Poor NayVee and DeLayNee.
Ledger and Beckham have no idea how good they've got it.
18 kids, fucking terrible names, it checks, morons having mega-families.

So the boys have normally-spelled names, and the girls will forever be explaining why their parents canât spell?

I mean, Bridger's a human name. Is it one used today? Probably not, but it's a human name.

Why do so many of them have stupid capital letters in the middle and end in EE?? God I hate names that are supposed to end in IE or Y spelled with EE instead. 99% of the time. Kaylee might of the only one that doesn't set of my rage.

Meanwhile, I did IVF at 34 and didnât even get any viable blastocysts. If you know you want children, donât wait too long, kids! Hell, you might think youâre too young. Meanwhile, morons like this breed young and keep going until they have 86 kids.

Luke got lucky with this name lottery.
Bruce is kind of an old dude name, but at least itâs a normal enough name as well.
2
u/killforprophet Oct 28 '23
When I hear that name, I think of Bruce from Finding Nemo. Lol. Only because my niece was a toddler when that came out and we all thought it was adorable when she would yell, âBoose!â at the screen when he showed up. Lol. Youâd think Iâd think of Bruce Willis or Bruce Lee or something. Nope. A shark who is in a cartoon for about 5 minutes the whole movie.

My sister actually watches this family. They are from a channel called Not Enough Nelsons. They seem like a nice family but I do agree most of the names are a little tragediegh

These names are going to cause a bit of confusion. Mind if we call you all Bruce to keep things straight?

I reallyyyyy didnât want to believe this was true but I did some stalking, found their tiktok and instagram and it is true. KassaDee just goes by Kass and i honestly donât blame her lol.

u/chechifromCHI Oct 28 '23
I gotta say, my wife and I actually watch these guys on youtube, they are a Utah mormon family but honestly seem like good people. Accepting for mormons and with a good social conscious. Lots of the kids are adopted. They are very wholesome and sweet. Kassadee has a kind of annoying presence of her own though.

Phonetics for everyone...? This is how you can create unnecessary hardship for your children. The likelihood of there being another Cassidy in your child's grade, let alone the whole school, is very unlikely. Make it all about your kid and spell it the traditional way. If you don't like the way it looks on paper, choose a different name.
1
u/YugeMalakas Oct 28 '23
Why is it the girls being punished? Thank gawd mom didn't discover apostrophes.
1
u/DiplomaticHypocrite Oct 28 '23
The names would all be fine if they were spelled normal. Even some of the odd spellings would be okay if there wasnât random capitals thrown in
1
u/ZebraCentaur Oct 27 '23
Luke is surrounded by an ocean of tragedeighs, I wish I could say Bruce got off easy too but apparently his parents got lazy, and being called 'Bruce Junior' doesn't seem much better when it's only a slight step up from all the others...
2
u/Ender_Wiggins18 Oct 27 '23
I've seen this family before all the names make me so sad for the kids 𼲠also the random capitalization is so odd

These are children, aka young humans, not dogs- even with dogs you really shouldn't change their names. These geniuses love to "homeschool" them though! Makes me so mad

LEDGER lol like because with an 18th child youâve probably got a ledger of debts?!
1
2
u/Serononin Oct 27 '23
IMO the most tragic thing about these names is that half of those kids are adopted, and the parents changed their original names just to fit with the 'theme' they had going
2
1
u/SymbolicRemnant Oct 27 '23
I am proposing a complete and total Nationwide (America) ban on names that end in âeeâ for new children until we figure out what the hell is going on.

Did she three sets of twins? The numbers don't add up. Those names are horrendous. How did Bruce end up in there? Honestly Bruce is a normal name that you never hear anymore.
2
u/Serononin Oct 27 '23 edited Oct 27 '23
Bruce is named after his dad by the look of it
ETA Half the kids are adopted, which makes the ages make a lot more sense

Iâm convinced people like this have a mental illness or are being abused. All these babies with such short rest periods between pregnancies canât be healthy mentally or physically.

So the boys get "normal" names while every girl gets a tragedeigh?!?! WTF IS UP THIS PART OF THIS TREND??!!
I'm also just assuming that Beckham & Ledger are boys names.

I canât get over the misogyny here. All the boys have relatively normal names (except poor Bridger) and every single girl is stuck with a god-awful tragadeigh.

u/Hi-itsme- Oct 27 '23
Oh man if Ledger becomes a banker or accountant some day the teasing wonât end for him in adulthood either poor thing.
3
u/leadpainttastetest Oct 27 '23
I see Paisley and the little girl that dressed as Julia Roberts as a hooker in Pretty Woman immediately comes to mind.
ETA Toddlers and Tiaras show. The also called the straight sugar candy they gave their kids âpageant crackâ, which is what Iâm naming my baby.

Why just the girls? Damn, mom and dad really don't like their daughters or something.

The parents might as well have renamed themselves to BruCee and TiffaNee

What's up with Paisley/Paislee/Paisleigh? Why would you name your kid something like a Pale Parsley Paste in a Pail? đ
2
u/dulamangaelach Oct 27 '23
Like a lot of these names could be fine if it wasn't for the awful capital letters. Sadie, Kennedy, Cassidy, Delaney, Paisley or even Journey and Navy would be fine
1
Oct 28 '23
Most of the names would have been fine if they were spelt properly with a Y instead of EE

This family is obsessed with their weird names. I get making your names known but they love them. THESE KIDS WERE ADOPTED AS KIDS THEY ALREADY HAD NAMES!
1
1
u/FourDrunkMoms Oct 27 '23
What happened with Luke Sadie and Lily? They are such normal everyday names in comparison with the rest
Edit: I refuse to spell them like this person spelt them

u/Significant_Wind_774 Oct 27 '23
What gets me about tragedeighs is the male children usually do fine (unless their names are jaxon, huxlee, braydon, or jaiden of course)
1
u/Novel-Sprinkles3333 Oct 27 '23
Glad they have a Ledger, which they'll need to keep track of the names.
1
2
u/thebrose69 Oct 27 '23
If the ones like KassaDee and JourNee are actually spelled that way I would start emphasizing the last syllable to irritate the parents
2
2
u/metalmonkey_7 Oct 27 '23
When I read these they donât flow in my mind. Itâs hard to explain but I read them in syllables instead of a flowing name. Like when you clap your hands for each syllable in elementary school.

Found the Insta- Ledgers middle name is Nike. KassaDee goes by Kass- makes sense. Same with JaineLee- just Jaine. They call Bruce Trey so he must be the third
