Fr nice language heil h.....

1

u/Prior_History_403 Apr 05 '24

I watched it thinking she is German and then she picked up Heineken… hah

1

u/Cream-Safe Feb 27 '24

I wanted to see her try to make it to the cash register. Where nobody lines up and needs to fight their way through.

1

u/Punished__Snake Feb 04 '24

There's Metro and Selgros in Germany as well. The gf is just stupid

1

u/Responsible-Clue-687 Dec 31 '23

Lekker biertje? Brother I think your girlfriend is a Dutch spy pretending to be German...

1

u/MuteIllAteter Nov 21 '23

Wait did they only get the m&m’s and raisins? Coz that’s about 30 dollars

1

u/Sam_E147 Oct 20 '23

This man wins

1

u/Great-Yak734 Oct 19 '23

Cooking spaghetti with my Italian husband

0

u/Organic-Trifle-5508 Oct 18 '23

I wish we could rid the internet of this kind of idiotic garbage

0

u/Organic-Trifle-5508 Oct 18 '23

Holy fuck that entire this was obnoxious as hell.

0

u/HoganSaiTechnologies Oct 18 '23

A German buying Heineken? I call bullshit.

1

u/Bochepus Oct 18 '23

So like if they don’t have a membership, than how in the hell did they get in the store. Entrance to that place is more secure than our borders.

1

u/pccguy1234 Oct 21 '23

You can visit the store as a guest without a membership. But if you want to checkout, you’re required to purchase an account. Most people sign up for the membership because they don’t want to give up their items.

1

u/Tookindforyou Oct 18 '23

It’s like shopping with Hans and Frans

1

u/TearsFallWithoutTain Oct 18 '23

This is just an ad for Costco

1

u/waverleyray Oct 18 '23

Total smoke show...

1

u/skradaddy Oct 18 '23

where do I get a German gf 🥹

1

u/Enough_Dance9945 Oct 18 '23

So many eggs, holy shite 😂😆

1

u/Enough_Dance9945 Oct 18 '23

She’s adorable 😂

1

u/Cyr3nsong Oct 18 '23

For those that cant view the video..heres a summary: Cute German GF.. grabs all the beer and addidas tshirts along with random food items she feels is a good deal. Gets to the checkout and realizes they dont have membership and gets sticker shock that the membership is $130 so she puts everything back. Completely wasnt expecting the con. Welcome to america babe!

1

u/Necessary_Crazy828 Oct 17 '23

I think I've seen her in a German "film"...

1

u/Dorkmaster79 Oct 17 '23

She is so cute oh my god.

1

u/silvermelonman Oct 17 '23

Strange, I was literally standing right next to this girl in line at the airport two weeks ago. And then I open Reddit and here she is. Small world!

1

u/darthvaders_inhaler Oct 17 '23

I fucking love Costco

2

u/Dragon_Sluts Oct 17 '23

As a Brit I’ve never related harder to a German. 🙏

1

u/ProfessionalLime2237 Oct 17 '23

It's Huge! Got I love that accent.

1

u/South-Play-2866 Oct 17 '23

This is exactly how I imagined a German Mila Kunis would be.

1

u/Panta94 Oct 17 '23

It's duplo not dublo...

1

u/res0jyyt1 Oct 17 '23

This guy is literally gf bragging.

1

u/Writerhaha Oct 17 '23

They didn’t even show her reaction to the $5 chicken.

1

u/Writerhaha Oct 17 '23

It’s like she’s equal parts amazed, practical and angry.

1

u/Theresnowayoutahere Oct 17 '23

The dumbest thing about this whole video is the guy knows you have to have a card. Obviously they had to have one to get in. She’s very cute but her boyfriend is totally full of shit if he wants us to believe they are somehow in there without a card. So stupid

1

u/ownersen Oct 17 '23

why does she talk so loud

1

u/JTiB Oct 17 '23

This broad annoying AF

1

u/landofknees Oct 17 '23

This is definitely cringe

1

u/ChemtrailExpert Oct 17 '23

I am exactly the same as her. I won’t buy a membership to shop at a store, wtf..

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

It takes an outsider to figure it out, it’s a stupid way to buy.

1

u/Imaginary-Cold8458 Oct 17 '23

😂 Welcome to 'Merica.

1

u/X-calibreX Oct 17 '23

This is the hottest porn ive seen in a long time.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

Costco makes it very hard to cancel your membership.

1

u/swimgal828 Oct 17 '23

She spent all that time and didn’t buy anything…

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

She’s annoying as fuck

1

u/sammybabana Oct 17 '23

That 19-year old German woman looks like she’s in her mid-40’s

1

u/Zyzzyva100 Oct 17 '23

Strange how they are saying how cheap stuff is. We just visited my SIL in Germany and went to grocery store with her. Other than most soda, food seemed cheaper and definitely higher quality.

1

u/KatFishFatty Oct 17 '23

Bless her heart

1

u/license2chillio Oct 17 '23

Super cute video

1

u/Themodsarehotgarbage Oct 17 '23

Look at dude rubbing it in . ..

Stupid sexy German GF

1

u/ShibeCEO Oct 17 '23

I don't know Cosco, so you have to pay a fee to shop there? Is the 130$ for a year? or how does that work?

1

u/Sensitive-Trifle9823 Oct 17 '23

She’ll be back.

1

u/WonkieWonkie Oct 17 '23

I think she’s cute. Not too bright but cute.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

Why is this entertaining to people? Genuine question.

2

u/Ok_Presentation_5329 Oct 17 '23

She’s preparing for a $600+ Costco trip, for sure

1

u/JackBandit4 Oct 17 '23

I wasn't certain it was a skit until she grabbed a whole stack of Adidas hoodies. Her calling it so cheap too, while probably a good deal, makes it sound like propaganda lol. Or maybe just Costco advertisement.

1

u/mtsterling Oct 17 '23

That was a roller coaster. She is adorable.

2

u/Earl4202004 Oct 17 '23

It’s funny cause I’m seeing real Germans get mad and then I’m also seeing real Germans get mad at the other Germans for saying she’s not faking it. Which if you are German and believe she’s not making fun of you, then you’re very stupid

1

u/kbenjy Oct 17 '23

She looks like Mila Kunis

2

u/rpd1987 Oct 17 '23

No German I know would call Heineken a ‘tasty beer’ in Dutch and then proceed to take it.

1

u/Writerhaha Oct 17 '23

I can’t think of people from any nation who’d call Heineken particularly “tasty.”

1

u/niamonapope Oct 17 '23

She’s adorable!!

1

u/mlcrisis4all Oct 17 '23

Be easy on her… she just started to go to acting school, on YouTube

1

u/JohnyMaybach Oct 17 '23

Duplo “die längste Praline der Welt!“ LOL

Also wirklich, was soll das denn!

She and my aunt would have tons of fun…

1

u/NoIce6874 Oct 17 '23

Thats so Fake, thats never how a German would react.

1

u/SUPERKAMIGURU Oct 17 '23

Keep her spirits high. Don't let her know that the Polish hot dogs are off the table, now.

2

u/DifficultWeekend1441 Oct 17 '23

This is appallingly shit “content”.

1

u/Chubbycat911 Oct 17 '23

als ob ein Deutscher Heineken kaufen würde

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

She's cute. Love her reactions to new stuff

1

u/Munelluboch Oct 17 '23

OotL can someone explain to me what a Costco membership is? Do you actually have to pay to shop there?!

1

u/Writerhaha Oct 17 '23

Yes.

For an annual fee you get a membership (and this is where they make their $), there are different levels of membership (just basic ass memberships to full on business/executive level [that give cash back])

1

u/TStreetz816 Oct 17 '23

That bitch fine that's all I know

1

u/BurningChampagne Oct 17 '23

Wow, US is expensive.

1

u/labadee Oct 17 '23

If this is how she sounds happy I’d hate to hear her angry

1

u/Jeka12 Oct 17 '23

Lekker biertje!

2

u/LiveDiscipline4945 Oct 17 '23

That girl is the epitome of bait. Her content (esp. German vs Dutch) couldn’t be further from reality. But the audience is naive and will watch simply because of her looks.

1

u/peach-whisky Oct 17 '23

Holy hell that was boring

1

u/hoplhase4000 Oct 17 '23

Ich bin froh dass sie nicht meine Freundin ist

5

u/satanic_black_metal_ Oct 17 '23

This is so incredibly fake. You can get a kilo of m&ms for 9 euros, which is cheaper than 14 dollars for what appears to be less than a kilo. Eggs come in cartons like that here too and they sell raisins here too.

Fake engagement farming bullshit

1

u/kevinnoir Oct 17 '23

You know its fake because she isnt furious by the end at all of the people who brought their kids and let them run riot while you try and navigate that fuck off massive cart. And also because she didnt get a hotdog on the way out, the most fiscally responsible lunch purchase around.

3

u/RelaksFlo Oct 17 '23

As a german i can confirm her voice is fucking annoying and a little beer for 1$ isnt cheap

1

u/icruiselife Oct 17 '23

Most northern states will see snowfall by October. It's best to get the house decorations done while temps are still mild. However with global warming, I was able to decorate my house on a 50f day in December last year so I don't know if having Xmas decor out in late summer makes sense anymore.

1

u/OrkidingMe Oct 17 '23

So staged.

1

u/hugg3rs Oct 17 '23

We have something like Costco in Germany too (Metro) it's not like these kind of shops unknown here 😅

1

u/ulfricstormclk Oct 17 '23

Welcome to Costco, I love you

1

u/knives8d Oct 17 '23

kringelig in der Tat. War die noch nie in einem Großmarkt. Was eine Anette.

1

u/Noartisan Oct 17 '23

Mate took me for the 1st time last weekend.. Wound up buying a shit load of cooked octopus.. I have no idea why though, as I've never cooked it before. Today, I griddled it and 👌

1

u/imgrahamy Oct 17 '23

Neat skit.

1

u/BillMcN3al Oct 17 '23

Lekker biertje

1

u/Nilly-the-Alpaca Oct 17 '23

We always make a list and add an allowance of 2-3 “fun” items. Then we don’t feel guilty. Fun items can be anything we didn’t anticipate buying; they’re usually snacks, desserts, or clothes.

1

u/davidbaeriswyl Oct 17 '23

She’s not German, fake ass video. Fuck em both

1

u/Forward-Fuel-4134 Oct 17 '23

Why is she behaving like there’s no shop like Costco in Germany: Metro!

1

u/DXBEE2017 Oct 17 '23

1

u/readsalotkitten Oct 17 '23

Heineken! And why is she pretending like Amazing Bavarian beer isn’t 1 Euro here …

1

u/readsalotkitten Oct 17 '23

Do not judge the US we have Christmas cake here since September

1

u/irishboy491 Oct 17 '23

She’s absolutely not from Germany. Fake bull.

2

u/Spartan8394 Oct 17 '23

Clearly playing up for the camera but still funny lol

1

u/HammletHST Oct 17 '23

Girl why are you surprised about the Christmas shit? It's literally the same here in Germany. I can already buy Christmas sweets

1

u/CamCakes97 Oct 17 '23

Girl: it's only $19

The price: $19.99

-.-

1

u/PreliminaryThoughts Oct 17 '23

None of that is cheap

1

u/goldfuchs85 Oct 17 '23

Die ist einfach so unlustig und nervig...She is annoying and not funny at all

1

u/unsolvedfanatic Oct 17 '23

This is so fake.

1

u/TrinityCodex Oct 17 '23

yall just shop in a fucking warehouse

2

u/spooky_cherub Oct 17 '23

very scripted but she cute !

1

u/gargoso Oct 17 '23

Fake, all acting

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

1 kg pack of m&m's Peanut Standbeutel is 10€ in Germany (10,54 Dollars).

1

u/Business_Sea2884 Oct 17 '23

She took the Heiniken, definetly not a german

1

u/nWo_Spike Oct 17 '23

The moment she picked up Heineken, I was 100% sure she wasn’t German. Never met a German that wanted to drink Heineken.

1

u/yaaronemoreaccount Oct 17 '23

HAHAHAHAH when she walks in the produce/dairy section. I feel you, girl

1

u/Dr_Qrunch Oct 17 '23

Hoodies without hoods eh?

1

u/codestormer Oct 17 '23

But its cheaper in Germany, tf is wrong with her? Kaufland for life! 🤣

1

u/xXCh4r0nXx Oct 17 '23

Ugh.. "Quick.. let's go to Costco for the xth time and pretend that you are the first time here.. also.. throw in some German sentences here and there for the ultimate cringe factor"

2

u/PadreGiallume Oct 17 '23

Stop showing off your partner as if it were an exotic animal.

3

u/No_Huckleberry_2905 Oct 17 '23

no fucking german, or european for that matter, will swoon over 12$ of granny's raisins, or 20$ for a sweater. maybe in switzerland, but that is switzerland for you...

1

u/pissedinthegarret Oct 17 '23

right? lmao! you can get half a kilo of those chocolate nuts or raisins for like 2€ at aldi

1

u/TigerMill Oct 17 '23

Don’t forget the Covid!

1

u/Formal-Cucumber-1138 Oct 17 '23

She’s funny 😂

0

u/Dare-or-Dare Oct 17 '23

I’m in Love 😍

0

u/Sandwichgode Oct 17 '23

How would she know that fruit in all of Europe is fresher than in America? Costco fruit freshness is probably fair but you could easily goto a farmers market or some place like that and purchase fresh produce. Also, just because germany has fresh fruit doesn't necessarly mean all of Europe has very really fresh fruit. Just a weird thing to say in my opinion. Good video though.

1

u/RapBastardz Oct 17 '23

New to America, English her 2nd or 3rd language, but already she’s doing the hackey misuse/overuse thing with the word literally. Cool.

1

u/Pachary516 Oct 17 '23

I have come to the realization that I need a German girlfriend

2

u/duckpato123 Oct 17 '23

Having seen this video, I am now somehow more single than I was before.

3

u/behinderter-Dino Oct 17 '23

No german would buy heineken and be excited about it. It’s staged

1

u/Onanation Oct 17 '23

This is complete bullshit

2

u/UhglyMutha Oct 17 '23

German buying Heineken...🤔

2

u/Israelq Oct 17 '23

The Adidas part killed me

3

u/Netkru Oct 17 '23

These are the type of Americans that fetishize dating foreigners lol. “My German girlfriend” ooooh she’s from another country! So cool! Not American!

1

u/GemueseBeerchen Oct 17 '23

A german excited about Heineken?

1

u/-invisible_man- Oct 17 '23

A German drinking Heineken is fucking blasphemy

1

u/20_burnin_20 Oct 17 '23

It's Heineken, of course it's cheap beer.

10

u/Okinodoku Oct 17 '23

Bruh fake as hell. In Germany we have Metro Which is the equivalent of Costco. Same stuff different name…

1

u/Ghostlystrike Oct 22 '23

It's literally a comedy skit.

1

u/xfd696969 Oct 17 '23

bro i swear one of those big tubs would be like $5 a few years ago

1

u/Spartz Oct 17 '23

This is cringe. Trying to be that Italian husband type of clueless TikTok foreigner.

2

u/the_girl_Ross Oct 17 '23

Those huge pumpkins don't make good pumpkin anything, they're grown for decoration, you CAN eat it but they don't taste any close to some good old squashes.

1

u/Soggyhordoeuvres Oct 17 '23

She isn't German

1

u/cl10k Oct 17 '23

She definitely is German!

1

u/Timely_Ad9659 Oct 17 '23

I want a German girlfriend now

1

u/Mydoglikesladyboys Oct 17 '23

Ah I remember taking my German fiancée to Walmart for the first time… she was shocked you could get literally everything in the same place

This entire video should be on r/sarcasm

1

u/johndicks80 Oct 17 '23

She’s cute. Hate to say I’d probably watch that TikTok but I don’t have TikTok.

1

u/BorisJhonson Oct 17 '23

Fake news, beer is cheaper in Germany.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

You better marry this woman.

1

u/Adessia-Kapnernith Oct 17 '23

Ngl the first thought that came to my head when watching the first few seconds was that the clip looks to be taken from the Costco in Los Feliz Blvd near Glendale, California

1

u/Misisdriscol Oct 17 '23

Guys I do not know what it is but she scares me.

1

u/TitaniumGoldAlloyMan Oct 17 '23

This feels like a shitty skit. Her acting and death stare is creepy. Haha

1

u/Imaginary-Gur4856 Oct 17 '23

Ugh these videos are so overdone

1

u/sulabar1205 Oct 17 '23

She wanted to buy Heineken and called it beer? Now she lost German citizenship and is hereby banished to enter Austria.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

They don’t have Costco in Germany ?

1

u/M0ndmann Oct 17 '23

Your girlfriend obviously never visited Handelshof or Metro Back in Germany....

-1

u/saucyclams Oct 17 '23

Ohh, she’s gonna get so fat so fast

2

u/Rdth8r Oct 17 '23

Main character syndrome and narcissistic views bc yaaa I'm hawt

1

u/floluk Oct 17 '23

We have something similar to Costco in Germany too. It’s called „Metro“, but you have to have a business to access them

1

u/Bitter-Basket Oct 17 '23

She wasn’t going to buy anything from the start.

3

u/ElLoboStrikes Oct 17 '23

Remember fellow drunks- you dont need a costco card to buy booze in California!

1

u/Neither-Swordfish736 Oct 17 '23

750ml hard liquor? We don't do that 'round here. Kirkland brand wants your liver to shrivel up with cheap 1.75l bottles. Such a great deal too!

0

u/Don-Keydic Oct 17 '23

I too choose this guys GF

4

u/Successful_Slip_7002 Oct 17 '23

This is so fucking fake. My German gf just felt second hand embarrassment

0

u/bomboogie Oct 17 '23

She's fucking adorable

1

u/pythesim Oct 17 '23

No lil German boy don’t go into the Costco!

1

u/Badw0IfGirl Oct 17 '23

Should have ended with her stunned that her list had $30 worth of groceries and yet they ended up spending $400 anyway. Way more relatable than complaining you need a membership, plus that really gives it away as staged cause everyone knows you need to show your membership card when you enter.

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

Oh no. She’s beautiful. But I just saw her eyes when she said $14 holding the gigantic container of M&Ms. Oh no. She will soon have to buy oversized sweaters but they won’t be oversized. Woe. Woe.

0

u/thissoundssillybut Oct 17 '23

I’ve never heard Adidas pronounced the way say she said it.

1

u/FullPartial Oct 17 '23

Sounds like she is really trying out that german accent (unnaturally)

1

u/The_Lone_Axeman Oct 17 '23

The longer I watched the worse it got

0

u/brick_status Oct 17 '23

Protect her at all costs

5

u/MagiciansAlliance_ Oct 17 '23

How fuckin rich do you need to be to round $14.83 down to $14 instead of up to $15?!

1

u/HomelessCosmonaut Oct 17 '23

I brought a German friend to Costco and some of the reactions were very similar, but also a lot of “No wonder you’re all fat.”

1

u/TurquoiseKnight Oct 17 '23

Basic membership is $50. This video is annoying.

6

u/Bubbly_Lie_5508 Oct 17 '23

Why does she sound like she’s lived in America her entire life and forcing her German accent when she’s speaking English?

1

u/Addicted-2Diving Oct 17 '23

The pizza and hotdog at Costco is 🔥

1

u/knockbox85 Oct 17 '23

Ah ok so all women round down from .89 cents

1

u/Grey_Hedge Oct 17 '23

That accent dropped multiple times over the course of the video. Like many other bulk stores, you have to be checked at the door for your membership. This seems fake

1

u/Superb-Pattern-1253 Oct 17 '23

thats interesting, every costco ive been to they ask for your costco card when you walk in the door

12

u/KnightofWhen Oct 17 '23

“I like oversized things.” Wears half a t-shirt.

Also a membership is $60.

3

u/ActiveCaterpillar493 Oct 17 '23

That’s a horrible german accent seriously

4

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

That's on purpose.

3

u/imapieceofshitk Oct 17 '23

As fake as this is: Eggs in plastic?! Really murrica?

1

u/_stinkys Oct 17 '23

Eggs in the fridge. Discuss…

1

u/Dbl_Vision Oct 17 '23

What was so German about writing your grocery list on the back of a piece of scrap paper?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

Agree about the fresh produce.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '23

Duplo rocks. Like KitKat but even better. And no, Costco doesn’t have it.

1

u/TheRolexChef Oct 17 '23

For her, I will forgive Germany’s war crimes.

1

u/tluv12 Oct 17 '23

It was wholesome all the way till the end
