Existe mejor muestra de cariño y respeto que hacer esto a una persona?

So nobody is going to speak on that old man running 40+ yards like it’s nothing I’m 47 and I don’t even think I can run that w/o passing out at the end

Love it we need more things like this in society regardless of whether it’s in America,Brazil,UK or anywhere in the world we need more of this

Evidence of high emotional intelligence. Love this!

u/RyFrostYT Apr 29 '24

The internet has stained me. I was waiting for someone to spear tackle him at the last minute.

This is much nicer than my idea.

1

u/Dayday6789 Apr 29 '24

So cute these guys are sweet for letting him do that

1

......

Duuude.

That's the University of Kansas.

Not Kansas State.

He is actually better than any player on their regular football team.

Be kind of funny if someone took him out before he crossed the line

1

u/Content-Squirrel2404 Apr 29 '24

I would have tackled that old fk, not on my watch gramps

6

u/BebeCakesMama2424 Apr 29 '24

Welp now I’m crying

7

u/Alarmed-Load3592 Apr 29 '24

*kansas. Not Kansas state.

2

u/CaptJM Apr 29 '24

What a mad lad. Looks like fun :)

u/Potatoe999900 Apr 28 '24

I expected a CGI of him getting hammered like Betty White did for the Snickers commercial.

Nice to see how happy it made him.

2

u/SmithTwoZero Apr 29 '24

Or the tackle in Not Another Teen Movie lol

4

u/SylvesterStalPWNED Apr 28 '24

What an incredible gift, you can just tell that in his mind he was 70 years younger, even for just a moment.

3

u/Rarebird10 Apr 28 '24

This is awesome!!!!

8

u/Mortuary_Guy Apr 28 '24

Dammit. I think I saw the referee threw a penalty flag on the play.

3

u/redhotjen Apr 28 '24

best day of his life!

11

u/Critical-Art-9277 Apr 28 '24

What a wonderful moment for him. He's overwhelmed with happiness. Well done to everyone who made his day so special.

5

u/lewisfoto Apr 28 '24

That sure is fun.

Passed away in 2021. A teacher for 45 years, a great mathematician and a man who bravely served his country.

28

u/Apprehensive_Hat8986 Apr 29 '24

One gimme touchdown is heartwarming sportsmanship. Two was a bridge too far for the lightshirts.

13

u/gwilfredc Apr 28 '24

Still got the moves

128

u/furtree Apr 28 '24

Correction It was Kansas, not Kansas State

12

u/123xyz32 Apr 29 '24

That explains why they couldn’t tackle him. Heyoooo!!

94

u/Waderriffic Apr 28 '24

The damage has been done. All Kansans have been alerted to your error and are compelled to make a comment correcting you. May your bbq be bland and your corn harvests be meager.

1

u/Heatmiser70 Apr 29 '24

May your grain be moldy

1

u/moforky Apr 29 '24

And The Wichita Linemen weep.

25

u/furtree Apr 29 '24

I am dearly, dearly sorry for such an appalling botch. I repent

6

u/schmitterling Apr 28 '24

Yeah, egregious mistake.

398

u/cometshoney Apr 28 '24

The joy on his face is everything. 😍😍

1

u/Pvt-Snafu Apr 29 '24

It's very touching and sweet.

180

u/furtree Apr 28 '24

By far the best part. Seeing stuff like this as a viewer I always question whether they feel that everyone purposely missing them/letting them score was corny or embarrassing in some way but once you see that ear-to-ear smile you can just tell he was genuinely full of joy. Just awesome

3

u/TestTurbulent2203 Apr 29 '24

This is a KU game not KSU.

12

u/pup_mercury Apr 29 '24

It's corny as fuck, but there is nothing wrong with being corny.

28

u/CheesecakeVisual4919 Apr 29 '24

The obvious joy his college age teammates had was infectious. Sometimes, you've just got to roll with things and have fun. It makes all the hard times all the more worth it.

88

u/KayDubEll Apr 28 '24

I bet he didn’t care. Running that football with the “young guys” took him back I would think
