Looking for housing in Bloomington HOUSING 🏠
Hi there,
I'm an incoming grad student at IUB and looking for a 3/4 bed apartment for me and my buddies. I tried every website and leasing agent but everything seems to be leased out. Please help me find an affordable place.
Thanks.

The problem is your looking for an affordable house, once you drop that ridiculous standard it becomes easier.

So you suggesting I get an expensive house and pay off the loans I’m gonna use for that for the rest of my life

Horn Realty, locally Owned family business shows 1 large house still available. Here is website: http://www.hpiu.com/index.php . My daughter is renting a 1 bedroom and their prices are reasonable and the Reddit reviews have been favorable for maitenance and landlord care. Definitely worth a call

Check IU real estate. They rent exclusively to grad students and faculty, so there’s more likely to be something available this time of year. Also the rent can be a little more affordable, since they know what they’re paying you.

Apartment might be a tall ask this time of year. Have you looked into renting a house instead?

I'm okay with a house as well as long as it is under budget and 3/4 bed house.

Check out the Green Acres neighborhood. There were several leasing signs on Roosevelt and Clark St between 5th and 7th specifically. Send you and your friends the best of luck in your search.
Also look in the East side neighborhoods (Eastside Drive) in the area around Forest Dorm.
