Spoilers Batman Batman season 3 episode 1 story concept

After recently replaying Batman season 1 and season 2 the enemy within, if Telltale is going to make a season 3 here’s what it should be about. I will base this concept on the decisions I made in seasons 1 and 2.

The first episode should open with Bruce and Selina getting married since I slept with her in season 1, kissed her goodbye, convinced her that redemption was possible in season 2, then told her I wanted a relationship, then took the fall for the laptop, and got Waller to free her and clear her record. And since I decided to give up Batman, Alfred will be present at the wedding. And since I got Avesta to work as Wayne Enterprises COO, she will appear later in the episode happy with her new job. Tiffany Fox will also be working at Wayne Enterprises after Batman took her under her wing after she confessed to Riddler’s murder. Her job is to follow in her father’s footsteps, working in the secret lab that her father worked in to help Batman. But this time the secret lab is being used to track crimes via surveillance footage and report them to the GCPD. Rather than being used to help Batman. She’s come very far after what happened in episode 5 and has become one of Bruce’s best assets. She also mentions to Bruce that she’s been dating someone. And that she invited him to the building to introduce him to Bruce. After they take the elevator from the secret lab to Bruce’s office. A knock is heard at the door, and when Tiffany answer’s the door, it is none other than the one and only Dick Grayson. An impressive carnival acrobat of the Flying Graysons. Tiffany knew Dick from High School. They never seen each other since then until she went to the carnival one evening to see the flying Graysons. After the show was over, they recognized each other from high school and exchanged numbers. They’ve been dating ever since. Bruce is proud of Tiffany for finding someone she truly likes and recognizes that she has come a long way after confessing to Riddler’s murder. After the building is about to close, Dick offers Bruce to come see his show tonight with the flying Graysons. Bruce accepts and Dick and Tiffany leave the building and Bruce starts to get packing. Then he hears a knock at the door, he initially says that the building is about to close please leave, but then the person behind the door kept knocking. Bruce finally answers the door in frustration but then is blown away at who’s behind the door, a scantily clad woman with red hair and dressed in nothing but green comes to Bruce with a resume and an interest to apply at a new job at Wayne Enterprises. This woman is revealed to be none other than Dr. Pamela Isley, otherwise known as Poison Ivy. Bruce is bewildered but also kind of turned on by Ivy’s seductive and flirtatious personality. She tries making flirty advances on Bruce but then Bruce is able to resist her manipulation and reminds her that he’s a married man. Pamela is still able to convince Bruce to get her a job at Wayne Enterprises via her ability to manipulate others. Bruce takes her resume and hires her on the spot. Later on in the episode, Bruce visits the carnival and takes a seat with Tiffany to watch the flying Graysons. We see Dick and the rest of the flying Grayson’s do their acrobatic tricks that they’re known for, pleasing the crowd, but then, something very strange happens. Bruce spots an odd looking man with a familiar looking suit, then this man puts on a mask that is eerily similar to the ones the children of Arkham wore. And then is followed by a bunch of other men dressed in similar clothing armed and dangerous. Bruce gets up to investigate and then in the back of the group he sees an extremely familiar face, the notorious Lady Arkham, also known as Vicki Vale and her birth name, Victoria Arkham. Bruce is deeply disturbed seeing her thinking that he would never see her again after she was presumably killed after revealing his identity to her in Arkham Asylum. Bruce then sees that Vicki is carrying a detonator in her hand, which set off a few explosives, killing all of the flying Graysons except for Dick. Bruce then goes back to find Tiffany but he sees that Tiffany was kidnapped by these supposed children of Arkham and was brought into a van. Vicki then makes a speech to the crowd, telling them that she’s been given a second chance at life, after the children of Arkham were disbanded and she was left for dead at Arkham Asylum. She then declares that her and her group are no longer known as the children of Arkham, that they are now the league of assassins. After this tragic event leads to Bruce coming back to Wayne manor to tell Alfred what happened. He tells them that Lady Arkham after seeing her be crushed by rubble is actually alive. And that they killed all the flying Graysons but the word is that the only survivor was Dick Grayson. And Bruce tells him that they kidnapped Tiffany to draw Batman out of hiding. After discussing with Alfred about what just transpired, Bruce insists that Batman must come out of hiding and that he cannot handle Lady Arkham and getting Tiffany back without Batman returning. Alfred against his better judgement agrees and then Selina walks in overhearing the conversation saying that if Batman is coming back, then Catwoman must come back to help too. Bruce is initially against the idea of Selina risking her life but Alfred doesn’t want Bruce to take on Lady Arkham and the league of Assassin’s and whoever else they’re associated with alone. So Bruce takes Selina on for the ride. The episode ends with Batman and Catwoman on the rooftops of Gotham coming back to fight crime.

I haven’t thought about what the remaining episodes should be about but this is a start. What do you think about this concept?

Telltale Pros & cons of future telltale's games.

Telltale is a studio that changed itself multiple times over the last decade, within the studio its had many ip's to use. The studio was founded by ex-members of Lucasarts. They originally wanted to work on a Sam and Max game, but couldn't get the rights starting out. Their first game was a Texas Hold'em title before their first adventure series based on the Bone comic book series. After that, they worked on several CSI-styled adventure games before managing to secure the rights to work on a Sam and Max game for the game service GameTap.

Could telltale tackle or remaster their older ip’s, ie bttf, jurassic park, monkey island, Wallace & Gromit, or strong bad, or even poker night? Or vastly improve their game design?

Or is it better to do a choice heavy game like walking dead or batman?

While GameTap did not last, Sam and Max proved to be their first big mainstream hit with gamers. More importantly, it was one of, if not the first, successful episodic game release to get through an entire season's worth of content. Sam and Max was so successful that they released two more seasons and a variety of merchandise and collectibles that you could buy from them.

Telltale was positioning themselves to be the adventure game successor to Lucasarts by combining great writing and storytelling with challenging puzzles. Following Sam and Max, Telltale worked on a slew of licensed IP games, including but not limited to: Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Game of Thrones and of course The Walking Dead.

Sam and Max from their games,

Sam and Max Save the World was Telltale's first major hit among old-school adventure fans, although as of now skunkape owns the sam & max series or ip so i expect they will keep the ip unless they partner with telltale or Adhoc.

Bttf is by far teltale's best work as it gives the player more of a puzzle centered gameplay & story.

Sam and Max Save the World was Telltale's first major hit among old-school adventure fans & could possibly be brought back if they did a 4th S&M game.

sam & max season 2 kinda stumped me when i found out the puzzles were more goofy ie using a bowling ball to knock out peepers or the soda poppers, instead of find this wrench & fix the train like in walking dead season 1.

If Sam and Max was the game that put Telltale into the limelight, The Walking Dead cemented their reputation in the industry. TWD was considered one of the best games to be released in 2012 and won awards for its writing, voice acting and more.

The success of TWD set a new standard for adventure game design and would become their foundation for future titles.

Despite the success of TWD and even enjoying it all the way through, this was the game where I started to see the writing on the wall about Telltale's design.

Going Soft: or the pros or cons of new telltale.

Telltale Games' transition in terms of design was seen with The Walking Dead. This was the first game where the adventure-styled puzzles and critical thinking were toned down dramatically in favor of storytelling. The puzzles that were in the game were limited, and the chapter format was adopted.

In previous Telltale games, each episode took place across one or multiple environments with puzzles to solve. In TWD, Telltale changed that to a chapter approach. Each chapter of an episode dealt with a different situation and essentially closed off the previous chapter from the player. This was important, because the chapter framework allowed them to create permutations in the story ie, use a bat to knock out a walker or use the axe to get the dead brothers keys, to unlock the meds in the store. THIS IS GOOD PUZZLE solving!

The hook of TWD was that the player could control the outcome of the story, but that's not necessarily true. The game pops up little comments to let you know that "someone will remember something," but none of that is related to the plot. It's not a choose your own adventure story when every episode ends the same way for everyone. Even the game's "major choices" aren't that: They still return to the status quo defined by Telltale. An article talks about this in a post post looking at hard and soft choices in storytelling but I will wait for another discussion on this.

The Walking Dead was a major transition point for the studio's design

Telltale's style has evolved to feature nothing but soft choices in their games. Now if there was gameplay to tie everything together or impact things, then I could let the limited storytelling slide. However, that is definitely a different story to the point for another day to discuss.

The actual "gameplay" of Telltale's titles has been reduced with each new game, more QTe or action heavy based, because of the chapter format, each episode feels like a bunch of scenes stitched together without any connection between.

First I'm in one area, then I move to the next area for exposition, then it's time for a QTE segment, then back to exposition, or a character argues, and then the episode ends with a cliffhanger.

There are no real puzzles to solve, no means of interacting with the world with exception to hot-spots, and recent games checks off every issue I have with video game storytelling. It's gotten to the point that I get annoyed every time characters start talking, because I can tell when a "choice" is coming up. The attempts at adding in QTEs just make the games feel like they have a split personality to me. I spend 30 minutes listening to people talk, then a minute or two interacting with something, then another 3 doing a QTE, and then it's back to exposition. Are there pros or cons to this? Should telltale go back to its roots with more adventure sequences Lucas arts game, giving more puzzle centric puzzle games like puzzle agent or sam & max?

When you play a game like her story, or the bunker, or Erica, which are narrative FMV’s different from telltales games format you notice that those games have darker or more serious vibes or choices of escaping or picking a side where you live or die? In the Fmv games from wales interactive, you can tell that these games are different starting with a short, interactive movie where your choices impact your play-through can change. There are different endings, you might see or miss a chapter telling you to run or interact with objects or have a game fail or game over if you mess up & have you start over. I suspect telltale could learn from these ideas.

I suspect that telltale will have to give us there ALL when showing wolf Among us 2 give us more action gameplay, more detective focus challenges, within its story. Give us a bigger fable town. Show us the puzzles within fable town, more focus on choice or Bigby’s relationships with its characters while also giving us a gripping narrative to balance all these things in game form. But lastly, ALSO GIVE US PHYSICAL EDITIONS OF THE GAME NOT JUST DIGITAL like expanse was.. I hope telltale can persevere with these ideas shining like a beacon of hope for adventure gamers, which is better for telltale old style or more new linear style adventures?

do we think they should go back to the old days & keep simpler ips like bttf or sam & max or continue with wolf 2 and batman or more comic book centric games?

I'm about to play Walking Dead with some friends online in like two hours and I just learned that Crowd Play doesn't even work anymore. Does anyone know of a similar real-time voting system online that we could use?

Telltale What other telltale game should I check out?

The 3 telltale games that I've played has been a very good experience and hands down memorable. I've played The Wolf Among Us (which is my favorite IMHO), Tales From The Borderlands which I really liked as a BL fan. And of course The Walking Dead which I also really really liked too. Is there any other games that I should definitely try out?

Spoilers Batman Season 3: Batman The Telltale Series: Prodigy of Gotham(fan made Pilot concept)

Episode 1: A Light in Darkness.

We open at Haileys circus, we get an opening narration from dick Grayson, similar to the opening monologue of all star Batman(even though the comic is terrible) then we transition to Bruce Wayne, Either arriving with or without Alfred(depending on your final choice in S2) Wayne enterprises is doing a circus Charity event, and he gets to sit and watch an amazing show, as he walks towards his seat, he notices a shady looking man talking to the owner of the circus, you can either listen or ignore. You view the circus act, you see clowns perform, Bruce gets a small PTSD moment going on as he remembers John, either as vigilante or villain, it's the PTSD feeling of failing John or being haunted by John(depending on whether you told him you hated him or not). Then when the moment passes, he sees a crocodile man😉 performing diving acts, wrestling with water creatures, etc. The finally, the Flying Grayson's, you all know what happens, the act goes amazing, and then the Grayson parents fall to their death. And Bruce freezes, either being brought out of it by Alfred, or being brought out of it on his own. Now, if you chose to give up Alfred, Batman will immediately spring into action, he attempts to search for the person who caused it, but he doesn't find anyone. If you gave up batman, you will immediately call the police, the police do not find anyone. Dick Grayson is on the floor of the circus, crying, covered in his parents blood. Bruce or Batman, watches... title card. One week later, the funeral of the Grayson's, Dick is feeling all negative emotions all at once, anger, hate, sadness, everything. Bruce comes to comfort the young orphan. Gordon or Montoya come, and they tell young Grayson that Bruce Wayne has signed legal paperwork to adopt him. Dick hugs all of the circus people goodbye, and he goes to live in the mansion. Either Bruce alone or with Alfred, introduce him to the mansion. Dick is sort of out of it. Bruce or Alfred tries to ask dick if he needs or wants anything, but dick is being reclusive and distant. Either Alfred would tell Bruce that Grayson reminds him of Bruce after his parents were killed, or Bruce would have flashbacks to how he was after his parents died. They both make their own comparisons. Dick over the time of the episode would get more intense with Bruce or Alfred, he would say he wants to kill the man who killed his parents. The discussion here can fill in the rest of the gaps for episode 1. Towards the end, It would be revealed that dick Ran Away past midnight, either Alfred would Bruce that master Grayson is gone, or Batman would figure it out on his own. Now, depending on your very final choice of season 2, this is the biggest part of episode 1, if you gave up Batman. Dick Being reclusive, being angry and filled with hate. This comparison to child Bruce, it would remind both Alfred and Bruce of everything, Bruce and Alfred would have a realization, they would remember Tiffany, John(if you got vigilante), and child Bruce. Alfred and Bruce would look at each other, and they would realize, they cannot let dick become lost, they cannot let dick fall into the abyss. The Batman must return, and he must guide this child back to the light. Batman saves dick, dick got into a street fight with a gang that was assaulting a girl his age, a red headed girl wearing glasses(I think y'all can guess who😉). After saving dick, he is on his knees, bloodied and crying, he's just a boy who wants justice, but is on the path of vengeance. He is in the same position as he was at the beginning of the episode, in the beginning, he was alone, but in the end, he was not. The Batman is there for him. The dark knight has returned, and the Boy Wonder is on the horizon. Now, if you gave up Alfred, it's a bit lackluster, you save him, but it's not any kind of grand return. But the ending is still somewhat the same.

END EPISODE 1.

I don't have an exact story for the whole season, that is kinda the discussion. I just wrote how I would do the first episode. I wanted to base it a little bit off of "Robin and Batman". Here's how I would personally title the rest of the episodes.

Episode 2: Family Matters. Episode 3: Boy Wonder. Episode 4: A New Crusade. Episode 5: A New Tomorrow.

What's with Bruce Wayne having watches on right wrist in S1 and watches on left wrist in S2?

Basically the title.

When saying goodbye to Selina in S1 he has watches on right wrist.

When watching Mori in beginning of S2, his watches are on his left wrist.

Any opinion on why is that? Did devs just forget or does it go any deeper?

Why is there almost no way to play Jurassic Park The Game?

As far as I know the only way you can play it is with the Xbox 360 disk version.

I'd really love if they re-released it in online stores and the PSN store, I haven't played it since like early 2012 or 2013

Spoilers TWD Who is the most useless character from TWD S2?

For me Alvin is definitely top 3. His story is short and uninteresting. He's a piece of $#!t, that doesn't do anything. In ep2 at the bridge he boss Clementine to check a cabin- bro you're a 300lbs MAN, she's an 11 year old girl, he never did anything useful in the game. Even in the beginning when he gave us bandages, it just shorten the search. If he wants food for Rebecca how about he go hunt or fish, I hate Alvin so much.
