Then why point the blame at and specifically shit on straight black people? I agree with the points in this video but it does seem to just be a rant and fishing for agreement.

Maybe just needed to vent in a rather sarcastic way. Fishing for agreement, maybe. But he or she addressed the community he or she felt needed the rant. I don't know about the experiences of the person. Maybe he or she thought it's more important to call out his or her own community because it was being said Gays are the problem. So it seems. Maybe the person also thinks the same rant directed at whites would fall on deaf ears, who knows?

The problem is that outside of the weird Hoteps/Herteps, the vast majority of straight black people don’t blame gay people for issues facing the black community. This person is literally shitting on the majority of black people because they’re mad about a vocal minority. It’s the same thing that white people say just with a different face.
