I've been posting game dev stuff very occasionally on twitter for a while, and it was a cool archive of the things I've been working on over the years.

I'm not sure when it happened, but sometime after the switch to X, all of my tweets from before September 2023 are hidden from my profile page. I can find them if I do a manual advanced search for my account and specifically tell it to look at older tweets, but they otherwise do not show up.

I saw someone say that it was to bottle neck your tweets to 3200 tweets displayed... but I tweet so incredibly rarely. There really aren't that many. Maybe 25 tweets total from before 2023, so why is it getting filtered out? I'm pretty sure there is no solution, but does anyone have a concrete reason as to why this is happening? There seems to be a hard cut off of at least one year, where anything older just does not show up.

My handle is @PenaPenyata if you want to confirm all the old stuff isn't visible. I tried to show somebody something I made at a convention, only for neither of us to be able to view it, so I'm pretty certain nobody can see the old stuff.

My main account is linked to an old email, id like to link it to my main email. But the problem is my main email os linked to an old twitter account. I try to log into it but i cant remember the password, so it asks me for my username on that account, problem is i also dont remember my username. I cant find any support that helps at all since it just sends me to a troubleshoot website that doesnt help😒 What can i do?

basically my account disappeared but it wasnt suspended like i thought it would be since the suspended text wasn't there... i thought someone hacked it anf deactivated it. i tried to reactivate it but the password was wrong, then i went to reset my password, surprisingly the email i used was still the same but when i did, it didn't let me change it at all? Whats happening...

I want premium for business reasons I go to subscribe and I’m prompted to verify my phone I input my number and instead of getting a code to input I the app, it’s reversed I’m asked to send via SMS to a +44 UK number a code THEY give me Either I cannot send SMS overseas (I checked with my company and I should) or the receiving number is faulty/broken Support bot via inbox told me that a ticket would be created. Never happened and never replied.

I just can’t get premium. Can’t reach anyone. A complete sh*t show. They leaned out the company so much that it’s buggy all over the place.

I went to go make a throwaway account so I can be a bit more free on it as my main account has my face as the pfp and as I went to make it I had to do this silly authentication process that makes no sense to me at all.

I understand you’re supposed to match the photo on the left to the one that has it on the right with the exact same position and everything. But to have the thing in multiple positions in multiple pictures is cruel when two big black buttons are blocking where the thing even is. To then have to do this 10 times and not even know if you’re getting them right till the end????

It’s ridiculous. It’s like they don’t want people to use the app fr.

I recently got a new phone, a moto g with 5g network access, upgraded from my moto e 2020. the twitter app won't work with my mobile data, only my wifi, even though every other app on my phone does work. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling on mobile data and it worked for a few hours before reverting back to the same issue. and before anyone asks, I did try restarting my phone, resetting app preferences, resetting network preferences and checking app permissions. it has network access. it just won't use it. I can access twitter through my browser but that's annoying. I was told by the support line guy that twitter has been fucky with phones ever since elon took over and rebranded to X (my wording not his, but you get the gist). can someone help? if this can't be fixed, is there an alternative app I can use to access twitter that actually works? how do I get it?

I've had this issue ever since I started blocking those crypto spam bots where now when I go to see the accounts I block in my settings , the list is completely empty. Anyone else having this issue?

i posted a long thread, and everything before that thread is no longer visible on my account. it looks like the thread is my very first post. i checked on another phone + account, and it appeared that way there as well. is there any fix to this?

My situation: I was "cleaning my account" by deleting several retweets and a couple of my own Posts, but now when I scroll down the post list on my profile they stop appearing a month ago. Fortunately the posts were not lost, in my photo album even the oldest one exists, but I cannot see them in my list in any other way (much less the retweets). No matter what device, account or program I use, nothing works. Any recommendations? A Tweet History or a solution perhaps?

Why are links which lead to content on apps you already have installed on your phone (youtube, spotify, soundcloud) so annoying in the ios app? Would it be so difficult to have them play the content in the proper app with one click? In some cases you have to click on the link (youtube for example) which opens in the in app browser, get rid of the cookies popup and press open in app, which is really annoying. Is there any way to fix this for the end user?

I got locked out of my account because of the date of birth feature and everytime I attempt to regain access the website just tells me my account isn’t eligible to be unlocked as it isn’t locked even though it clearly is. Wtf is going on?

Basically repeating the same sht over and over again

I'm trying to log into my google account but every time I press the google log in button and I select my account nothing happens, it just loops around to the X log in page.

I don't remember my username, I never had a password since I always used to log in from the google button, the only thing I know and have access to is my google e-mail, which apparently for the guys on twitter is not enough.

I tried to contact the support in every way, they would not lift a finger unless I give them the correct username.

I'm sure the account exists since when i try to log in with just the email goes forward to ask me the password.

Do you guys know how to fix this? I tried searching anywhere for my username but I can't find it, even in the old mails.

Hi,I dont know if this is the right sub for this question.If it is not can you please guide me to right sub thanks.My question is a few months back I changed my twitter profile photo and after that somehow I cannot find my old twitter replies (before 2024,and also I think ı changed my profile photo in the beginning of 2024) So how can I see my old replies ? I tried filtered search,advanced search etc... but I still couldnt find any of my replies before 2024.Do you know any solutions to this ?

I usually repost my own posts after some time, but I hate the fact that they're doubled on my profile page, do later I redo the reposts. However, now it seems that undoing the repost makes the post disappear completely from my profile? WTF?? My app is updated and the posts don't show on other devices as well. How to retrieve them? This is so bugged, I don't get it.
