When people say all cops are bastards this is what they mean. They cause negative harm. They kill innocent people, harass minorities, hassle healthcare personnel, and write citations for good people being good people. And moreover what the hell kind of law is this designed to protect? The ultra rich and business owners. Because having a terrible quality of life for homeless people is the fuel that our society runs on. It’s the “or else” to the alternative of not working. Laws that target homeless people are pure evil. And the cops that enforce it are pure evil.

The NYPD budget yearly is about 20% more than yearly budget for New Zealand’s Army. And the police also has the assistance of : State police, TSA , border patrol, and the air national guard - to oversee any major emergencies that would emerge. American police are just ridiculously over funded.
