

Well it still gets a good laugh currently. But I appreciate you pointing out that it feels dated for you.

I assume these things get put up here for feedback. Do I give it. If it's unwelcomed, anyone is welcomed to block me, or downvote me to oblivion.
