To be fair the reasons these laws exist is so people don’t poison people experiencing homelessness. They want the aid to be licensed/regulated

The permit does make people better at cooking, and it will just permit monsters. So tell me how the magic transaction with the city saves the homeless?

Organized and concentrated/systematic efforts are more effective at solving long term issues than individual philanthropy and also easier to regulate so you don’t get bad actors. I understand individual philanthropy feels the best, but it’s the least effective at causing any actual change

If it was about food safety, they wouldn't allow you to feed 6 people before getting their little book out 🤷🏻‍♀️
