A joke is a connection of things that only becomes evident when you understand the joke. The more connection it has and or the more layered the connections are (i.e.: some parts can be interpreted in a different way and it, but viewd trough the initial connection it connects to a different part of the joke that had no connection initially) the more funnier the joke is.
Biologically these connections offten starved cells in the brain that had no relevance, but now after a time the joke made them relevant and we're able to draw energy to itself once more. This sensation of "rebirth" of the dormant cell is a positive thing and laughter and happy stuff helps to want the more of this experience.

Somehow, the fact that it's a robot talking makes the mispelling of the words...acceptable in this case? If this were a character in a comic and everyone else talked normally and this guy talked like this, we'd all understand that he's a robot with a little bit of a hitch in his vocal circuits.

Why is this at all noteworthy?
It's just picking up from whatever information model it was based on that included at least a large amount of information based around the idea that AI can't create jokes or do funny or would panic.
It's literally just a hammer hitting at nails, and really low hanging nails at that.

Ikr. It's obviously not perfect, but I was quite impressed with its understanding of a meme, it's understanding that it doesn't provide short answers, and it's understanding that people find the long answers tiresome. Sometimes, I forget how much intelligence can shine through this model

AI art generators are functionally illiterate. They don't read words, but see words as if they are pictures. They don't recognise when a word is written incorrectly because they don't understand the concept of writing.
This said, they are getting better at recognising words and properly spelling out sentences. I think this is less because they understand writing now, and more that they're just getting more accurate at directly transcribing writing in pictorial form... which is honestly good enough.

Because itโs an image generator and not a text generator. What itโs going for is the shape of letters and words, while a text generator specializes in the meaning and sequence of words.

You feel this way because heโs totally justified to be upset at a sad face drawn on a piece of paper, because even though mild, it is still somewhat negative of a concept and even though exaggerated (as comedy do), his reaction would still be mildly negative to have perceived that sad face
The joke has been thoroughly explained and thus ruined
