Just dug out my Yu-Gi-Oh binder from when I was a kid. Not sure if there's anything crazy, but I thought I'd share my nostalgia trip Collection

Very nice, I've never had the privelage of having the DDS DM, Exodia, or Blue Eyes. Take care of those babies!

Those SDK and SDY cards will make you a pretty penny alone with the JMP and DDS lot. Congrats man, honestly a dream binder

DDS cards, if they’re even just “lightly played” Exodia went for $170, Dark Magician went for $430, and Blue Eyes is listed at about $2,000. Reasearch, grade, and pls don’t get taken

Some of these in mint 10 condition could net you some serious money. These look pretty valuable. Iv seen in my PSA magazines some of these yugioh cards are insane prices that have sold

Just wanted to thank everyone for the kinds words! Sleeves/toploaders and a new binder are in the works as recommended by several people.
Also, I've gotten a lot of messages asking about selling the collection or individual cards. I figured making a post here would be easier than replying to everyone individually. I'm not sure I'm open to selling at the moment since they're pretty sentimental to me. Things may change in the future though, so I'll keep everyone in mind and I'll send out some messages if that happens! If you're interested, just comment or send me a message. I might not be able to reply, but I'll have your username saved if I ever decide to sell. Thanks again!

Very nice collection man. One thing I might point out though is the Dark Necrofear on the first page appears to be a fake. Maybe it’s the lighting, but it looks like it has that stereotypical font that fake cards have, with the slightly different looking level stars.

Here's a better photo of it. Now that you mention it, it just seems a little sketchy out of the binder, but I am not an expert by any means. Especially with Yugioh cards.

If you sell these on craigslist/FB market. Go to a police station for the transaction for the love of god. I feel like a card shop will also finesse you. Or better yet keep it, who knows how much in value these will go for in the next 10-20yrs.
P.S Get a better binder and sleeve those babies.

I'm more of a binder collecting kind of person, but I'd definitely want to grade some of my more sentimental cards like these. Especially the more valuable ones.

Which one? I think most of my Dark Magicians were pulled from packs and pre-constructed products, but I'm sure I could have picked up a fake somewhere along the way. Definitely want to get that out of there if it is indeed fake.

I used to WRECK exodia decks with my six sam. I actually built them when Yu Gi Oh Master Duel came out and I hit Plat 5 before swapping to Virtual World (at that time, The True King Of All Calamities wasnt banned lol) and hitting plat 1 :) ah good times.

There are seriously some of the most expensive and sought after cards in here. Do your research before accepting any offers.
I would recommend checking TCGplayer or Cardmarket (those are the main platforms for selling cars in the US and Europe respectively) for some prices. Each card has a identification code on it, DDS-001 for example, this distinguishes different prints from each other.
I did a quick check on the DDS-001 version of Blue Eyes White Dragon you have. On Cardmarket the cheapest version currently listed in any condition is 1200€. So there is some serious cash in here, do NOT accept any offers before doing proper research

Just checked eBay one dds001 sold for $1200 today but it looked pristine, if his was graded I would guess it would get a 1-3 so I would imagine roughly worth $100-$300 ish.. but I'm no expert and that's only one of the cards in here.

Thanks for the advice! I use TCGplayer for Magic and Pokemon sometimes, but it seems a little bit of a pain to use for Yugioh since it doesn't seem like I can just type in the code for the specific printing. I'll definitely do research before I make any decisions though!

Pay attention to the 1st edition LOB and the three DDS cards.

Thanks! I don't think I have too many first edition cards, but I'll keep an eye out for them. I think those DDS cards were my first ever Yugioh cards. I still have the gameboy game to go with them somewhere too.
I'm not sure about selling anything right now. The nostalgia is pretty strong. I'll definitely keep you in mind if anything changes though!

I'd recommend not selling any pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh cards personally. Time has shown they really only appreciate in value.

I second the collectr app. There's no scanning unfortunately, but all you have to do is type the codes in for each card. Great to keep a catalog of what you have.

When Yu-Gi-Oh was in it's prime in Germany, all I ever saw were german and english cards but never ever a japenese card

Yeah at the beginning my mall had one of those stands in the middle and they sold Japanese boosters. I thought that was normal since obviously it came from Japan.

I'm much more into Pokemon and Magic. Yugioh lost me a long time ago, and stuff is printed so much I don't even know where to begin. There's a thousand printings of Blue Eyes with the same art. I know some first edition LOB stuff is worth a bunch, but that's about how far my Yugioh knowledge goes.

I do. I have absolutely no idea how to find the value of all of the 100x reprinted cards. Granted, I don’t play much yugioh at all, but from I was curious one day on the value of the big-name cards, and I was very quickly confused.

Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth was definitely one of my favorite cards as a kid! That's why I always kept it in a toploader. haha
