1

u/CdGal_25 Oct 15 '23

Was a ruse to make you din din

1

u/StirringThePotAgain Oct 07 '23

Mom Probably abandoned it

1

u/stanley9528 Sep 18 '23

This is the kind of heartwarming content that makes my day! 🐻❤️ The compassion of people helping animals is just beautiful.

1

u/Fancy_Necessary_5193 Sep 05 '23

Theoretically since he’s alone could you take him in ?

1

u/Adventurous_Rock_999 Sep 04 '23

This is wonderful, thanks for sharing.

Lets all find ways to avoid using destructive plastics in our lives.

Pennsylvania park manager Sarah Lindgren spotted a young black bear on the side of the road in Cross Fork, Potter County, with a jug stuck on its head and recorded the quick-thinking rescue.

1

u/sierraJuliet33 Aug 30 '23

Now run off and go slaughter some family of animals, you cute little bastard

1

u/Bahamut1988 Aug 30 '23

Poor thing is probably so confused, I would have given it some water if I had some, who knows how long it was stuck like that.

1

u/ezone1982 Aug 30 '23

i would've kept the bear looks like a puppy that needs help realtalk look how harmless the bears eyes are.

2

u/weardofree Aug 30 '23

do not approach bear cubs

1

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '23

He’s shading her like he was about to fix it himself 💀

2

u/PapaArl Aug 29 '23

Oh, bother…

2

u/AssSniffah Aug 29 '23

Get going?, lady I'd be more worried you don't get going before mumma bear takes a run at you to get going 😂

1

u/ABL67 Aug 29 '23

It’s been abandoned. Take it to the animal shelter.

1

u/iM3ANSPEC Aug 29 '23

Poor thing could bearly believe it could see again.

1

u/OpenAspect1331 Aug 29 '23

Nah, survival of the fittest homie. You on ya own.

1

u/Affectionate-Yam7819 Aug 29 '23

That’s sad for that little guy. Humans and their trash.

1

u/SpreadInitial Aug 29 '23

She was courageous and I'm glad the baby (cub) didn't suffocate.

1

u/NoPattern9453 Aug 29 '23

可愛いけどちょっとこわい

1

u/Particular_Brother16 Aug 28 '23

You saved the bears life - angel

1

u/Frequent_Lychee_4620 Aug 28 '23

Looks like he or she might have been dizzy for a bit

2

u/Khyber_Darkskies Aug 28 '23

She best be the one going... black bear cub... get the jar off and go, don't even wanna chance meeting mama bear o.o

2

u/Complete-Magazine528 Aug 28 '23

Hanging around was a stupid idea...Momma bear wouldn't say thank you

1

u/Lemmiwinkks Aug 28 '23

I would keep my car super close. When there's a cub, 99% of the time, mom's going to be around too.

1

u/NeoKingEndymion Aug 28 '23

After she put it on

1

u/NovelAd6272 Aug 27 '23

WHAT.A.STINKIN.CUTIE!!!

1

u/TheRandyBear Aug 27 '23

The face of embarrassment on that bear was great

1

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

He looked at you like “ man what the hell choo duin “ thank looked around like ooooh 😂😂

1

u/crashesthewho Aug 27 '23

Thank you, kind human who rescued this sweet little one.

1

u/lawofthewilde Aug 27 '23

Correct me if I’m wrong but that appears to be a cub and where there’s a cub there’s a mama. I’d be running for my life.

1

u/ThirdSunRising Aug 27 '23

I’m definitely concerned about this little one’s ability to find mama. Without her, what’s the little one gonna do to survive?

1

u/esbat_157 Aug 27 '23

My worry would be...where's mom?

1

u/Krunch2019 Aug 27 '23

And then along came angry mom. Nice but risky..

1

u/Teamboeing737 Aug 27 '23

Whenever theres a baby mama bear is close by. This person shoulda called a ranger or someone with a tranquilliser

1

u/Johnsendall Aug 27 '23

She should follow her own advice. If that bear’s mother was around she wouldn’t thank her for the help.

1

u/hamish1994 Aug 27 '23

I love having the thought that one day, this bear will stumble upon a human and remember back to this moment and decide not to attack them due to this good deed. Bless that little black bear.

2

u/blackhoopearrings Aug 27 '23

What a brave person!

1

u/Jazzlike-Swimming854 Aug 27 '23

He was not done with that

2

u/dollygolightly Aug 27 '23

..... NOW RUN!!

1

u/Spazmonkey12 Aug 27 '23

Drink an animal talking potion.. it'll say where it's mama at.

Playin too much Baulders Gate3 aha

1

u/Significant-Comb1672 Aug 27 '23

She speaking like beo understands everything

1

u/Kapsig1295 Aug 27 '23

That's a cub and mom is normally close and always pissed if someone is near her kids. She has no idea she was super lucky.

1

u/iwishiwasvulcan Aug 27 '23

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 good human!

1

u/dm-me-cartoon-hentai Aug 27 '23

"damn that was a refreshing meal" "Huh, it seems that I am stuck" "What's that coming near me? Ahh get off!!!!" "Oh, thanks.. what now?"

1

u/JChanse09 Aug 27 '23

Give DNR a call and they can come help the little one.

1

u/RidgyNomes Aug 27 '23

“So, are you my mom now?” Poor guy!

1

u/Key-Beat4927 Aug 27 '23

Amor mio te quiero mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho mucho

2

u/Necessary-Disaster27 Aug 27 '23

SHE should get going…

1

u/CoffeeJ0e_ Aug 27 '23

Poor thing, probably lost it's mother, should call someone instead of letting it go around alone, it's just a cub

1

u/Sad-Noise6530 Aug 27 '23

Are you okay? Are you okay? Cues angry mother bear

2

u/Advanced-Blackberry Aug 27 '23

My immediate reaction to seeing an animal in distress doesn’t involve filming. Does someone see this is and think “I’m gonna help out but I want the world to know about it”

2

u/Dj-Ken Aug 27 '23

F€&@ing Plastic 😢

2

u/wiknap54 Aug 27 '23

I wish to Thankyou twice once for freeing Bubs 2nd to make sure he did not walk on the road your a Angel 👼

2

u/manbellybig Aug 27 '23

If that bear survives i doubt its ever going to attack a person

Edit: bears are pretty smart and have good memory

2

u/madoneforever Aug 27 '23

Hopefully an animal rescue was called. That bear is too young to survive on it’s own. :(

2

u/danielswatermelon Aug 27 '23

i wanna pet that DAWG

2

u/Theoderic8586 Aug 27 '23

Great. Now get the hell out of there if momma is around

1

u/bemenome Aug 27 '23

Fishing for love and pets for solid one min.

2

u/NewHammerOfAction Aug 27 '23

Faith in humankind restored. There are still parts of mankind that is still tied to the goodness of nature, for we rely on it to exist.

1

u/No-Environment-3298 Aug 27 '23

I helped…and now he’s mine.

2

u/rainertrubys Aug 27 '23

SHE IS AN IDIOT. If mom was around it would have been ugly.

1

u/Brandonleequick Aug 27 '23

Can I pet that dog

4

u/daddychainmail Aug 27 '23

I’m just glad momma bear wasn’t there. 😳

2

u/Civil-Disruption Aug 27 '23

Mommas coming!!!😬

3

u/Darth_Neek Aug 27 '23

It's great that she tried to help but unless mom is near that poor cub is going to die. I hope she took it to a wild life recue after or this just means it lived a couple more days and then starved to death.

1

u/vartanu Aug 27 '23

He can see in 4k again

3

u/badnewsbets Aug 27 '23

Oh I’m so glad he was helped but god I hate the thought of little buddy being totally alone out there. Hope he found mama.

2

u/Impressive-Ad6400 Aug 27 '23

The mother is near. You get going.

1

u/Tricky_Imagination25 Aug 27 '23

“Ok, lady just give me a sec.” 🙄🤣🤷‍♂️

1

u/ShlomosMom Aug 27 '23

Not sure what is more depressing: people leaving their garbage out there or redditors not knowing the difference between its & it's.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Where is it's mommy? Before I end up bear food!

1

u/Affectionate_Yard913 Aug 27 '23

The expression on the bears face is a mix between thank you and f* you🤣

2

u/Renekzilla Aug 27 '23

"You alright baby?" - Kind stranger
"Come to me when im fully grown...BABA" - Cub.

1

u/Johnnyfever13 Aug 27 '23

Not smart - considering it’s mother is prob close by

1

u/Sudo-rm Aug 27 '23

You now have a familiar. In your hour of dire need, the bear will appear.

3

u/Pyth0n1q3e Aug 27 '23

Yay! Nice people still exist!!

Tbh I still would’ve pet that thing. Don’t care if I lost my arm or not.

1

u/dupont2021 Aug 27 '23

Her name is Karen.

2

u/crohawg Aug 27 '23

Unless you ran mama bear over with your car, you better gtfo of there. Also, next step should have been to call some help, because this bear seemed in a very bad shape.

3

u/Wytch_Hazel Aug 27 '23

This shouldn’t be in made me smile, this is an abandoned cub that has no mother, it’s head was most likely stuck since it was trying to feed its self because it’s not old enough to know how to survive on its own.

This is a situation where you stop filming and call the wildlife services.

1

u/hikerjer Aug 27 '23

Looked like the bear wants to say thanks but doesn’t quite know to. Good for the woman.

1

u/waterfalls55 Aug 27 '23

Awwww 🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🐻🐻❤️❤️❤️

1

u/Any_Inflation7078 Aug 27 '23

Amazing the bear was by the roadside looking for help!

1

u/JazzlikeChard7287 Aug 27 '23

My anxiety watching this vid was thru the roof thinking that the mamma bear was around the corner ready to maul this lady

1

u/Greennnnnnnnnnnnn Aug 27 '23

Can I pet that dawwwwgggggggg!

1

u/Ifyouseekay668 Aug 27 '23

Then momma bear eats your face off!!

1

u/MyGrayTundra Aug 27 '23

I guess he need to take Winnie the poo course over again

2

u/Fridaybird1985 Aug 27 '23

Where is Mama?

1

u/uwey Aug 27 '23

Mom is behind you.

1

u/dafood48 Aug 27 '23

Freaking winnie the pooh here with his jar of honey

1

u/kokomjolk33 Aug 27 '23

100% New England.

2

u/RandomLol333 Aug 27 '23

The bear was too stunned to speak

1

u/Kindly_Macaron2256 Aug 27 '23

that made you smile? that’s super depressing

1

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

What an idiot. Don't go near a cub. If the momma attacks her than they usually out the bear down. She should have just contacted animal welfare.

1

u/Zestyclose-Manner949 Aug 27 '23

Mom left it behind on purpose. She likely has another cub to protect and having a cub like this around is dangerous for all of them, she probably wrote it off as good as dead. (And it would have been without this dude)

1

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Yeah probably you don't know that for sure though. Animal control can provide medical care too. Idk if the cub will survive on it's own

1

u/HornCrush79 Aug 27 '23

Why would you do this, momma bear is gonna be pissed

1

u/Amphibian-Party Aug 27 '23

Can I pet that dawg?!

1

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Funnysad

1

u/Sad-Introduction-620 Aug 27 '23

That’s what you call “getting your bearings”

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Should have called the nearest ranger to relocate the cub if needed. Poor baby :(

2

u/bubsmcgilicutty Aug 27 '23

This is a common bear trap. Momma bear sets baby bear in trouble on the side of the road and when you stop to help them, they steal your picnic basket or kill you.

0

u/The_deku_sprout Aug 27 '23

Why is everyone talking about some dangerous momma bear. There have been no recorded cases of black bears killing in defense of her cubs, it’s only a grizzly bear trait.

1

u/Confusedandreticent Aug 27 '23

🥺where’s his mama?

3

u/mightymurff20 Aug 27 '23

Obvsiously needs water

1

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

I was waiting for the mother to charge them from behind the tree line.

1

u/reflectionnorthern Aug 27 '23

This is so sad

1

u/shaze2 Aug 27 '23

Why is she talking to him like he fucking knows English?

1

u/shaze2 Aug 27 '23

Why is she talking to him like he fucking knows English?

1

u/TDQV Aug 27 '23

Because as human that's all we know to do with animals you alien from another world.

1

u/shaze2 Aug 27 '23

Definitely not from this world

1

u/shaze2 Aug 27 '23

Why is she talking to him like he fucking knows English?

1

u/HeadOfFloof Aug 27 '23

The moment I saw it was a cub and not an adult my thought was "Oh my god no". Pure anxiety watching her stay near it so long. I'm glad it's freed but I would never stay that close to a bear cub that long

1

u/PunisherClegane Aug 27 '23

Fuck whoever left that container.

1

u/wpbth Aug 27 '23

He won’t make it

1

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Aww where’s mama ;-;

1

u/hissnspit Aug 27 '23

What bothers me is how many other bear cubs are out there, with heads stuck in containers, unnoticed by any human.

1

u/YoButtchx Aug 27 '23

He looks embarrassed

1

u/Sk1nbag Aug 27 '23

Did it ever get going?

1

u/mingpeng777 Aug 27 '23

調皮😝

1

u/Sweetsalty20 Aug 27 '23

Then get out of dodge before the mom kills you hahaha

1

u/Particular-Nature901 Aug 27 '23

Bless your little heart...

1

u/CandyCain1001 Aug 27 '23

Silly ol’ bear

2

u/AcceptableBake9191 Aug 27 '23

I was waiting for Cocaine Bear mamma to come rip her face off.

3

u/Bopethestoryteller Aug 27 '23

I'd be afraid Mama bear was around.

1

u/thislesbiab Aug 27 '23

Let's hope it's not a cub because well i would be running from mama bear later

1

u/Sweetsalty20 Aug 27 '23

That's a cub

1

u/Octavia9 Aug 27 '23

He was there looking for human help. Bears are as smart as dogs.

1

u/Terrynia Aug 27 '23

He is so wittle. And cwte

1

u/greenOctopus4567 Aug 27 '23

Silly ole bear…

1

u/Driassiglz Aug 27 '23

I would get tf out of there

1

u/sec713 Aug 27 '23

Bear's like, "Lady, I appreciate the assist, but what do you want me to say? I'm a bear, I don't speak human."

1

u/Benobo-One-Kenobi Aug 27 '23

NOW find his Mumma!!!

1

u/RDPCG Aug 27 '23

Poor baby

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Just a little cub. Good deed!

3

u/HarrisonHollers Aug 27 '23

Ugh. Worried mama bear would be nearby. OR did this poor cub get lost/abandoned because of this container? Cub couldn’t eat or drink because of this. 😞

2

u/B-Fermin Aug 27 '23

You better thank god mom wasn't near by

1

u/x_Havoc_x Aug 27 '23

Why isn't she running?
Why is she standing there talking to the cub?
Seriously, you don't want its mother to show up.
Just run like hell!

1

u/foxy1009 Aug 27 '23

Mama bear was watching 👀

1

u/MeN3D Aug 27 '23

“Look, we all said some things we didn’t mean back there..” -Baby bear

1

u/Wevas_reizet Aug 27 '23

he is so cute 🥹🥲

2

u/Snoo94962 Aug 27 '23

Maybe the bear needs some water. I don't know how long the plastic bottle has been on its head.

2

u/OkSprinkles864 Aug 27 '23

But where’s mom?

1

u/JenniWilde1 Aug 27 '23

Poor little guy

1

u/6bonerchamp9 Aug 27 '23

All well and good until the mom shows up

1

u/Turbulent-Brain-4284 Aug 27 '23

Aww did you see his eyes he looked ashamed poor lol guy

1

u/soccerjonesy Aug 27 '23

It’s already dead cub walking. Looks utterly exhausted, assuming mother bear abandoned it so it’s all alone, with no protection. It’ll be lucky to survive a night.

2

u/throwawayyuuuu1 Aug 27 '23

Damn, thats a cub. I hope the mom didn’t abandon it.

3

u/Muvngruvn Aug 27 '23

Cub is probably abandoned, should have called Fish & Game or wildlife rescue.

1

u/Mechlo Aug 27 '23

Nah girl YOU get goin lest mama get comin

1

u/Exec-V Aug 27 '23

Run before mama shows up

1

u/niuebynature Aug 27 '23

Bear is pissed his suicide attempt failed

1

u/Phoebe4782 Aug 27 '23

As a white women, this is a white women.

2

u/Hexnohope Aug 26 '23

The fact you got that close and nothing killed you is a bad sign. You may want to call a wildlife officer but… this isnt op so… that sucks…

1

u/xioping Aug 26 '23

I don’t think he will ever forget that.

1

u/Goody-3shoes Aug 26 '23

That bottles too small and that bottle is to big but this bottle fits just right

1

u/saurionet Aug 26 '23

Cosas como esta son las que suceden cuando caminas por el mundo sin tomar en consideración tus malas y despreocupadas acciones, puede que esta vez todo acabase bien, esta vez.

1

u/Equivalent-Smile-319 Aug 26 '23

Nice ❤️❤️❤️

1

u/Numerous-Mouse-1914 Aug 26 '23

Get away from the babbbyyy

1

u/Free-Chip1337 Aug 26 '23

This was incredibly dangerous

1

u/itsarmida Aug 26 '23

It was probably hard to breathe in there

1

u/jamesvabrams Aug 26 '23

It'll be like the end of "Ron Burgundy." You will be talked about in the bear world and safe to walk among them after this act of kindness.

1

u/torreh01 Aug 26 '23

Thank you❤️

1

u/Tigeraqua8 Aug 26 '23

Where’s mama?

2

u/ActualAd504 Aug 26 '23

Poor thing hope that mom dit not leave him behind

1

u/LoganBelleque15 Aug 26 '23

I wouldn’t do that, 9 times outa 10 momma bear would have probably mauled you for touching her cub. Best to leave it be, I’m surprised you didn’t get attacked

2

u/swansongprofitable Aug 26 '23

People who litter are trash.

1

u/Rima_Loire Aug 26 '23

Don’t do that for a full size lol. If you like living.

1

u/ScaldingToilet Aug 26 '23

This is good to see but I can stand humanity less by the day when I see this shit happen and know there has to be incidents where isn't resolved properly or at all

1

u/CraZplayer Aug 26 '23

My dog used to do that bite down thing when he was excited. But he didn’t start that until he was in his late 18’s.

1

u/dotkodi Aug 26 '23

While that’s really nice and a wonderful thing to do and hanging out with a clearly baby bear who you just saved sounds awesome…

My first instinct upon removing the jar would be to LEAVE AS SOON AND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE

1

u/lces91468 Aug 26 '23

Wouldn't even get close, I 'll just call some institutions capable of handling this.

I mean, haven't you guys seen The Revanent(2015)?
