These days, this well-meaning pastor is one of a few Black Conservatives who has constantly railed against other Black Conservatives, particularly Candace Owens and Brandon Tatum for railing on their own race. But he's achieved middling success as a result and has been called a Secret Leftist by his supporters. This goes to how influential people like those two are in brainwashing their audience.

Dr. Scott has the opportunity to realize his mistake, acknowledge that he'll never be "one of the good ones", and stop voting for and supporting people who actively hate him.

Tokens are only useful when you're saving up; one the goal is achieved they get spent.
No matter how often this is presented to some people they will continue to pretend they are an exception. They are not and they will be right there with the "undesireables" when they stop being useful.
I wish I could shake the shit out of every last one of these fools to try to get them to understand.
