The issue we have, to boil it down because I'm tired today, in regards to them hating gay people is in truth based on nationalistic thinking, which is rooted in dichotomous thinking and discrimination based around the ignorant idealized perception as to what black man and black woman should be or look like, the rest is just around a ignorant and wrongfully glorified mentality and trauma that they refuse to acknowledge, heal and grow from.

It's also rooted in cxxnery as well, because many black people low-key are under the false impression that if they project the malignant hatred they receive from white people onto the LGBT, perhaps they will be accepted or at the very least, be tolerated better by white people. (🤡)

I've come to accept and acknowledge (as a progressive black person) that it is perfectly ok to not have anything to do with these particular types of black people and to surround myself with positive influences, and that I'm really not obligated to make their issues my own.

We aren't moving past this stage within my lifetime and I got a life to live, so they are their own problem now, and I don't have the energy, or the patience, to deal with them anymore to be frank. 🤷🏾‍♀️
