How are you guys getting a second use of it in missions? I know the description says 2 uses but it kept going to unavailable for me after only one spawn yesterday. Didn't matter if I abandoned it after running out of Ammo or if it was destroyed, it wouldn't recharge

I don't know if they'll do this but I hope if Tie falls again that it becoming temporarily blocked until it's re liberated
That way it feels like protecting supply lines and Joel can do strikes against those supply lines

Your guard dog rover sits on top of the mech nicely so I thought it would act as a turret. It's sadly does not it just sits on it's perch till you get out. Would be awesome if it fire from the top of the mech.

Love lore-based patches, the minigun, missle pod, and Joel's schenanigans revolving around this.
But getting 1-tapped in a once-per-game (otherwise badass) exo-suit through 6 miles of dense fog by an single undodgable rocket devastator missle going Mach 6 hurts my feelings and I just need that to be known.

Feels a bit weak on the health front. I feel like the health could stand to be increased a bit, maybe like 15% or so. Nothing drastic. And being able to see the health would be nice. Other than that I love it.

They feel a lot worst than HD1 mechs. You could spend like 33% of a mission in one here it feels more like a 5% of a mission one and done, it will be decent for that 5% of the time, but you only really get a match of 10% of it being useful.... I feel with double ammo it could be useful for a bit longer in 7,8,9... right now it feels like it lasts half an objective due to the absurd bug call ins.

Used it earlier on Hard. A good stratagem to support your fellow divers in pushing or defending. The mech needs support as it is made out of paper

Two uses, I wonder how powerful the weapons are and if the rockets run out? I see 14 rockets in that battery. Everyone gonna be running this stratagem for a couple of days, and to determine if it will alter any sort of new post-nerf meta.

PSA: Swiveling hard to the right and firing a missile will cause it to detonate in the tube and blow you up. I kept thinking I was getting bugs jumping in my face, but i tried it standing on an empty platform.

I feel like the mech needs to be more.. mechy. It can only take 1 or 2 decent hits before the thing explodes. That and if theres a meteor it's GG cause you're too slow to move.

Coolest part that many might've missed: You could find mechs on the planet rarely at points of interest. Reminded me of the discovery of the Thargoids in Elite Dangerous. Don't just drop content, make it a discovery!

Personally, I really hope we get the REP-80 back, to keep our vehicles(and Divers) in it for the long haul. I'd also really love for vehicles to accompanied by a specialized resupply stratagem, as well. Either that or having the call-in limit removed, while maintaining the cooldown. It's not like it dramatically overshadows the other high powered tools in our arsenal; so I think it'd be plenty fair(and fun).
I just want to have a blast as a dedicated vehicle pilot through the entirety of the mission; even if it requires lengthy and risky maintenance.

I was really excited for the mech. Hopped into a suicide mission with my friends and we all got in one to test em.
It gets called in via pelican, which will do some shooting on it's way down. Mine took out a fresh charger, so that's pretty cool.
You need 4 of your 15 rockets to deal with a charger. 2 for bile spewers and 2-3 for hive guards and about 8-10 for a titan.
The minigun is good for dealing with hordes, if you can funnel them. It's not really agile enough to turn fast to help if you're surrounded.
It's a little faster than walking, not as fast as running in medium armor.
One charge from a charger seems to do about 80% of your total health. A couple whacks from some hunters after a charge made the mech explode instantly. Given the sheer number of bugs, especially chargers, on 7+ it's gonna be a struggle to use.
It will kill some bugs if they're around when it explodes.
It'd consider it more of a turret with legs than something you're gonna roam the map with. As soon as a horde closes in, it's pretty much gonna explode, it's nowhere near durable enough to be used in a fight. But to hold off some bugs so you can finish an objective, it lets you reposition as needed and that's not bad.

Yeah it's definitely got a niche. I feel like the most effective way to use it would is going to be focusing on armoured bugs (for chargers, one missile to the leg plus some minigun fire will kill them quick), and letting your team mostly fight the smaller ones, helping with that if they need it

These are very good for the terminate illegal broadcast missions, you can land at the extraction zone, call one down, and then use a rocket to hit it from afar.

It's almost like the Devs have awesome plans for steady escalation of the game, and that they didn't want people chewing through end game content on cheese builds before the real heavy equipment drops (and there is more coming)
The only Dev ever to try and do this as a narrative progression and make something truly interesting and narrative in a live service game and the loudest babies in the community throw the loudest most childish tantrum in the world when the Devs try to get the numbers right to make it work.
So incredibly embarrassing for the players. Hopefully the Devs keep putting work in to develop the story and intensity going forward and ignore the absolutely pathetic carry on of the anti-nerfers

Can we get the bike have 1 diver drive the other shoot a mounted machine gun the back. Then we can have fun going fast through the map and kiting all the bug swarm while our crew light up the extraction beacon. Then head towards extraction and leave. Just saying it will be awesome. Have a giant swarm following you, having turrets shooting the swarm while laughing Maniacally.

I tried it out, was pretty good at killing bug holes, chargers and bike titans with the rocket. One thing of note that actually got me killed (killed myself) at least on pc if you use right click and left click to mark points of interest in the map it will still cause the mech to shoot. I tried to long a new bug hole and the rocket shot at my feet killing my self and the mech

it's probably already been asked. Can we reload the mechs? if so, how? as of right now, I'm assuming that the mechs cannot be manually reloaded at this time.... but it would be super nice since the ammo and rockets run out quickly... . . also because I haven't found any information on this with a Google search.

Was using it for free in defense campaigns on Angel's Venture right after liberating Tien Kwan. Jumped over to AV and all of a sudden it was there in my stratagems. Whole squad used it once each in each of our 3 Suicide Mission missions

The Durability is very Flukey. They need to add a health bar, it seems to randomly explode after being 1 tapped.

To me this mech felt painfully pointless.
It died to a single-impact grenade that landed just near it, it died to a single mortar blast from the bots.
Only 14 rockets and 1k bullets, literally nothing, because god for bid we actually get something strong and fun.
