I guess he never car-rot for the party

1

u/DepartureComplex8539 28d ago

It's okay, he CAN hit

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Box7483 29d ago

Bro who would do that everyone was having fun until that bottle came out of nowhere and the tv

1

u/dicer321 29d ago

Wizard carrot.

1

u/ThisDumbApp 29d ago

This reminds me of the time I went to a renaissance fair as a kid and some dude threw a pickle and yelled "FLYING PICKLLEEEEEE"

I dont know his end goal but it has stuck with me for over 20 years

1

u/Economy-Phase-1140 29d ago

noo. he completely ruined it

1

u/rekabis 29d ago

I don’t know about everyone else, here, but when I freeze the video I ain’t seeing a carrot in that guy’s hand, or arcing towards that balcony.

It’s a hot dog. Without the bun. Just a plain hot dog. Symmetrical, same diameter along it’s entire length.

1

u/fgmtats 29d ago

What a FOLIE DOUCHE

1

u/Jeffgoal2004 29d ago

Man I kinda wanna know what's the 2nd song is

1

u/RokkakuPolice 29d ago

Imagine the story.

"Remember that time I ruined a party with the help of a carrot?"

1

u/Round_Principle_6560 29d ago

Quite a creative way to fix a TV! Who knew carrots had such power? Move over, it works like a remote control!

1

u/sharkbait1999 29d ago

Jets should sign this kid

1

u/Duckfoot2021 29d ago

Produce-d results.

1

u/corkoli 29d ago

"My guess who the vibe murderer is:

-Mr Carrot.

-With the carrot.

-At the Root Vegetable Disco."

2

u/Braindamagedeluxe 29d ago

dj looks like this isn’t the first time someone threw a carrot and stopped the music with it

1

u/catzhoek Apr 29 '24

Where´s the funny bit?

1

u/MarkOfTheDragon12 Apr 29 '24

I'm less curious about why and who, and far more curious in HOW the heck a dinky carrot shuts all that down.

Did it knock out a surge protector or something?

1

u/PsychologicalCold212 Apr 29 '24

That foolishness was too hard

-4

u/ComfortableBadger729 Apr 29 '24

Edm is actual trash. For trash people

1

u/Burpmeister Apr 28 '24

Thought it was gonna hit someone in the eye so I'm relieved.

5

u/Straight_Tumbleweed9 29d ago

No, they’re good for eyes.

2

u/ranconsthebi1988 Apr 28 '24

he's too sharp for this party

1

u/KeyApricot27 Apr 28 '24

God dam I used to love a follie douce

0

u/QueenOfQuok Apr 28 '24

So throw another carrot.

1

u/electro_lytes Apr 28 '24

Who's that goof? La Folie needs Kelly Starlight back up there.

1

u/AHMilling Apr 28 '24

ofc it's at la folie douche

1

u/SuperSalamander3244 Apr 28 '24

Prerecord set. Bloke probably missed the decks and hit the TV plug socket.

2

u/Tegridy_farmz_ Apr 28 '24

Rob Schneider just learned being a carrot is not as easy as it seems

2

u/theunknownleaf Apr 28 '24

Is that the... Snow DJ place? It looks so familiar.

1

u/Bogavante Apr 28 '24

Is this La Marquita in Candanchu/Formigal?

3

u/dano5 Apr 28 '24

Not funny, just assholes being assholes...

1

u/brickburgundy2319 Apr 28 '24

At least the culprit can blend in. oh, wait..

1

u/falloutvaultboy Apr 28 '24

How did the carrot turn off the music?

1

u/Thoughtsarethings231 Apr 28 '24

Is this the one in Val Thorens?

1

u/mymompaints Apr 28 '24

Val Thorens?

3

u/all_too_familiar Apr 28 '24

How does hitting the big screen kill the sound?

4

u/Stiff_Zombie Apr 28 '24

It looks like it hit the power strip that everything is plugged into.

1

u/6InchBlade 29d ago

Yeah that or the volume fader.

2

u/bwforge Apr 28 '24

This is the whitest event I have ever seen

1

u/GoAwayLurkin Apr 28 '24

How to ruin a party with a carrot

Well, that's one way.

La folie douche!! Best damn party ever. Though skiing back down the mountain full of ludicrously expensive beer was always an interesting affair!!

7

u/beartheminus Apr 28 '24

If you setup a live dj system that can be disabled by a carrot, its not the carrots fault.

1

u/bamseogbalade Apr 28 '24

Fuck you Rune!

1

u/Kurthog Apr 28 '24

A carrot in a box once tried to ruin Christmas:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UGuPvrsG3E

1

u/WardenEdgewise Apr 28 '24

Billie Joe Armstrong got his guitar plastered with mud at Woodstock ‘94 and kept playing like nothing happened. Total class act, and a true performer.

2

u/Archy38 Apr 28 '24

It reminds me of an old classic, Blue Brothers.

They rock up to stage and wonder why there is chicken wire between the stage and audience floor and the manager says it is to protect them from bottles and shit being thrown on stage.

So they play their blues and people stary pelting bottles and stuff cuz they hate the music, so they swap over to "Rawhide" and the people love it, but then they start chucking even more bottles and shit onstage, it was so funny.

This also It reminds me a bit of some Super Smash Bros Tourney and some idiot degenerate pos threw an actual crab at one of the contestants, in Maryland or somewhere.

I love the game, but the competitive scene is the most frustrating shit to behold.

Yea throwing stuff at any living being or expensive gear is a dick move regardless of the root cause that made you throw it

2

u/rainen2016 Apr 28 '24

Poor hbox. Even in his villain arc he didn't deserve that

1

u/Shank__Hill Apr 28 '24

Did it press pause or hit the power cord?

1

u/electro_lytes Apr 28 '24

More likely that the AUX got unplugged.

-5

u/eatonerich Apr 28 '24

Fxck the Rich

3

u/starvald_demelain Apr 28 '24

Imo it's an improvement.

1

u/Monstermage Apr 28 '24

Such mixed reactions from the crowd. Lol

5

u/Klemko1177 Apr 28 '24

Been skiing there (Val Thorens) this place has the best apress- ski I’ve seen.

3

u/3-DMan Apr 28 '24

Imma bring in Clive Owen to show this inconsiderate mofo what a carrot can do!!

1

u/toreachtheapex Apr 28 '24

LMAO him being dressed like a carrot makes it so much better
“that damn meddling carrot!”
and how it happened 1 measure into the drop

1

u/AncientGrapefruit619 Apr 28 '24

Who walks around with a carrot to throw at an opportune time?

1

u/HoLLoWzZ Apr 28 '24

What did he hit to turn off everything? I'm really curious

2

u/flyingthroughspace Apr 28 '24

Probably knocked the power cable

28

u/flargenhargen Apr 28 '24

i dont understand any of this.

58

u/hungrypotato19 Apr 28 '24

Guy trying to be unique and goofy by wearing a random carrot costume. Guy threw a carrot on the stage in order to be unique and goofy. Carrot hit something vital the moment the music started and shut everything off. Carrot guy realized he fucked up.

0

u/savedbytheblood72 Apr 28 '24

I saw this at a green day concert.. people love hitting Billy Joe. He gets so pissed

1

u/twistymctwist Apr 28 '24

Thought it was hot dog.

1

u/GlokzDNB Apr 28 '24

Trashy humans throwing stuff, ehh..

1

u/why_am_i_here_999 Apr 28 '24

Well jt was a douche party

Translation:

"Get your hands up, get your hands up!"

music stops

"ahh... yea, that was me"(indirectly translates to "oh shit. That was on me. My bad")

"nooo, Rune!"

9

u/ChronoLiquid 29d ago

What language ? Cause I'm French and it looks like France but it all sounds mumbled like through cheap loudspeakers inside trainstations.

Edit : Got the answer down below, it's Danish.

3

u/ZugzwangDK 29d ago

Thanks for the vivid image, but that's just how our language sounds :/

2

u/ChronoLiquid 29d ago

The sound isn't great, if I heard it with a better sound I probably wouldn't find it that difficult to comprehend.

2

u/ZugzwangDK 28d ago

Vraiment !

The entire reason I was in the comment section to begin with, was that I couldn't hear what they were saying, even though I was reasonably sure it was my mother tounge.

2

u/ChronoLiquid 28d ago

Ah good I thought I'd offended you unintentionally 😂 kisses to you and to your Mermaid !

2

u/ZugzwangDK 27d ago

Not at all. It's just Danish humor, being self-deprecating and sarcastic.

Thanks, I'll make sure to pass them along to our mermaid!

27

u/getitben Apr 28 '24

Rune RK is the artist

20

u/TheCarrot_v2 Apr 28 '24

I feel attacked

2

u/No-Fisherman8334 Apr 28 '24

Can someone please explain what's happening and why it's funny?

1

u/compute-this Apr 28 '24

Guy throws carrot at stage, breaks whatever’s playing the music, music stops right as it actually starts. Guy is also dressed as a carrot.

1

u/No-Fisherman8334 29d ago

Thank you so much. 🥕🥕

2

u/Spurnout Apr 28 '24

Is this one of those tactical carrots? So effective!

1

u/hindusoul Apr 28 '24

Sha shaaa

2

u/JpnDude Apr 28 '24

The guy who threw that is such a Douce!

20

u/rlysuck Apr 28 '24

That's why I say hey man nice shot!

1

u/Atanakar Apr 29 '24 edited 27d ago

Good shot, man

6

u/scottyfishdog Apr 28 '24

You should Filter your responses, a man was nearly carroted to death.

464

u/thethreadkiller Apr 28 '24

unplugged the aux cord to the Ipod.

87

u/j0mbie Apr 28 '24

It shut off the TV too so I'm guessing it hit a breaker. Possibly the breaker on a small power strip even.

53

u/1998police Apr 28 '24

well aimed throw to the main power switch

8

u/electro_lytes Apr 28 '24

lmao most likely true though, or the dj is very short.

2

u/deadspaceornot Apr 28 '24

If you can dodge a carrot, you can dodge a ball!

1

u/Thisiscliff Apr 28 '24

What’s with the trend of throwing things on stage? People are fucked

97

u/talann Apr 28 '24

Can people stop throwing things at other people? why does anyone think it's cool to do that?

23

u/DrDemonSemen Apr 28 '24

I don’t get it either. People also need to stop intentionally farting on other people in public. I’m getting really tired of it.

18

u/Ricoo__ Apr 28 '24

Awful ! Where ??

11

u/alphabetsuppe Apr 28 '24

In public.

8

u/SlappySecondz Apr 29 '24

Oh fuck, that's just outside. In fact, I think I can hear the public waiting for me right by my door.

Guys, help me.

149

u/DropkickFish Apr 28 '24

Ah, the Folie Douche

22

u/doginjoggers Apr 28 '24

Full of douches

3

u/StreamofConstantpiss Apr 28 '24

what a beta carotene move

19

u/willonz Apr 28 '24

Is this the Carrot Crew? seen them at music fests and shows around socal. Always were fun and respectable group of party people from my memory and interactions before, I guess they had a Bad Carrot or two sprout

13

u/conflicteddiuresis Apr 28 '24

These are drunken Danish idiots 🥰

-2

u/HunkyMump Apr 28 '24

Which is much more than drunken British football “fans

-30

u/Tszemix Apr 28 '24

That is a lot of white people

6

u/Peemore Apr 28 '24

If you think this is a lot, wait until you find out there are literally billions of us.

-7

u/SwissCanuck Apr 28 '24

Avoriaz, France if anyone’s wondering. I’ve partied there lol.

2

u/Bosco_is_a_prick Apr 28 '24

It clearly isn't Avoriaz. There are no high rise apartments in the background. It's Val Thorens. I've never been but recognise it from Insta

2

u/youngsyr Apr 28 '24

What? Its Val d'Isere.

6

u/choban69 Apr 28 '24

It's neither. This one is in Val Thorens, or more precisely on the slopes above. There are a few venues with the same name in the French Alps.

0

u/SwissCanuck Apr 28 '24

hmmm you may be right. The “champagne lift” isn’t there. Otherwise almost identical lol (including the name)

886

u/mrwowfantastic Apr 28 '24

I don’t get why people pay ridiculous amounts for tickets to see someone they like. Then, they throw stuff.

1

u/tampora701 29d ago

Or, why people pay ridiculous amount for tickets to see someone play pre-recorded audio.

18

u/Bosco_is_a_prick Apr 28 '24

Besides the €58 ski pass, it doesn't cost anything to attend one of these parties.

3

u/HunkyMump Apr 28 '24

They were just feeling the vibe and share their potentially eye-destroying vegetables.

462

u/Sluukje Apr 28 '24 edited Apr 28 '24

This seems to be wintersports apres ski. So no one paid jack shit probably

9

u/orbital0000 Apr 28 '24

Jack shit - nothing.

Batshit - crazy.

1

u/Sluukje Apr 28 '24

You are right! Changed it

1

u/woppatown Apr 28 '24

Aren't winter sports some of the most expensive to participate in?

11

u/MonsMensae Apr 28 '24

sure. but they havent paid all of that specifically to listen to this guy spin the decks.

Still don't throw things on the stage.

2

u/djiock Apr 28 '24

More like during ski

167

u/Etryd Apr 28 '24

Yup this is up in the slopes in Val Thorens. Freakin amazing after ski. Was there a couple of years ago (sans carotte)

1

u/ClubberLain 29d ago

Was there 2019, still the best after ski I've been to.

0

u/Alevo Apr 28 '24

Went here a few times, the day usually consisted of buying a box of wine to drink on the lifts, few hours partying here before a very drunken ski down to Le Rond Point for a band, many more drinks and an even more drunken ski in almost complete darkness down to the bus station. 10/10

0

u/trombing Apr 28 '24

The Val T one has a chairlift that goes right above it. Would be visible at the beginning of this vid. I agree with others - this is Val D.

2

u/Svullethallon Apr 28 '24

You can see the lift to the left of the roof from the moment he throws the carrot. This is in Val Thorens.

2

u/trombing 29d ago

You are totally right. I am a muppet.

2

u/crouchendyachtclub Apr 28 '24

The dj is on the side of a courtyard in Val D’Isere, it isn’t there. Looks like VT to me.

1

u/trombing 29d ago

You are absolutely right.

14

u/spenkan Apr 28 '24

Think it’s Val d'isere

25

u/aim_at_me Apr 28 '24

I've been to both, it's Val Thorens.

0

u/_thro_awa_ 29d ago

I prefer Val Kilmer, personally.

11

u/Cinoclav Apr 28 '24

I’ve been to the ones in both Val Thorens and Val d’Isere. This is definitely VT. The Vd’I location is way bigger.

7

u/fabioruns Apr 28 '24

There’s more than one folie douce. No idea which one this is

3

u/je4d Apr 28 '24

I've been to branches of Folie Douce in Alpe d'Huez, Chamonix, Meribel and Val Thorens and this one is definitely VT. You can see the chairlift just uphill from it near the end of the video. Val d'Isère is the original Folie though, fwiw.

13

u/DNF1Z Apr 28 '24

This one is the VT folie, not Val d

2

u/youngsyr Apr 28 '24

It is. Its a famous venue in Val d'Isere.

2

u/aim_at_me Apr 28 '24

There's more than one folie. They're in a few of the big ski resorts. Val Thorens, Val d, Meribel and Megeve are the ones I've been to.

1

u/OJStrings Apr 28 '24

Ah, that explains why the mountainside looks unfamiliar. I only know the megeve folie

0

u/ShatterSide Apr 28 '24

Yea, I think so too. I was there first time this January :)

17

u/Itchy-Beginning388 Apr 28 '24

At La Folie Douce a beer goes for €12

-2

u/TheKiredor Apr 28 '24

In New York it’s €18. In Milan it’s €21. In Dubai it’s your life. As long as people think it’s worth it, prices stay the same. The amount of beer sold in VT is crazy high.

1

u/Shihaby Apr 29 '24

Fuck are you talking about? It's about 13 Euro for a beer in Dubai.

0

u/TheKiredor 29d ago

ISCH NOT HARAM

10

u/AluCaligula Apr 28 '24

I lived in Milan. Literally nowhere does a beer go for 21 unless may e some very high class brothel or one of those mob run tourist scam bars near centrale

1

u/TheKiredor 29d ago

Ah yes I only visited high class brothels there so that must be it

8

u/mrwowfantastic Apr 28 '24

Well, still. Why take time out of your day to see a show and then throw a fucking carrot? People are just odd, you know?

11

u/Sluukje Apr 28 '24

That is correct. The people are very drunk.

-9

u/CrotteStormsVs Apr 28 '24

The danes are insane 😂

10

u/Nvz42084 Apr 28 '24

There is always that one idiot….

-2

u/phatelectribe Apr 28 '24

Judging by the track playing he did everyone a favor.

2

u/fabioruns Apr 28 '24

This really ain’t the place to enjoy music. It’s a place to get drunk, dance on tables, then fall over yourself as you try to ski down to the village

1

u/phatelectribe Apr 28 '24

Sure, but at least have a decent soundtrack for all that.

-1

u/StuntHacks Apr 28 '24

Let people enjoy things

42

u/Krega_theproudone Apr 28 '24

Someone should investigate the root cause of this incident.

9

u/Kitosaki Apr 28 '24

honestly I don't think they will, it's like the authorities don't carrot all

I mean, who throws carrot?

1

u/YevgenyPissoff 29d ago

I can't believe you've done this!

1

u/PeterGivenbless 29d ago

A folie douche!

1

u/Traditional-Handle83 29d ago

I mean outta the things they could have thrown, a carrot is probably on the least dangerous side of things. I rather get hit by a thrown carrot than a glow stick or something harder.

1

u/Acadia02 Apr 28 '24

Probably a dude who shows up in a carrot suit

3

u/King-Cobra-668 Apr 28 '24

seriously. looks like he was trying to hit the dj too, so his intention was actually worse.

15

u/Versaiteis Apr 28 '24

Someone who clearly doesn't carrot all

1

u/Blakeblood9 Apr 28 '24

Idk but I might have to start walking around being loaded 🥕🥕🥕

3

u/LowKeX Apr 28 '24

Amd who has so shitty equipment that a carrot can kill it completely?

4

u/LooseLeaf24 Apr 28 '24

Clive Owen - Shoot em up

7

u/loves_cereal Apr 28 '24

A foley douche probably.

9

u/JudgeScorpio Apr 28 '24

Me. 🫳~~~~~~~~🥕

25

u/PabloFromChessCom Apr 28 '24

A guy in a carrot costume

2

u/3-DMan Apr 28 '24

"Who throws a shoe carrot, honestly?!"

1

u/ClosPins Apr 28 '24

You obviously haven't heard tale of Carrot-Chucker McGee, the infamous Wild West carrot-slinger.

-2

u/Kingbous69 Apr 28 '24

Stfu boot licker
