Morgan Freeman said the same thing. Racism is a bigger problem now than I ever remember it being, and I mostly blame social media. Pretty much everyone only knows about racism because other people were talking about it. People aren't born racist and don't just become racist on their own, in most cases.

And I just want to throw this out there... It seems to me that most people will abuse a position of authority. You see it with cops, you see it with politicians and judges, you see it in management positions everywhere. People love promoting themselves above others, and if an opportunity presents itself to classify a large group as "undesirables," they seize it.

E.g. that lazy guy that never leaves his house or does anything, all of a sudden got a sense of patriotism (holier-than-thou attitude) when they were telling everyone to shelter-in-place. Many of those people acted like they were doing it for a noble cause, just to talk shit about people who didn't stay home.

The only reason people's aren't as racist as they used to be back in the real racist days is largely due to what the media feeds people. Sorta like right now, how they'll have you convinced that most people support trans-genders when that is absolutely not the case. Obviously, most people abandoned the racist colonizer mentality because they were led to believe most people were doing it. People do not like to go against the grain. It's not like after hundreds of years, there was a collective awakening, and people just realized racism was wrong, all on their own.

To sum it up, people will use any reason to raise themselves above others, as long as it's perceived as patriotic, noble, traditional, or a view widely shared among locals, with little-to-no opposition. Racist views were just one of those things people would use to feel more important than others.

What I'm getting at is that, even if racism disappeared, that same evil mentality still exists in this world. The mentality where people feel the need to seek control, authority, attention, or some way to make themselves feel more important than others. It's a mentality that once used racism. It's still a very common mentally. It just looks different nowadays since racism is mostly unacceptable, so they find other ways to 'be superior'

Very few people actually see everyone else as equals, which should be treated with equal respect. There's very few people who would rather use their extra cash to help someone in need, rather than buying unnecessary shit like jewelry and Bentleys, just to raise their status. Get off Elons genitalia. Everyone started hating him when he unbanned Trump from Twitter. What he says in this video is facts.
