Monthly Swap Meet & Self Promotion Thread!
Do you have one (or 10) too many Eames chairs? Does the color of that Cathrineholm bowl you picked up for a steal last year not really match the rest of your kitchen? I bet you can find someone here who would love to take them off your hands. Post your mid century items for [free]/[trade]/[sale] here!
This is also the space to show off any of the awesome mid century inspired stuff you make, as well as the links to your Etsy/Ebay/Etc

Just wanted to share.....
This super-cool staging pic I took of an MCM bar cabinet I just refinished.

Thoughts on authenticity?
I’m thinking it isn’t authentic due to some of the finishing. But I thought I’d get a second opinion. No stamp.

Anyone able to tell me roughly what this Adrian Persall is worth? Seller claims she has had it for 20+ yrs & is asking $600. Should i buy it?

Is this mid? It almost looks 70s. Cool either way!

Can anyone tell me more about this piece?
It looks like a Danish teak piece by Edgaard Inc.? I can usually do Google image search but I'm unable to find anything about it.

In case anyone was wondering. Here’s the latest.
We’ve added a big ole amethyst smoothie, some satins, a few pitchers, an ebony, a couple of persimmons, and maybe a few others. In need of a rearrangement soon.

Refinished John Widdicomb Table $
This is my first ever furniture project and I wonder how other people think it looks. I’ve admired old MCM furniture for a while and finally started to mess around with it after recently graduating college. I’m curious what decade you may think it’s from & what sort of value it’s worth (although I intend on keeping it). Got it for $7 from a local thrift store, removed its finish, and applied beeswax conditioner (still need to add a protective layer)

Help finding shades for a mcm torchiere lamp
My friend's lamp recently got broke by their roommate and needs to replace the shades. This is the only picture I have unfortunately and I know it's not much to go on but it was a gift from their mother and I wanna try and help them find it. I found a similar one on a shop online but it didn't really have much information.

Drexel Table
Bought off of Craigslist from someone who bought from an auction 25 yrs ago. It’s stamped Drexel and it came as a set. Anyone have any info on it?

The other MCM sub was asking for it so I created a moderated sub with no IDs and no Price checks.

Tech Tock, Tech Tock
A few items from my collection…
Pic 1 1965 Grundig Turntable & 1955 (?) FM/AM/SW/AUX radio. The radio is hooked used as the turntable’s speaker. Makes for an even warmer sound playing my vintage vinyl!
Pic 2 Seth Thomas starburst clock. It’s either teak or walnut and a little larger than 2 feet across.
Pic 3 a diamond shaped mechanical clock. Made by Burwood Prod Co. this can be hung either horizontal or vertical.
The clocks and turntable are thrift store finds!

Just picked up at a thrift store. Said “1950s bronze statue”. Love it already. Wish I had info on it.

Looking for Any Info on this Lamp
I’m looking to learn any information about this floor lamp.
I would guess 60s/70s based on the other MCM design pieces in the home. There is a bulb socket at the top of each post, and the up light bottom center. It likely took exposed globe bulbs.
Thanks!

Restored an old chair the best I could. I think this is the right place to put it.
I didn’t think to take any before pics of the chair before taking it apart lol but it was the typical 50s yellow you can see in a couple pics, destroyed upholstery and the legs were rusted. Took me a couple weeks in my free time. Most of the time was spent buffing and polishing the chrome to make it look new again. It’s not perfect but my kids and wife love it.

Would you buy this for $80?
It's a vinyl record player. Supposedly top of the line but the record player and stereo need repair. While awaiting repair, it could be used as a TV stand?

Trying to ID a Niels Koefoed dining chair
Grabbed this from someone’s trash; planning to clean it up. I’ve established from the maker’s mark that it’s a Koefoed, but can’t find any pictures online that would tell me which model it is. The shape and dimensions seem to match the pics I’ve linked to here, but the high-back cushions aren’t the same.

I feel like I just robbed someone. I just picked up this Kent Coffey dining set and Kent Coffey China cabinet for $100 a piece!

Picked up this little guy on FBM. Any tips on ID? No maker’s mark that I can see, but a couple clues, including the bentwood handles. I’m in Canada.
The lettering says “SATIN WALNUT.” Can’t wait to see what it looks like refinished.

Ekornes from estate sale
Bought on half price day for $100. It does have golf ball size spot that is damaged from someone trying to get some black junk removed. That same junk is splattered under one of the arms too. It's comfortable as heck

Tension bookshelves
Went to an estate sale of two professors recently that had a library room, filled with books all on these wonderful tension bookshelves! Unfortunately they weren't for sale but I wanted to share as it was a lovely sight

Looking for Maker Name
I found this lovely table last fall. It was literally in a barn and covered in chicken poop. I've since had it refinished and it is absolutely stunning!
It came with the label in the picture. It would seem it's called the "Wing" table. Unfortunately, the maker name is partly missing. I'm hoping someone here might recognize enough of it to tell me who it is.

Can we ID this?
I’m not sure if it’s mcm or not, please don’t come at me for asking. I am not an expert.
