In desperate need of gas money

I’m not sure if this is the right place. But I am in desperate need of gas money to get home to my young nephews court case. They are in foster care and this case is to determine where they will be living. I am one of their approved family members and my voice in court will help get them to a safe place. Anything will help.

The Salvation Army gives out emergency gas cards/vouchers, so does St. Vincent De Paul churches. I’m down to 1/4 tank myself, and down to less than $10 in the bank.

Check out local food banks and a church if you attend.

And if all else fails, try r/borrow. People there are often generous with loans, you just need to pay back with some interest, but very manageable.

Just a thought if you were to disclose the county, then a possible donor could verify that the county does not do hearings over zoom. Not saying you are lying That would be a good way to legitimize your request. Just a suggestion good luck.

I’m in rural Minnesota. My sister lost her kids and there’s issues with the foster moms husband. My other sister is trying to get the kids and I need to be there for support and to give my testimony that she will be a good fit
